I hate how they absolutely fan serviced alot of the girls in DR. Like alot of them had potential, but the fact that Mikan is still seen as the fan service nurse or clumsy
The fact that you said a sweet thing about Hifumi...🥺 thank you man. I feel like the only (among the very few) DR fan who... appreciated Hifumi. I'm not scared to say it. Sure it's no question he had defects, but chapter 3 gave so much depth to his character. I actually think I relate to him a lot. He has many insecurities which he was fighting to avoid and I loved the nerdy part of him. Wow I mean you just complimented Hifumi and I don't feel alone anymore!
@@YourFavoriteNPC yes! He wasn't the brightest character of THH but he was easily the most relatable (along with Toko cause she resonated with me a lot more despite her attitude). At the end my guess is that he just wanted recognition and to feel worthy... The hate for him really makes me sad.
@@assiaelmabrouki5552 Though he's not as dumb as people think, and he's a lot more helpful during trials than most of the cast. In the first trial, since he was the one on cleaning duty, his input was essential to figuring out how the true killer gained access to the incinerator. And in the second trial, he was the one who discovered Chihiro's broken e-handbook and helped back up that yes, intense heat does break them given that he found it in the sauna.
@@shukuchishikeishuu9540 damn that is true! He WAS helpful at times. But most people give him no credit at all for some reason... Not to mention that it is ALSO thanks to him that the students were able to convict Celeste as the culprit in chapter 3 (his last words were her real name, and turned out to be an important clue). I don't know this is just so unfair to see him being treated this way by the fandom...
I actually think Mondo's motive was interesting and helped dig out his character. And I agree, Celeste's motive was generic and disgusting, like that's the worst motive in my opinion in the whole series. Mikan wasn't the best reason either
@@marvinmiller2983 IKR? LIKE CELESTE DOING THE KILLING FOR MONEY WHILE SAYAKA DO IT FOR SEEING HER FRIENDS AGAIN AND THEY CALL SAYAKA A SNAKE, and they call Celeste a Girlboss when she does it for money.
To be honest, I kinda like Celeste's, because she's just ready to do anything for her ridiculous dream and doesn't give a shit. She wants a big old castle and handsome servants, and she's gonna get them.
Wow, the comments are actually respectfully discussing the game and characters in depth. It's refreshing to see people not arguing over ships and other dumb crap for once
Yeah, Korekiyo was so interesting and cool. I'm pretty sure Kork fans as a colective agree that his sister abused him and made him so messed up because they all feel like he was wasted potential and that his sister thingy needed an explanation That's me, I'm kork fans Also, happy to see someone else like Tsumugi!
@@akikihou yeah like, imagine if the whole rule implemented in that chapter actually had relevance, also make kork only kill Tenko and not Angie. The sheer potential of this simple setting is amazing, Kiyo surviving and being the first killer to live after killing someone. It will make us get a deeper understanding of his reasons and his backstory and a possible redemption arc
I like Kokichi not as a person but as a character legitimately because he makes the game 100% on what a killing game is suppose to be. -despair -betrayal -non-trustworthy also he speaks facts, like why the fricc would trust people you just met who can be a potential murderer? But what I hate the most is because he has 3 demon sprites that I would commit arson on them in front of the developers of the game.
I definitely am a Kokichi fan as well. He has a shit personality, but it’s what ultimately makes him fun and interesting. I can also appreciate how there’s a lot we don’t know about Kokichi, leaving parts of his personality up to interpretation.
Yeah, Celeste felt very out of character in trial 3. And yeah, we only accept IMPASTA. It's ironic how he ended up being a better Togami than the real one.
Don't mind me, just a comment desperate to compliment the best girl Mukuro Mukuro has countless potentials and possible roles that the author had to kill her for they are afraid to mishandle her character. She's already pretty and amazing the way she is, hence no beta concept of her. Speaking of "pretty", she's also more beautiful than Junko. She got that dangerous, serious sights with cute, blushy face and on top of that, she can also sing like an angel while there's a massacre happening nearby. Now I shall put a halt at praising my soldier waifu since if I continue to do so, I might ended building a wall of texts. In conclusion: -) Cool chad Ikusaba >>> Edgy virgin Enoshima -) I believe in Mukuro Ikusaba supremacy
The main reason why I love Kockichi as a character is that the initial turn-off for me was the talents. They were just so…out there. When Kockichi says “How can a game you’re forced to play be fun” that line hit me like a truck. To this day Kockichi is the one character who felt the most impactful. He is the ultimate supreme leader who led me to see all the students as human.
