Cappadochia is often considered the best region to visit in Turkey. Cc and I spent one week and saw many of the best places in the region. Hot air balloons, pottery, whirling dervishes and great local food add to this region's appeal. We recommend visiting Selime Cathedral, Avanos, Zelve Open Air Museum, Red Valley, Rose Valley, Love Valley, the Derinkuyu Underground City, and Gumusler Monasteries among others.
