The Irish Guy takes a look at every Premier League club, and finds one thing I've been proven wrong about this season, like Liverpool winning the Premier League title in May. Business enquiries: irishguybusiness@gmail.com
The way the war in Ukraine is going....don't be so sure that they won't be a global conflict No saying it will but it is certainly three seconds to midnight
Irish guy WAS hitc Sport. He was the face of the channel. Idk what they thought would happen tbh. Sevens is good but he makes a different type of content.
He was HITC Sport. Trying to replace him is like Barca giving Ansu Fati the number 10 after Messi left. No matter the potential but no one is coming close to the artist.
As a Man United Fan, my worst prediction was that we would finish 8th like Arsenal back in 202/21 season. Especially since last season we finished 6th, this season we were at rock bottom of the League at one point, Ronaldo wanted to leave, We couldn't get our transfer targets. Like everything was a Mess. And now we are arguable in somewhat of a title race, in a cup final and just beat Barcelona in Europe. Yup, got this was horrendously wrong. But MAN AM I GLAD I WAS WRONG 😁
Darwin scoring 15-20 league goals. At the risk of sounding like a hipster, he has underperformed his PL xG this season, and with another preseason of training and having a full season in the Premier League, I feel like that's a realistic goal for him next season. Plus, he's done something right in getting others and himself in positions to score. I will ride the Nuñez wagon until I can't justify it anymore. For those who will fight me, I want you to answer this: Does anybody remember Vinicius Junior's first three seasons at Real Madrid? Now look at him.
The others r like the neighborhood kids who tear shit up in C.o.D at home, but then they come over n r horrible. Then u find out at their home they got all cheats installed. 🤣
Anyone who watched Brentford last year knows the cause of poor form was the loss of David Raya for two-three months. Eriksen helped, but Raya in terms of distribution is invaluable to that system.
Does anyone know Irish guys real name? It’s funny cause he’s so bad it becomes good. Love you man! Looking forward to your video in only sheppards pie !
Sorry did this guy say Lavia has been disappointing? Chelsea tried to buy him a month after he signed for Southampton for 35 million more than we paid? He then proceeded to tear up there midfield in the last game and bossed Enzo and had him on strings
Talking rubbish about the botman/ Carlos situation. Howe was always after Botman last January but Lille weren’t budging so went for Carlos and that fell through so we signed Dan Burn. Managed to get his number 1 target in the summer
To be honest I never wanted Carlos at Newcastle, cracking CB yes but I’m sure he was responsible for something like 39% of all penalties in La Liga which basically screams red cards
For Liverpool: Don't forget that Irish Guy predicted Brighton, Brentford and Leeds to get relegated and yet Liverpool have lost against all 3 of those teams in the Premier League this season at the same time when he predicted Liverpool to win the league.
I agreed with Rory Jennings about Haaland flopping. I can see where he was coming from because some players come from a foreign league & their first season can be poor. Also didn't expect Brentford & Fulham to do so well.
@@dannyplatt6161 I was expecting about 15. I thought he’d struggle more to adapt to the pace of the league but he’s been absolutely brilliant. Weirdly next season he might struggle because the expectations will be to hit the same numbers again.
He might replicate these numbers again next season if you consider the fact that he hasn't gelled 100℅ with the team and is still producing these numbers. You can see how Pep is constantly changing formation to try and find that perfect one that will suit Haaland and the team.
Why do people use the pre season as a measure to see how well a player will do? It's the dumbest measure I've ever heard of no team is actually trying to win games they're tryouts for some players, tests to see how some will get along and that's it
Another thing the Irish Guy was wrong about: The Europa League. He tells us every year how boring and uninspiring the UEL matches are. Well this season, if the play-in round is anything to go by, strap yourselves in for a rollercoaster UEL ride.
Thomas Frank making coffee for Dean Smith? Come on, just call him a PE teacher. He at least has the appropriate education for one. But for real, TF knows how to get his team running, and how to get out of a bad streak. And he really got Jensen to take a step or two up. Here's hoping he can reignite Damsgaard as well. If he can't pull that off, Kasper Hjulmand is probably the only would who can.
Quality tactics, players that fit their team and budget and a disciplined counter act formation that frustrates the top 6 at every opportunity. It’s not really shocking. In fact they probably should be in Europe this year if Raya didn’t miss 2-3 months because he got banged up at Leicester.
Jesus has 5 goals in 20 yes however he also has 5 assits. He helps with our build up play. Arteta does not want 1 player who scores goals he wants a free scoring front 4-5
so YOU are to blame for this season, not the injuries. You are the reason they are injured. for next season, please predict Liverpool to get relegated.
