This year has not been a great year for growing a vegetable garden here in my village - there has been too much rain during spring, June and July, and then no rain for more than 2 months. My garden has also suffered because of hail this summer. Despite these not so favorable conditions the garden has offered me a satisfying crop and I have also learned a lot about gardening this year. Part of my garden journey and story is also building my dream greenhouse. I will share that story with you in my next video. Growing a vegetable garden is an art that requires much time, work, skills and knowledge. I am far from being an artist at it, but I hope I will become a skillful gardener one day. Some of you might be wondering who is the man that helped me with the heavy grape vine trellis - he is one of my relatives, lives in the same village and is also the man that taught me how to weld. I am very grateful for what I have learned from him and I thank him again for his precious help. I also wish to thank my beloved mama, the guardian angel of my garden, whose advice I always ask for when caring for my garden. I have inherited her love for plants and gardening and I am very grateful for that. El clima a estado muy alborotado acá donde vivo a nevado ,fuertes lluvias por semanas ,viento ,granizo, muchos agricultores han perdido sus cosechas y la cereza se echo a perder estamos a punto de comenzar verano ,la primavera, solo lluvia y nieve ,esperemos que todo se mejore con la naturaleza nunca se sabe 😊

❤... Завидую "по белому": раскованности , спокойствию, трудолюбию... Извините, человек я новый ... присоединилась недавно, но помимо желания трудиться, надо "кучу" всяких инструментов (а это финансирование), да и просто профессиональных навыки... У нас , на Урале, наступила весна, когда она "справится" со снегом...,у меня появится возможность поехать в сад( место, где у меня нет борьбы за урожай)...там : Сосновый лес, зеленая травка..., воздух, пение птиц... Ещё раз говорю СПАСИБО за полученное удовольствие 🙏 🌹💃

Even with your bad weather you still had a great crop. Will you be canning some for winter? Again this summer I lost everything as temperatures range from 108 - 111F for most of the summer. Can't wait to see your green house.

Hello Joanna. I have to say I am amazed by all you have done. I have been following your home transformation since the beginning and loved all the personal touches you made inside the house. The cellar floor and wall had me hooked and then all the garden nooks and iron work you made stunning. Then the rock gardens and quaint little spaces just kept getting better and better. Now your garden wow. I have also started my first year of gardening in TX and truthfully it has been very challenging with the different climate I had grown up in living in CT but I made due as best I could. Now looking at your garden I am taken by some of the ideas you implemented and plan on using them in next years garden. I wish you lived closer lol I can see us becoming great friends. I am also a baker, cook and builder of things. Although I have never tried and welding, very impressive, you go girl. Well thank you for sharing your journey and all the experience you have, it has encouraged me to redo my garden and who knows, maybe do some remodeling indoors as well. Be blessed.
