Probably the HARDEST thing about starting locs are the naysayers. The people that say ur hair would look better in ANY OTHER style, SMDH! Im thankful for these GORGEOUS videos and IG pix that keep me focused! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
I finally decided to get locs in the summer of 2020, your video is one of the many videos I'm watching to confirm what I really want, I love your hair😊
I loved this video more than any of the others I've seen. Simply because EVERY picture was relatable to every phase of my transition. Thank you so much for this. I already knew I wasn't alone in this journey but it helps to see this and help with embracing and appreciating every aspect of this. Thanks again
You're gorgeous and your locs fit you perfectly! Just started my loc journey two weeks ago and looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing your progress!
Your hair is gorgeous. I love how much fullness and body it has. It has grown so beautifully. Monthly pictures/videos definitely help to see the progress over time. Happy one year locaversary!
Wow your locs are beautiful. I just started my loc journey March 9, 2019. I'm also new to this loc community. I'm subbing to as many locd hair people as I can with my similar hair texture. This will definitely be a challenge for me from being a 4c natural for the past 10 years till now locd. Super stoked. A lot of my family members don't agree with me but, I don't care anymore. I'm ready.
Apryl I Happy 1 month girl!!! I started mine March 24, 2019 so I’ll be 1 month in 3 days! Im right behind. I’m really excited for the journey. There are a couple of people that don’t see why I’m doing this but it’s not about them so 🤷🏾♀️. They can have their opinions lol. Are you documenting your journey anywhere?
I started mines in October going into 8months locked at the roots but my ends are curly trying to brace them a lot of stages you have to Thur with straight hair but you have think positive it will get there
Thank you for sharing you are absolutely beautiful. New subbie here! 🎉 Your locs look very similar to my texture so this 12 month journey looks a lot like how mine is coming along. I’m only shy of the 4 month mark but I already see the growth and changes from documenting myself on TikTok. You ladies give us baby loc ladies hope and life! ❤ Thanks for sharing and now I will check out your recent videos for even more inspiration. 🎉😊
I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel! Thank you so much for sharing your journey like this. I see now that there is no real "ugly stage". Month two was hilarious! But you made it work. Adorable styles!! You are definitely #LocGoals 😍😍
Beautiful! I started my journey 1 month ago and we have similar hair texture... I’m so excited now, and your length now is my ideal length, I don’t want them any longer than that. Thanks for sharing 😘
I so love your locs and enjoyed watching this video. This gives me hope and to keep with my loc journey. I’m four months in and will continue. Blessing to you
The song choice (Free by Deniece Williams) is so appropriate! I feel so authentically me with my hair loc’d . 8 months in 🤗 thanks for sharing your beautiful journey with us
Woooow😍😍😍 I loved your 1 year journey Your hair is so thick and nice I recently had my locs for 7 years and decided to start over so they could be thicker currently on my 2nd month with my 2nd batch
Thank you for showing ALL the stages of your Lock growth. Im in my 8th month. Some of the you tubes only show one or two pics of the first unpleasant months of growth and lots of pics of the end result which kind of creates frustration. But its all good. Hair growth as well as locking is a waiting game. Doesnt matter what guck you buy to put in your hair you still have to wait atleast a year before you can breath again. The other day i was laughing at myself because every commercial I find myself in the bathroom taking a look at my Locks. If I continue to do that they will never grow☺
Hi sister Soko. I'm curious to know how you parted your hair when you started your loc journey. It's beautiful but I just can't seem to figure it out. Please help
what I love and adore about her locs is the fact that they actually do not resemble locks for example if she decided to pull of her hair back in a pony tail it would look as if she decided to go natural and it paid off with long hair (no locs)
Omg you are absolutely gorgeous. Now let me say I seen a video where u was feeling discouraged but im so glad you stuck in there your locs are beautiful
I have my hair into coils .Its been a month some of my coils have buds.My coils are to the bottom of my ear.I get Looking at your video gives my patience! Love your journey!
Beautiful Locs! My best advice for new loc wearers, STOP TOUCHING YOUR HAIR! I know it’s irresistible but it disturbs the locing pattern and makes them frizz more. Only touch to groom them. Enjoy the journey!
I’ll be 8 months in my loc journey in 2 days and I am so ready to soak my hair in conditioner 😔 I hate the constant dry feeling. But I’m ready for them the look like locs at the end and only have new growth.
Your locs are all the way juicy 😍😍😍 I'm 5 weeks into my journey and can't wait for them to flourish! I need to know tho sis, your lipstick at 3:19 what is it???
I love your locs. They are beautiful. Please share the name of the last song in this video. I have watched this video over and over again. You are truly an inspiration.
Your hair is so beautiful. Just when I thought I wanted to start of with the coils then BOOM your two strand twist got me thinking. What's ideal for in between thick and thin curly hair?. Anybody...
