Thank you!! I got a similar lamp and the instructions were terrible. I watched a couple other videos but yours was the best by far. Super helpful. Kept me from going crazy. Thank you :)
Thanks for this video, it made the assembly of this lamp a breeze. The instructions that came with the lamp were difficult to see so your easy to follow instructions were very, very helpful. Thank you.
Thank You Phil!! I was having a bit of difficulty, putting mine up. You made it SO, much more clear. My directions, had me working from top to bottom(??) Thank you for your clarity.
You saved me! I got this lamp for my teen daughter this past Christmas but just got around to putting it together and she either lost the instructions or they were missing. Either way, it was looking bleak. Your video was very clear and concise. Thanks so much!
This is the second time I’ve used this instructional video, and I’m awaiting the arrival of my third floor lamp, and I will use your video for a third time. Your video, your assessment, and your instructions are invaluable. Will you please make a comparable video with details on how to solve world peace? 😉 Thank you again.
My guy! I just got this 50% off ... opened box and have been staring at parts and instructions for 10 minutes and almost regretted buy. God bless youtube and God bless you! Now I out it together in 3 minutes.
From a safety standpoint, sure. Most contemporary light bulbs that use LED or fluorescent technology don't get hot enough to cause a risk of fire concern. Just note that the shade is fabric, so any residue from the sticker may leave a mark or stain on the shade if your remove it or the adhesive wears out and it falls off. Not sure if there are replacement shades available if that happens.
I don't have a tool to measure them, but my best guess is a metric size 6. You can take one of the good screws to a big box hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot and you can either measure it yourself in the fasteners aisle, or ask for assistance and they'll get you the right spec.
Great lamp/shelf. Got it when my daughter went to college but she doesn't need it now. It's a bit wobbly on the "wood" parts. Is there anyway to repurpose it? I was thinking of somehow strengthening the wood and making a shelf for her bathroom. No idea how. Another thought was making it into a cat condo; again no idea how. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It has sentimental value for me.
It's possible that the double sided screws could just use a little tightening up. You may have to mostly disassemble and re-assemble it to do that, but it may work out the "loose" wood problem, especially if it's the vertical bars that are giving you the issue. For me, I actually needed a shorter light, so I completely removed one of the levels from the middle, and it's a perfect side table light.
You can buy replacement electric cords at Amazon: geni.us/6SNxXw [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] however, you will need to rewire it to the light bulb. This video may help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mrf5zAYN5g8.html
This lamp takes bulbs with E27/E26 base types (the threaded end). A19 refers to the bulb shape, so as long as your A19 bulb also has an E27 base, the lamp will accept it as well.
This is a long shot but I ordered this and it came with no parts, I suck at hardware stuff and my instructions don’t specify types of screws, I want to buy them but can’t 😂 can anybody help
Lolol. Most folks usually don't notice because the videos aren't really about me, but that's a great catch! While most of my videos appear to be edited from a longer single-take, I sometimes film in chunks over several days or weeks, or if I get sidetracked sections of footage could be recorded much later than when I originally started. In some of my videos, I've got different haircuts, outfits, facial hair etc. nearly every other cut-scene 😂
