We shred paper and compost. What aluminum, glass, plastic we have is taken to the recycling center for $$. Stopped paying for garbage pick up because we produce a grocery bag of stuff that cant be recycled or composted. Whole Foods and other places we buy food at, lets us bring our own clean glass cointiners for items like seafood, cheese. And our own clean washable cloth bags for bulk items like nuts, grains etc. They also sell milk, cream, yogurt in glass bottles. Even our area wineries let us pay a deposit on bottles and when we come and buy a new case we get the wine for less. Watch www.zerowastehome.com and on RU-vid. That's pretty much how we live now.

What are my rights against my neighbors burning trash? I am disabled. I can not breath that stuff. How can i put a stop to it for my health sake?

I am sorry that you have these health issues, have you tried talking to your neighbor and explaining your situation? Then you can also check your local laws.

@@bigbearhomestead no i havent met them dont know their names dont even know what they look like. But today there was a fire 3 blocks from me. And now my house has smoke damage. I cant stand breathing this. What do i do?. Are they liable

Great video thanks for sharing ,if only i was able to burn (not in high fire danger times of course ) what we didn't recycle but sadly we are not 'allowed ' too here at all,just try it an a neighbor will have the fire dept on your doorstep quick smart, thus no choice we have to pay for waste removal service ,ah aussie governance at its finest :-(

Sure, We have a video series called Predator Control on the Homestead. We did a video on Snakes and in that video we show you how to make a snake trap out of a pizza box. Now this trap is a great tool to use to relocate non venomous snakes. It is also a great way to remove the venomous ones from your homestead.
