You make the most efficient tutorial vids. And it's crazy how well you explained compression. It's one of the most daunting things for newcomers unfamiliar with audio terminology. Bravo
I had never heard of this. Really love how your channel offers tips and guides for things that I literally see no one else talking about when asking for help starting a stream or working with settings.
I don't why I usually see all your videos but I have never seen this one until today. LIFE SAVER. I always had audio problems during my streaming. Thank you, a LOT!
Thanks a lot for making this video. I've always liked the idea of having an "attenuation" setting like Discord has but on stream. I never really knew how to have it but finding this video helped me a lot. Thanks.
Hi Pete! I have been a Long time Subscriber since 2017 and Thanks to you and GC I have a Fantastic Streaming Channel on Mixer all because of your BRILLIANT Videos. Yesterday I was having a lot of issues trying to teach a mate how to adjust his levels because his Mic was either not loud enough or in-game Volume was WAY too High! We were struggling so much just to get his Volume setup just right :( TODAY!!! You Cam out and Launched this Video!!!!! It was as if you heard us!!! LOL!!! I quickly jumped onto my PC and copied all your Settings (My Mic + Music and In-game Audio Were all Fine to begin with) as soon as I did a test recording I was BLOWN away!! I quickly contacted my mate and shared this video! He is very excited to get it all fixed and you now have a new Subscriber! Thanks again for all your hard efforts to help us all out here mate! This was just another one of your VERY helpful Videos we love!
Getting the audio right is one of the biggest bug bears for me as a streamer. I had no idea this was a feature in OBS so much appreciated for the tip. Looking forward to more of these. :)
An awesome two-minute tutorial Pete. 😁 👌 I'll absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt be implementing this into my live streams. 😄 👊 I'd definitely be interested in watching more two-minute tutorial videos in the foreseeable future. Cheers mate! 🍻
Man... I knew ducking existed and never bothered to experiment with it. I have fiddled with audio settings for SO long, and then always having to tinker because every game's audio is different etc etc. I had tried using the compressor before without ducking even because I want to make sure the quiet/subtle sounds are broadcast without the loud being too loud etc etc. This is just an absolutely essential feature for me now. I can keep my game sounds and music at a volume I like while keeping broadcast volumes reasonable AND making sure my mic is audible. Thank you.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video. I have this issue so often! Not only overpowering game sound/effects vs my mic but also people on Discord while doing multiplayer. So gonna try this for my stream! Thank you! ❤️👍
This is one of your best videos. Hands down simple but super super effective. I had always thought about how do you do something like this... and you just blew my mind lol.
Your channel is absolutely awesome. So much knowledge here presented in a nice, simple way so us less experienced can get into the streaming game. Thanks!
An awesome video as per usual, Pete 😁 👌 As always thank you for taking the time to put this guide together this will definitely come in super handy. 😄 👍 👍 Cheers to you, my man! 🍻
Thx a lot for such awesome tip! Really safed hrs of test-streaming. Had a really bad one before I found this and afterwards it was like magic. Thx a lot!
This needs more likes. Thank you a lot. Happened on the video by accident, but it should be 1st find when someone needs to set up audio. Thank you, again!
Bro , other tutorials had me downloading virtual cables and a ton of unnecessary bullshit. Someone gave you 15/10 in the comments , I'm adding to that 20/10 . Simply superb. Thanks a mil.
Idk why but I never get notifications for your content even with the bell on all, but anyway amazing content as always and much love my dude keep up the great work ❤️
Very nice. Should this be done for streaming only since you can adjust the volume on separate tracks when editing the video? I don’t stream, hence why I’m asking.
