Absolutely! One of my favorite cities in Europe. We were 3 nights there but could had easily spent much longer time there! Such a great city. Love it so much! 😊
Dude major props on the excellent movie making skills! I saw all the small touches of truly skilled editing and shooting. You know what you're doing. Great job.
Thank you Jere! Your lovely video brings back a lot of fond memories of my Italian travels. I am on a diet, so it was a bit of a "torture" to watch all the fantastic food that you had during your visit! Kiitos, grazie!
Just earned a subscriber!! I love the way you film these blogs. Other RU-vidrs are just showing their faces mostly but I want to see the nature, food, people/culture and you guys are doing a great job of that! Thank you! So good! I’m about to binge watch your other videos. And CONGRATS ON ENGAGEMENT !!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I certainly prefer showing everything else than my face haha New video coming soon from Slovenia. Latest next week. Thanks for subscribing and see you then! 😊
Thank you so much! 🙏 We absolutely loved traveling and eating all the delicious food over there. Miss it now but we’ll definitely go back at some point!

Yor derserve waaaay more views🧡🧡🧡
Greetings to you both....I have watched several Italian travel videos lately, and so far this has been my favorite. I very much enjoyed the balance of scenery and food. Also, it was interesting to learn about Matera. Thanks for the fabulous video.
Absolutely stunning camera work 👏👏👏 I’m hoping to head to this area late September and staying in the area for 9/10 days then 3/4 days in Rome. Seems you were here a similar time of year to what we are thinking. Food looks wonderful 👍 I’m trying to work out the best places to have a base and Sorrento and Solerno look best. How much was the bus to Mantera? Looks amazing. In the description are they all the restaurants you went to? May use some of these.
Thanks a lot! 🙏 I would definitely recommend Napoli as one of the bases. From there you can do day trips to Sorrento, Ischia island and Amalfi as well. The bus to Matera was 7 euros per person I think. Go there, you won’t regret. Very special place in Europe! Only few of the restaurants are listed in the description unfortunately but those are all great for sure! Have a great trip in Italy! 😊
Amazing video! Knowing what you know now, how quick would it be from Sorrento to Amalfi. Would you use it as a base city or would you still chose Agerola or Amalfi. We are planning to go in late October and having trouble deciding which city to use as a base, Sorrento or Amalfi. We do plan to stay in Naples for a couple of nights but primary amount of time will be in Amalfi coast.
Thanks a lot 🙏 Sorrento is quite far from Amalfi. Probably Amalfi would be most convenient to use as a base but probably most expensive as well. Also depends what you want. Next time we might even stay in Salerno and explore other parts of Amalfi Coast which are much less touristic I believe!
when did you go? Winter? Planning to go Nov and not sure how weather is or what is OPEN esp in Amalfi.... Going to Matera but how to get there BUS from Salerno or Naple?
This was in early Oct. Matera has bus connection from Salerno and Naples. We used both as seen in this video. Salerno to Matera and then Matera to Naples.
Hi, I think it was most likely Trattoria Pizzeria Cumpa’ Cosimo. We went there completely randomly as the place looked very lively and busy. The food was great and the Nonna working there is very outgoing and goes over the tables to greet everyone. Fun place!
Very nice job! I think you have been only in the hystorical center of Naples, but you didn't go on the Vomero Hills, another importar center of Naples where you can admire a big part of the city from above.. Maybe the nextime you can go up the ''Castel Sant'Elmo'' and enjoy the view, after that i think you can put Naples in the Top 3 Cities in Europe!! Naples is also, Chiaia (Quarters by the Seaside), Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Quarter), Rione Sanità, Vomero and Posillipo (the Hills), Ischia, Capri and Procida (The Islands). The only flaw of Naples is that the city, as the entire southern italy has been subjected under a century of ''colonial policy'' by the Italian Central Government: that's why you can find especially in the biggest cities of the Southern Italy (Palermo, Bari, Catania, Napoli), so much maintenance-free hystorical buildings, you doesn't see the ''great liberty buildings'' that you can find in all over the biggest cities of the North. Moreover, no road maintenance, scarce or absent public transportation (the condemnation of our tourism even among ourselves inhabitants of southern Italy), patolocigal absence of the institutions: the central government by more than a century gives to the cities of southern italy insufficient resources to provide to essential functions, here in the south, we are completaly leaves to ourselves by 1861. Matera is the exception: behind the maintenence of the City (for example the construction of the railroad), there are European founds: that's why you could find a more cleaner city: the Europe saw the potential of Matera and gives founds to the city to externalize it. At this point paradoxically here in the south we can expect more by Europe than our State. Here in the south, we can only imagine what could have been our cities if our state hadn't treated us like a colonies. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and greetings from Naples!
Thanks for this great comment! Very interesting to read. You are right that we must have missed many parts of Napoli. That’s why we must come back some beautiful day. We still talk about this trip a lot and how much we loved Napoli! The atmosphere and food was so special! Napoli might be even our favorite city in Europe! 😀
the food is better in southern Italy and cheaper and bigger than in the north. destinations not to be missed the Amalfi coast, Positano and Capri and don't forget to bring your bikini because the water is fantastic. then from there by train you can easily reach Naples, Rome, Florence and Milan. I would start the itinerary from Amalfi (Salerno) stay a few days here to taste the cuisine that is top and take a swim in the crystal clear sea Dolce Vita