I agree with the kokichi one. I got so pissed when kaito got out alive man but kokichi still showed how complex he is chapter 6 with leads and hints and 5 with the script.
I love how you said something positive for Twogami. I love the character in the games and In the anime. He is genuinely such a nice person. This is a breath of fresh air.
Nekomaru should’ve had more relevance to the plot and honestly should’ve been Hajime’s friend over Nagito given his ultimate talent. Hajime, Chiaki, and Nekomaru would be a great pair let’s be honest Also gonta deserved better. Chapter 4 was so weird for me because despite Gonta being the one person kokichi actually referred to in higher respect (JP version ofc), he felt no sorrow for the fact Gonta killed Miu when he really just needed him as a bodyguard against her. All I wanted was a little honesty from kokichi’s character but I feel it either never came or came too late
In my interpretation (which is mostly based on theories and stuff) I like to think that Kokichi's first reaction to Gonta's execution was indeed his real one. Like, that he was actually sad about what had happened and then put back on his villain persona once the others didn't believe he felt bad. This is also because I believe that even though it was Kokichi's fault that Gonta killed Miu, he was only fine with it because Gonta did kinda do it out of free will. Of course, he was manipulated into it but he could've just as easily not killed her. So since DICE's number one rule is to never kill anyone (and i do believe that Kokichi did value this rule, also based on his hate for Maki), I believe that Kokichi kept telling himself that is wasn't, in fact, his fault that Gonta killed Miu. This would also explain why he got so angry when Gonta couldn't explain himself during trial 4, since if Gonta really didn't choose to kill Miu himself, it would've put a lot more responsibility for her death on Kokichi. (Of course, Kokichi is partially responsible for it anyway. This is just how I think his mindset could be explained.) But I do understand and agree with you. Gonta definetely deserved better and to get any idea of Kokichi's possible sorrow or guilt, you'd have to analyse and interpret a lot. So, yeah, just wanted to put this idea out there.
@@M.for_now my draft got deleted but in short, glad you said this, i forgot about that DICE rule. It would also explain why he outright outed gonta as the killer instead of having everyone figure it out later. He did feel partially responsible and wanted out of that guilt by exposing gonta as the real killer faster. I gotta wonder, is there anything gonta related in kokichi's room? He has the wax rantaro so surely theres something
@@Sirius-Nightstream well i'm not sure if there was anything related to Gonta specifically but since he did have something from each chapter I think he kept the VR glasses in his room (And of course printed out pictures of everyone on the whiteboard. I'm still curious as to where he got them...)
@@Sirius-Nightstream this doesnt count towards any of kokichi feeling remorse towards gonta, but kokichi was the only one who took gonta seriously about being able to see tiny microscopic bugs. And that he was the one who told miu to develop that vacuum thing for the gang to see the monokuma cameras. Which makes chapter 4 a lot more sad for me since even though kokichi always said rude and mean things about them, and even ended up causing their deaths, he also really respected their talents and skills. I just want to see gonta, miu, and kokichi interact without the threat of a killing game behind them
Hiyoko is an heir to the Saionji Clan, the head of her traditional Japanese dance. Her family is very traditionalist (which is why Hiyoko kinda dislikes other countries and thinks Japanese culture is superior, but on the good side she wants to protect old stuff that's in danger of being completely forgotten.) Apparently traditional dancing is a really big thing among certain people, because according to Hiyoko her bloodline was constantly targeted by conspiracies and assassinations from jealous people. For example, when she was a child someone put pins in her shoes, dead mice all over her bed and poisoned her food, among other things. Hiyoko's family is super overbearing, except for her kind father who always tried to protect her (he married into the family and thus isn't crazy like the rest, but had a very low rank as a result.) Eventually Hiyoko's super strict grandmother took her away from her parents and didn't allow her to see them (specifically her dad,) to raise her a heir the Clan can be proud of. So because Hiyoko was raised to be super important, she basically considers herself a noble and other people beneath her, and she doesn't trust people and absolutely hates when someone tries to trick her because of what was done to her as a child. Her mean behavior is basically her way of defending herself. Also, the reason she hates Mikan is actually explained at one point in the game if you happen to talk to her: she believes Mikan is a faker who does the clumsy stuff for attention, and she is actually right about that. I think it pisses her off how Mikan is looking pity, as Hiyoko herself reacted to her past in the opposite way by becoming super aggressive (though Mikan does have a violent side, but she hides that.)
