OneDrive Personal Vault - extra security for your important files 

Can you put the entire OneNote folder in personal vault?

Im actually using the vault for my important screen shots, but theres no easy way to gather the screen shots from the mess that is the onedrive gallery. Also theres not alot of info on how to remove the files for when i need them. So it seems pointless.

how much GB can we storege inide the Personal Vault?

Per some research, I understand that the key distinction between OneDrive, and OneDrive Personal Vault is security, specifically that files in Personal Vault are encrypted at-rest in the Microsoft cloud and in-transit to your device. For further protection on mobile devices, Microsoft recommends that you enable encryption on your iOS or Android device as well.

I"m a little late to this video, as I'm just learning my way through OneDrive, after a clean install of Windows 10. This was very helpful, and I'm going to use personal vault. Thanks again.

FYI: Backup software will not work for your OneDrive personal vault folder if it's on your local drive. I tried ACRONIS to set a non-scheduled backup from my personal vault and it would not find the OneDrive Cloud folder. Acronis said Microsoft doesn't allow backup programs to work with your personal vault if it's on the cloud. "The use of reparse points for that data will prevent ATI from using it." (ATI is Acronis True Image). I wanted to have my sensitive docs on the cloud and still do backups of them locally for security (just in case). But unfortunately it's not possible. Any additional info on this subject would be helpful.

If we dont use the Vault, is there any way to get rid of? I dont use it so I would like to delete or hide this folder to clean the list, but if I just delete it, it reappears

hi question i see a personal vault on my one drive now i dont use one drive any more but i see activity on it. could my computer be hacked? very concerned. I never set up a personal vault

Is it encrypted?

Is this store in the cloud as well? also, how could a family member get access to it in their personal computer?
