So its pretty obvious that one tree hill is my current obsession. Watching this episode was extremely heart-wrenching. I am so attached to haley and brooke's characters so when I watch this episode I can feel my heart thumping in my chest every time even though I know what happens. The inspiration for this video actually came when I heard this song (to build a home) after a while. I really wanted to make a video edit for this song because it was so beautiful and has powerful imagery but I could never find the right soul for it. Until I reflected on this episode and it made me realise that this episode was a major turning point for the show, it was as though anything else that happened before this didn't matter anymore, it was like a flashpoint (hehe arrowverse jargon) and this song about a home which was built with love and joy to end up disappearing. Like Peyton says - this will always stay with them and the 'home' that they built with love and safety is gone, things would never really ever go back to normal. Therefore, this video. It actually surprised me that I was able edit a 5 minute video because I have no patience to edit video over 3 minutes (as you can see most of my videos are short). The video mainly focuses on the core 5 - their relationships with each other and the events of that day itself. In conclusion, I hope you enjoy this. #onetreehill #fanvidfeed