Hiyoko is probably my #2 favorite character in the entire franchise (#1 is Miu 🖤). She had a rough upbringing and being mean is her way of protecting herself, but when you prove that she can trust you, she will love you and defend you forever.
Yeah. I understand why kamakiyos "sister" plot was a huge no for a lot of people.... But as a traumarized person i thought his character was interesting. He was abused and groomed by his sister, basically his entire life was revolved around her and only her. Once she was gone it was obvious that he didnt see himself as a real person without her. I wish he got some more development or at least a little healing. Or even have at least one character tell him that what happened to him was gross and far from ok, but that it isnt his fault or that its not HIM whos disgusting in this case. Idk. Also hes p hot
I actually really like Aoi, there’s a lot of little quirks to her character that I really relate with and feel understood by, such as her obsession with exercise conflicting with being a foodie (as someone who’s dealt with an eating/exercise disorder in the past but have a much healthier balance now) and her friendship with Sakura reminding me a bit of one of my past friendships. Even just her personality, sometimes there’s lines in the game or ways she says things where I’m thinking “she’s literally me”. I know she’s not a major character or anything, but she has a special place in my heart; Sometimes you need a ray of sunshine character lol
@@reincarnatedtobuildaharem Sorry for confusing you but some people just get annoyed by him. I dont understand either but that's what I believe to be the reason :)
I agree with all of these, especially for Imposter and Rantaro, I would've loved to see them more (which I guess means it's great that the side games exist) but I have to disagree with your Hiro one. I understand why people say he has little plot relevancy, but he has some of the most, if in an unconventional way. His mechanic skills show up (twice, I think) near the end when he dismantles Monokuma and gets a signal to the outside, plus it's his notebook discovered that helps further the mystery. As well as this, he ends up being important in chapter's 3 & 4 as a suspect, and his involvement in the cases makes them more interesting. And, most importantly, he adds some humour to the game :) If you disagree though, that's completely fair too! I would've loved to see his clairvoyance play a bigger role.
Sonia's flaws are the fear of losing her friends which makes her words abit illogical or we can say outlandish idea. One example is her blaming Monokuma in trial 4 and trial 5 as the culprit because she doesn't want to lose her friends and want to believe them. Her ill treatment towards Kazuichi was also over the top considering Kazuichi didn't treat her right either.
OH MY GOSH I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD FIND SOMEONE WHO HAS THE SAME OPINION AS ME ON EVERY SINGLE DANGANRONPA CHARACTER! I 100% agree with everything you just said and I already had these opinions on these characters too. Well besides on the favorite characters part but I still had the same opinions on those characters! It makes me so happy that I’m not the only one with these opinions! Also as much as I don’t like Tsumugi due to her killing two of my favorite characters, she is the best mastermind
Your opinions are completely valid, and I agree with many of them. Side note, I love your accent! It's so pleasant to listen to, and it somehow makes the character impressions even better- anyway, I liked the video. :)
i know the octagon thing is just a silly meme but you do realize that it's the game handholding you into count the sides of the weird weapon room right? i have been discussing with my friends how the octagon should be called by another language in the us version because in the jp version, the octagon is still written as octagon and hajime stated in early chapter 2 is that he sucks at english, so for a normal japanese high school boy who sucks at english to know what octagon means in japanese is a big deal. in the jp version, it's used to highlight how smart he actually is but in the us version, i mostly see people use that meme to dumb him down and fandom even sees it as one of hajime's characteristics being bad at math one other thing about peko is that she's actually very caring, one of the first things she talks to hajime is that if someone tries something funny (s/a) she wouldn't hesitate to pull her sword out. she also stood up for mikan once or twice when hiyoko insults her too much. the thing about peko is that she is learning to be a normal girl because yes, she's taught all her life to be a sword for fuyuhiko. she did care about mahiru in a way, because as brutal as she killed mahiru, she did it so quickly mahiru probably didn't even feel pain before she died, so i could say it's a mercy kill. she did say to the class before she was executed that she hoped no one would cause such a senseless murder as this again. she's caring and she's learning to show her soft side. she's more than being fuyuhiko's sword and i didn't even touch the secret events or her fte. also another thing i hate about celeste is that she told hifumi she was s/a by ishimaru and honestly i could understand why hifumi killed ishimaru after being told that. hifumi actually drank some respect wahmen juice and he only thinks of murder after a girl whom he kinda cares for is violated. celeste is dirty for using fake s/a claim and i hate her for that. also mad respect for having tsumugi as your fave mastermind because she was sooooo close to being caught in chapter 1 but she still takes the risk and she's a better actor than junko, hands down. also like she actually causes existential crisis for the survivors even before touching the hope vs despair thing. mad respect.
