The fight against Sans was great and all, but that one Supernova attack that plays a 2-minute long animation of him slam dunking your corpse and shattering the backboard was a bit unnecessary
Sansseroph It makes more sense, plus it fits the font theme. I know it’s not spelled the same way as the actual font, but that’s the point. It’s a play on the font name.

I can't believe I sat and listened to this whole thing EDIT: After about a year of first making this comment, I now want to hear Megalovania but you're fighting Sephiroth (Megalovania but in OWA soundfont) just to complete this.
@@xtriel I think there were little flares of Megalovania in the first 30 seconds or so, right after the obvious one. Plus, just because it’s a “MIDI slap” doesn’t mean zero effort was made to create it- not everyone knows how to use and use MIDI files and swap soundfonts. I know I don’t. They also had to make the thumbnail with the game title swap, which is more effort than putting up a picture of Sans with the Masamune or something. So I wouldn’t knock it completely.
@@caseys2698 copypasting the same 10 notes doesnt change much, the uploader literally has a comment saying "I ain't pretending like this took a ton of effort", and the thumbnail is just the monster friend font centered in front of a black background.
Who would actually win though, Sans or Sephiroth? (I I don't mean in Smash, I mean like in a Death Battle.) Although, actually thinking about it, Sephiroth would easily win. He is crazy power AND crazy smart, which is a deadly combination. Plus, Sans has weak health.
Except Sans has some nasty attacks as well and has the quickest feet basically ever. Can’t take damage if you don’t get hit. I could really see it going either way. There both ridiculously powerful beings in their own way. Plus, Sans can just not give Sephiroth a chance to attack since that is technically canon
@@chordalharmony But do keep note, Sans will get tired eventually and Sephiroth is relentless. But it COULD go either way. And now for another match-up. Sephiroth VS Walpurgistnacht.
@@chordalharmony He *could* but it'd not work the same here, depending on what mode you play the game in normally. If the mode is the recommended one, then he couldn't just wait and do nothing, not even in any menu, since ATB is a thing.
Sephiroth, easy. Sans is good at dodging and is relentless with his attacks, sure. But Sephiroth is far more powerful than a kid with a knife or an evil flower. Just like in their death battle with Vergil, they could use their magic to heal themselves and their illusions to distract and overwhelm Sans. All that is on top of Sephiroth’s other magic attacks and his ultimate technique... Yeah, Sans isn’t going to be able to dodge Supernova. I mean it’s cinematic has it wipe out the solar system. With his 1 HP, Sans is going to suffer from more than just a sunburn.
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 Actually, here are a few notes. - Sans dodges thanks to meta. The only way for him to dodge something is by being meta and essentially doing something that would be seemingly obvious to anyone outside the game. Notably, just moving to the side. An AoE spell would be pretty efficient here, or just breaking meta back. - He does have 1 HP...in the code. Canonically, it was never specified. Though it's meaningless; US Supernova deals % damage, so it's not possible to oneshot with it, but can combo into a KO. Aside from that, I also agree about Sephiroth having an advantage here.

This just makes me think of a being that is ever patient and ever forgiving sparing the earth for its past atrocities, and every horrendous act done by human hands... But one day, the last straw is placed, and the camel's back is broken. There is no more room for forgiveness, no more room for patience. Mankind has gone too far, and there's no turning back anymore, so, the only solution remaining is to just destroy it all. If anything remains, it won't just be the earth that pays for it, but hey, man did nothing but ask for it... This isn't just karma... It's retribution.
