We took a trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for our first-ever snowy adventure! We chose to go in early spring because we read it is a great time for rates & perfect snow and it was very true! We've never experienced snow like this or tried any snow activities so this was all brand new for us! We went snowmobiling in Medicine Bow Routt National Forest along the famous Rabbit Ears Pass. Later that day we enjoyed our first hot springs at Strawberry Park Hot Springs and it was unbelievable! The next day we tried our hand at snowboarding and man was it an adventure! We got our butts kicked, but got better as the day went on. Our last full day in Steamboat we did a short hike to a frozen waterfall at Fish Creek Falls. That evening we tried snowboarding again - & again got our butts kicked! Meg had an epic & scary wipeout! The last day we explored Steamboat and made our way back to Denver for the fly home. We LOVED our trip to Steamboat Springs because we were able to see and do so much while enjoying a beautiful town! Highly recommend exploring this historic Colorado town!
