Heys Guys, I liked the granny the best! Increasing the hook size would make it more drapey. Also washing w/fabric soft ner would help n drying it in the dryer... Lovely yarn... Thanks a bunch!!! ❤

I mostly make blankets so I only buy wash and dry yarn. That is a very pretty yarn color,my favorite sample is the wave pattern. I really enjoy these videos, it’s good to see how yarns work up. 🧶💜🙏🏻

I like the "V" stitch.........also, when you are talking about machine washing and drying...I saw a video on you tube a few months back where the woman did wash and dry the Big Twist yarn..it didn't shrink, fade and was just fine. But the label did state "lay flat to dry".........

I like them ALL, but I would say 1st, Baby Ripple Stitch, 2nd, Granny Square, then the last one, then the 1st one and then the single crochet one. As you say, it's amazing the difference! Thank you so much for taking the trouble to do these comparisons, it really helps ALOT! I like the ripple. I think it makes the dual colors pop. And, I agree, I just don't buy yarn that can't be machine washed and dried unless it's something really special. Most of my makes are for grandkids. And their moms are too busy to be messing with "lay flat to dry." I actually feel it would be unkind to make something and expect my kids to do that. Yarn companies need to get that message.

Hi, guys. This video was alot of fun to watch. I think it is a great idea to make several swatches using the same yarn. You're so right, the swatches looked so different depending on the stitch pattern & the size of the swatch. I am super dull & boring 😄, so I didn't really like the yarn. It is too bright for my taste, but fun to look at it anyway. I would love to see you do the same format using Premier Spice Shop yarn (maybe using the colorway Tumeric or Curry). Bright colors are fun but a lot of us are more geared toward neutrals like earth tones. Maybe do videos on both brights and more conservative colors as well. ❤❤

Have you done or are you able to try this on Herschners afghan yarn (#2). It comes as 8 different multis, but the color swatch shows knitted samples, I think. I'd really like to see in a video how these beautiful color combos look crocheted. I think this idea of showing how some of these yarns look in different stitches is wonderful!

I liked the wavy sample the best but, I do like the granny square sample as well. The yarn is a bit busy for my taste. However, this video is above all others for me because it truly shows how the same yarn could be so different. I have tried some yarns and didn't like how they looked, I didn't think to just try a different stitch. Please continue to do these types of videos in the future. I think we all could benefit from any yarn being shown in different stitch patterns. Thank you both ❤

I like the way the wave one looks which surprised me since I typically use sold colors when the pattern has so much texture. I do really like the granny square sample and I can picture it with a solid border/washing in between, can pick one color from all the various ones and each blanket would be different. Love this 5 sample idea especially when you show all 5 together at the end. Keep up the good work!

Another great vid! I liked all the samples but esp the longer one with more of the color striping. Well, I make a lot of blankets for babies but usually for the car seats bc parents are usually so unprepared to take them home from the hospital where I volunteer. Whether in warm or cold weather the parents love the smaller size for the car seats bc the blankets don’t get all twisted and can be easily handled. If you only have 3 skeins of that yarn it would be purrfect 28-30” wide; just a suggestion.

Hello Ocean Girl! Usually I knit or crochet my blankets 28-30” wide so that the blanket will either drape over the side edge or get tucked in. The length is about 4” longer than the width bc parents like to pull the blanket over the baby for the sun or wind .. so 32-34” long. I’ve found that the small blankets also work great in the strollers. Have a blessed day🙏☮️