Bro I feel like Korekiyo and Teruteru could’ve been such interesting and legitimately cool characters if they didn’t each have something that brought them down completely. Teruteru I feel gets hit the most with it too, because his perverted side, as you said, is the ONLY thing people remember him for, even though he legitimately was trying to save Togami from Nagito, and was overall pretty caring. Of course, Kiyo’s whole sister thing ruined him, too. Kiyo was starting to shape into a potential favorite of mine and then BAM sister plot shoved into my face basically saying, “hey, you liked this guy? Too bad” They also have the same English VA if I remember correctly, not exactly relevant but hey it’s a thing
Huh. I never consitered Taka and Kaz the Kaitos of their games, but now that you mention it...I can see it. They also happen to be my favorites in their respective games. All and all, good taste my guy I do gotta defend my bro Mondo though. Even if the motive WAS pretty lame, I feel like his whole thing with his brother was handled well. The thing I hate is his execution, which is cool until the butter thing.
@@YourFavoriteNPC Fair, that's a super lame motivation to kill, but I feel like the point IS that it's a senseless murder. Mondo liked Chi and clearly wanted to help him. Plus it's clear that Mondo isn't the type to get violet with those he sees as weaker than him (his whole "I won't hit a woman" thing. Chi's a dude, but he's also small as heck). Mondo had no reasonable motivation to kill Chihiro, because in reality he didn't have a motive at all. He just cracked under the pressure of the death game, the threat of his secret being revealed, and the guilt of Daiya's death. He was a ticking timebomb and anyone who applied any pressure would get hurt. And Chihiro just happened to say the wrong thing.
3:30 a good one here is 2-2, i love Fuyu but i will never stop being salty about 2-2. A good Hiyoko point is how she called out Fuyu or how unlike most flawed characters(glares at Soda and Miu) she actually attempted to change and realised she had flaws and didn't get worse with every chapter. As usual a very fun watch :)
Danganronpa S shows Teruteru's caring side. I would've loved if Hajime helped Teruteru realize that he doesn't need to be fancy to impress everyone. And Teruteru agrees but still keeps the fake accent since people can understand him better.
I want Amami to be at least to survive in chapter 5 too. But I hate the fact that I can only remember him as a big brother, the nail paint session, and his death. There could've been more from him because of that. Like a deeper part of his character.
