New Subscriber, just came across your channel. You seem cool man 👍 So I’m looking to get into Trucking and been thinking about CR England….would you recommend them for me? I’m single no kids no bills looking to get into Trucking and make that money…I’m in Southwest Arkansas so if I choose CR England what school is closest to me to get my training and CDL
Hi OTC, Thank You. CR England is a great company with a lot of history. Great place to work all over the U.S.A. Regarding your location your best bet would be start with OTR in my opinion and see what routes are in your area one you're hired. Go to www.crengland.com , apply, get ready for a call, and let me know how I can help along the way. By the way not even asking you to put me down as a referral, unless you want to split the referral bonus once you deliver your first load. Email me. katzfx@gmail.com Good luck! Best, Louis
@@LouisKatz Thanks for replying back, I got your email address and will email when I get time, I have a few questions I want to ask you instead of a recruiter because you have been out there on the road Trucking. I’m trying to decide between CFI and CR England….I watched your video and you kind of got me looking at CR England now and you seem like a cool guy 👍
How is that company and their pay for rookie drivers I heard a lot of crazy scary stories nothing good LOL I was thinking about going through them but every RU-vid channel I ran into they had nothing good to say you're the first person that I ran into that was happy about this company thinking about going to Swift or prime
I attempted a reach out and application with them about 2 months ago - and the recruiter surprisingly told me that they were not hiring in my area (1.5 hours northeast of Atlanta, GA) REALLY?
@@LouisKatz well I was open to any option but they just would not even hire anywhere in Georgia which I thought was very strange for such a large company with a terminal in Conley Georgia. Thanks for the advice
Did my first 7 months with C.R. England. Been to that yard twice. My only problem with C.R. England is they pay is garbage but my mentor was cool and my driver manager was cool. My pay starting off with no contract with about $700-$900 a month. To be away from my family for 30-45 days for that pay wasn't worth it to me. I went to J.b.hunt and get paid $1000-$1400 a week doing local now.
Got my license with cr england Fontana, was told regional western states yet was sent over the road. Went on my mentorship and left the company after the first week of mentorship. Didn’t even make it to upgrade. Found a local job and made 900 weekly without driving 60plus hours.
Good luck, get ready for the test of your life. 3 people in a cab. For a month. With a mentor , who has the nerves to bitch you out, while they sit and get paid for your miles.
@@LouisKatz yes, I do realize that Crengland does work for a lot of people. My Main problem was that I spent the majority time waiting on freight. And feel that I wasn’t paid for a lot of downtime and really couldn’t do much about it, until that year was up , and 5000. For that training,!!! I fell shafted. Good luck.
