Can you do a long Q&A with Pia about your relationship? She is clearly 'woman for everything now' instead of an assistant only and so many times she is doing things she shouldn't do as an employee and it would be nice to hear her perspective on boundaries/lack of them/your relationship

When you mentioned something with the coving, yes, looking at it I did see it. But had you not said anything about the coving, I probably wouldn't! And you knowing where it is, obviously you see it as soon as you enter, but honestly - once you have the room decorated with all your lovely stuff, you probably won't really look at the coving anymore! 💖

I think once your space is in order, it will not "jump" out at you. I grew up in a post Victorian and we have these little "gems" within the home. No one notices but my mom 💛

Your reaction when showing us the Goad lampshade was 🤣🤣😍 Maybe you should get an air purifier to help get rid of the toxins in the air that comes from new paint, carpets, upholstery etc. That would probably help Duke (and you!) a lot. Your home looks stunning btw. Don’t think you will care about the moulding after a while 😊

Amelia, let me say as a perfectionist who dwells on all these annoying house issues like your coving, after a while you won't see it anymore, you will completely forget and there will be something else bothering you. Your house is looking lovely, I love your wallpaper 🌿💚

Honestly I'm so impressed how the hell you manage your time so well! A WHOLE house reno with 50 million workmen, day to day vlogging, meetings, work trips abroad, keeping up with all your friends and their events, family time, working out, being CEO of Raemi...All whilst looking so glamorous and put together!!!! Duke is adorable and I’m sure he will love the new place 💖 I moved several times and the most important thing I feel to advise you to do is NOT to clean all his things (pillows, blankets, toys..) but let him to have some familiar smell in the new house so that he can relax in his spot having his calming and familiar sensation, dogs are very reassured by habits 🥰 wish you the best!

Fix what ever you see isn't right now Amelia or it will bother you forever!!! The little straw bucket hat is soooo cute. Duke will be better at your mum's until you get everything in and unpacked at your new house. Less stressful for both of you. I miss my Lhasa Apso Cozmo who has passed away when I see you with your little boy. He was the one who was always there.... Much love from New Zealand x

Yes, I see it, but only because you mentioned it. It’s fine, don’t worry about it. Once you have moved in, you will get used to it and accept it as one of the quirky things about old houses. Your green borders and lamp shades in your upper bath are beautiful as is your master bath wall paper. Love the flowered chair fabric and chairs - fabulous! Your floors are beautiful, especially the herringbone! It’s a work of art - love that look! And, those patio doors - wow! You will love them! And, the black, I think you will quickly accept that too. And wasn’t the wall sconce right behind you black, and the toilet seat too? This has been such fun watching your home develop - thanks for sharing!

Emilia - Try the closet rods for high ceilings that have a bar pulls out and down to access the top rod. You could get an extra rod, or shelf or drawers in the middle.

So happy and excitedl for you! You’ve created an absolutely Beautiful home. Congratulations! As far as moving Porter 🧸 with his allergies/asthma since you have the option of letting him stay with your Mothers ,I would wait to bring him until everything is unpacked and settled. Open the windows to air out all the dust, paint, new carpet and furniture smells. As someone who has severe asthma and allergies I highly recommend getting a Dyson air purifier and humidifier. It cleans the air of dust, germs and allergens and puts humidity into the air which is important if you have allergies/ asthma. 😊

Honestly you are paying so much money for your house , so DO NOT feel guilty for asking for what you deserve and pay for ! For once be selfish and demand what you want done in your forever home ! I personally wouldnt worry about the coving. Once the room is fully decorated and you are living in this house it wont stick out to you anymore I believe 🤗 honestly I couldnt even see it when you pointed it out

When you were pointing at top of the coving I could also see it. But I really think that this is something you’ll stop noticing with time. Now that there’s so much focus on the renovation, I think it’s normal to focus on these „smaller“ things. Crossing my fingers that timing will now stay on your side 😊🤗

I’m getting so excited to see things ready to move in! I hope you’ll do a empty home tour before you move in so we can admire all the gorgeous details! Then once you’ve moved in and gotten more settled another tour would be fantastic! I love seeing before and after... or in this case after and after furnished! I love all the architectural details and I would just embrace the charm of an older home without straight walls and ceilings! Character is a good thing! I will have to disagree about taking storage all the way to the ceiling... I say always take advantage of every bit of storage space. Just make the top, hard to reach shelves for seasonal decor or off season clothes or luggage. A simple steps stool and it becomes easy access! The trim at the top should not be a problem for professionals. They have a miter saw and all will be fabulous! No need to stress! Congratulations on nearing the light at the end of this exciting but stressful tunnel! Woo Hoo!

I own an old house too and although the ceiling not being perfectly straight bothered be at the beginning, it’s just part of the character of the house and it doesn’t bother me as much now.

There’s a lot of off-gassing and dust etc after building which affects me so Duke being so low to the ground I would imagine it would affect him. Even things we can’t smell it takes awhile to go away.

About moving with dogs : i would wait after unpacking to bring him in, dogs need to smell their entire territory to feel at home and dust and asthma are a bad combo...

On another note, have you considered speaking to a doctor of functional medicine who treats the root cause of your condition and a dietician to assist you with eating plan.