my favs of each game are: ishimaru, kazuichi and kiyo. i coukdnt tell what your opinion on kazuichi and ishimaru were but it’s nice to see your opinion on kiyo. i feel like he should’ve survived chapter 3 but still have had murdered tenko it would’ve been nice to explore the sister plot and just learn more about the possible abuse (considering how controlling the relationship was portrayed in the game)
yes! hifumi, mahiru and miu are great! i agree with probably everything...maybe besides peko...she really should've had more character. please...peko deserved so much better. where development??🥺 /unrelated, but i love komatsuzaki's work so much. the shading is so good. he's so good at drawing legs and feet. it was just today that i noticed how good hagakure's feet look... [(not sus!!)] //also, mukuro🛐
Ok i was anxious to know what would be said about kokichi (Finding out that my top fav character suddenly became gonta, i knew there wouldn't be anything bad to be said so yeah imma talk about kokichi) I'm happy that kokichi's character is appreciated. Thank you Anyways, we all still believe in Gonta
Bro about Mondo, they kept Fuyuhiko alive because if he died Peko's sacrifice would be useless, but then why Mondo got killed when his brother died for him
Makoto: I like how selfless he is, truly caring for others, and it's just remarkable. Even in Danganronpa 2, where he risked his job and eventually his life just to give the remanents of despair a 2nd chance. But he's still a bit basic. Sayaka: She ended up saving everyone in the first class trial despite being the victim, which you just have to respect. Though I dont like how she intended to betray Makoto. Mukuro: The plot twist involving her is interesting. However, not only does she die very early in the game, but she died in a stupid way, too. She could easily be given a darwin award for fictional character deaths. Leon: The concept of an ultimate hating their own talent is interesting. Though I did wish they fully committed to the concept instead of backing out on it at the last second. Chihiro: The twist involving his gender was interesting. Though I wish he did more with his talent beyond Alter Ego. Alter Ego: The fact that he is not only one of the few characters to survive their own execution but also ended up saving someone else from their execution makes me respect him. However, I wish he had more personality beyond basically being ChatGPT with hacking powers. Kiyotaka: Him just being so good of a person that it reaches comical levels never fails to make me laugh. Though I wish he wasn't given a transformation only to not even do anything with it. Mondo: Despite being a leader of a group of criminals, he is actually one of the more likable characters. However, I just wish he didn't make assumptions about Chirios' intentions. Hifumi: It's probably one of the funniest characters in the game. Though I wish he wasn't such a simp for Alter Ego of all characters. Celeste: She's cool, and her personality is just interesting. Though I wish she was smarter in the 3rd trial. Sakura: She is a genuinely kind-hearted person. However, I wish she did more stuff as the traitor before standing up to Monokuma. Junko: Great villain, multiple personalities are funny. Though her personality that just swears a lot is annoying, her other personalities aren't that bad, though. Monokuma: Is amazing as both a villain and a comic relief. Though I dont like how the Monokubs betraying him in V3 was a fake out (mentioning it here instead of with the Monokubs because I am not gonna comment on the Monokubs as a whole) Yasuhiro: His stupidity is funny. Though I wish he contributed more to the story outside of Chapter 3. Aoi: She's cute. Though I wish she was more involved in the story. Togo: Her fisherman story is interesting, though I wish she didn't assume everyone hated her. I also wish she wasn't such a simp for Byakuya. Genocide Jill: She's entertaining, and I love the irony of a serial killer who killed 100 people not only not killing anyone in the game but also being the one who saves everyone in the final trial. Byakuya: Jerk. Though he's a decent antagonist. Kyoko: Her backstory, twist, and relationship with Makoto are amazing. Though I wish she wasn't so cold. Akane: One of the bravest characters in the series. Though I wish she did more with her acrobatic talent. Ultimate Imposter: Selfless Leader, Fun Impersonation Gimmick, Amazing Twist, Actually more likable than the real Byakuya. Though I wish he didn't die because of the one thing he didn't confiscate, he could have prevented his own death. Chiaki: Adorable plus Gamer, which is based. The kindness she shows Hajime even after her death is just amazing, plus her hoodie is cute. I just wish her design wasn't so similar to Sonia. Ended up getting the 2 mixed up because of the design alone. Fuyuhiko: Kinda a jerk for the first 2 chapters, but after the 2nd chapter, he became one of my favorites. Having a Yakuza who is also one of the protagonists' best friends is cool. Though I will admit the scene where he cut himself made no sense. Gundham: Him having an anime villain personality despite his talent being something innocent like Ultimate Breeder is funny. Hajime: His twist is awesome, but aside from that, he's a bit basic, even more so than Makoto. Hiyoko: Shes mean. Though her being a perv in the beginning is funny. Ibuki: Cool design, cool sound based gimmicks. Though she doesn't really do much. Kacuichi: His personality is good, though. I wish he wasn't such a simp for Sonia, maybe simp for some of the other girls, too? Mahiru: Her photography skills could have been more useful in the investigations. I will admit her personality is pleasant, though. Mikan: Her clumsyness is funny, though I hate how she constantly asked for forgiveness in the 3rd trial. It got really annoying. Nagito: Refreshing to have a villain on the side of hope rather than despair, and his luck is cool. Though I wish his design wasn't so similar to Makoto, it made me think he was secretly Makoto. Nekomaru: Likable, and his robot form just made him even more badass. Though I wish he wasn't so obsessed with Scat. Peko: Her talent is cool, and her personality is cool. Though I dislike how she faked being sparkling justice, I was disappointed when it turned out she wasn't. Also, the fact that she tried to guilt everyone into not voting for her despite the fact that it would have gotten Fuyuhiko killed was stupid, considering she was supposed to be protecting him. Sonia: I love her, she's so strong and beautiful and kind. Plus, having royalty as part of the roster made things interesting. But again, I wish her design wasn't so similar to Chiaki. Teruteru: His backstory is sad, and seeing him try to protect everyone is admireable. Though I do think he was too much of a pervert and his accent was annoying. Monomi: I loved how much she cared about the students and the length she went to to protect them. Though I wish everyone wasn't so mean to her. Kaede: Kind and caring, and I love her, and the twist they pulled with her was a bold one. Though I wish she actually did kill Rantaro. Shuichi: His mystery is intriguing, and he's actually really likable. Though I dont like how he's an ultimate detective when we already had an ultimate detective in the first game. Himiko: She's adorable. Though I wish she wasn't so easily manipulated. Kaito: The fact that he simultaneously has an ego and is genuinely a good person is an endearing combination. Though I dislike how mad he got at Shuichi for getting Gonta executed despite the fact that he needed to do that to save everyone. Gonta: Endearing, Supportive. He's just amazing. Though his self-deprecation breaks my heart, I just wish he loved himself as much as he loved others. Kirumi: Her backstory made me afraid when I heard it, and the fact that she tried to save her country even after being convicted is admiring. Though I wish she didnt just kill Ryoma despite his resistance, normally I dont criticize that with the killers in this series, but the game wanted us to believe Kirumi killed Ryoma because he was giving up on life when Ryomas resistance said otherwise. Korekiyo: He's a cool villain. Though I wish he wasn't incestous, they could have replaced his sister with a normal girlfriend and kept everything else the same, and I wouldn't have any problems. Tenko: Her sexism is annoying. The kindness she shows to the female characters is admiring, but her sexism alone is what makes me hate her. Tsumugi: I hate the twist involving Tsumugi, but Tsumugi herself is a cool villain. Keebo: Refreshing to see a non-human student, his robot stuff is cool, and the robophobia jokes are funny. Though I do think it's unfair that he doesn't survive alongside Shuichi, Himiko, and Maki. I get it he self destructed, but they could have made that malfunction. Angie: Made for a cool villain in Chapter 3 prior to getting killed, though her obsession with Atua got annoying. Kokichi: The best non mastermind/traitor villains in the series. Though the fact that he got himself killed is odd, not bad, just odd. Miu: Her inventions spiced up the game so much, though I wish she wasn't such a jerk. Ryoma: Such a tragic character, though I wish he didn't go to jail. He killed someone the police were gonna have to deal with anyway. Maki: Cool twist, cool character. Though I wish it was explained how Kokichi knew she was the ultimate assassin. Rantaro: Cool twist though he only became interesting until after he was already dead. Monotaro: His amnesia is funny, and he is just overall funny. Though I wish he didn't get incestous with Monophanie. Monophanie: The irony of co-hosting a killing game yet being afraid of blood is funny. But I wish he didn't get incestous with Monotaro. Monosuke: The scariest out of the Monokubs, though I wish Monokuma didn't play favorites with him. Monokid: Hate him, not only is he mean to Monodam, but he also makes me uncomfortable. He does get better in Chapter 6, though. Monodam: He was just relentlessly killing the other Monokubs, and he actually felt scary sometimes. Though he just killed himself for no reason in Korekiyo's execution.
I agree about the sister thing that ruined Korekiyo. I mean come on he had such a cool character design and was extremely intelligent but what was the whole sister thing for 😭 I wish he had gotten more development and that the whole sister thing was taken out
5:01 i beg to differ. she actually has a huge personality, she’s just pressured to hide it because that’s how she was taught. Look back on free time events and then get back to me
Phew, I'm happy I agree with so many of your points, except for me Komaeda's hope blabbering became more either funny or creepy depending on the situation rather than boring, different humor I suppose.
I really hope they make a V2 where Rantaro manages to actually trick everyone and win by himself. It can be like a short game or anime special with just one case
@@elalaela2694 well uh... she probably has one of the best redemption arcs / character development in the entire series considering how weird she was in thh...
imo, imposter was the only one who got enough screen time as the first victim, Sayaka and Rantaro died WAYYYYYY too early, but Himiko tho shes best girl...(Also I agree with the Rantaro part)
I agree 100 percent with Junko. Hate her or not, her personality perfectly fit her despairy evil self. I actually kinda loved her sassy diva evil self but I ofc hate her at the same time for killing Chiaki, Kaede, Kaito, legit everyone who died. Tbh they made Junko a good character. :D ALSO PEKO!! im a bit tired to write more but yeah i agreed like 90% with all of them! also when you said ah yes the ultimate mom LOL today i saw someone called mama kirumi in ur discord
3:53 Hiyoko’s hostility towards Mikan is explained as people used to bully Hiyoko causing her to become extremely mean and it was confirmed that she was originally gonna get a redemption arc instead of Fuyuhinko but the writers scrapped it as it would make Peko’s death meaningless
Hiyoko wasn't bullied, but she was in constent danger because she is in the Saionji clan. Since she is so petite and weak she used to protect herself with bullying people.
What I hate about Keebo is that the FANDOM chalks him up just to be “is that a robophobic remark?” Or “cute smol bean” when really he’s quite arrogant at times and still pretty badass. He says stuff about robophobia often BECAUSE that’s all people see him as, in game and in real life, just some robot. The whole thing about his character is he wants to be known as not just a robot and make his own destiny and whatever, but no one takes him seriously. And not to mention he died becoming everything he fought against his whole existence, a sci-fi robot stereotype.
I agree with the Tenko one cause shes like the most hated DRV3 character cause of the hole "Degenerate Male" I swear people don't think shes probs had a bad experience like me with males,Cause I've had bad experiences with males yk I DON'T GO AROUND SAYING DEGENERATE MALE AND ALL but like I can relate to her a LOT
For Tsumugi, if we take V3's ending at face value, she didn't risk anything because she knew exactly what was going to happen because it was all scripted by the Danganronpa Team, and so she had no way to die until chapter 6 where she revealed everything. And even then she 100% convinced she wouldn't die. For Hajime Hinata not knowing what an octagon is, I'm not sure if it is true or not but apparently in the Japanese version of the game, Nagito used the English name of octagon and not the Japanese one, hence is confusion. That's also why nobody thought "Mmmh maybe if you flip these numbers it will reveal something" for the 11037 thing. Because they were accustomed to seeing Leon written in with Japanese alphabets and not the Latin one.
i also think tsumugi is the best mastermind she was one of my faverite characters in v3 so i'm a bid biased bdw i wonder what you think about himiko because she is also one of my favorites and you kinda skipped her
Wait- I don’t know how many sides are on an octagon also I literally agree with you on all these opinions, the only difference I have is my favorites (I have two) is nagito and kokichi, but even then I agree with you on the statements
as a Gundham fan, I can agree with this- I get confused with what he says sometimes get ready for this sayaka mukuro leon mondo taka hifumi sakura akane ultimate imposter gundham hiyoko ibuki nekomaru peko teruteru kaede kaito kirumi korekiyo gonta tsumugi kiibo and ryoma supremacy imo
I was actually curious what you were going to say you hate about Gonta in particular, and I was pleasantly surprised. I know that some people dislike him, and although I'm not sure why they do, I 100% respect their opinions (as long as they have an "actual reason", if that makes sense). But I agree with you on Gonta, I can't see a single reason to hate him (from my perspective at least)
I actually agree with you with most of these. Nagito and Kokichi have to be my favorites tho, Kiyo would've been one of my favorites but the whole sister thing ruined it
