Just been watching the documentary on Netflix, I am from Denmark but living in Spain. I am absolutely in shock over the way they have been censored by their own government, thought Australia was a modern country that was embracing all cultures and freedom of speech. This is just crazy. Keep doing what you do, love from Spain
Yeah it was disgusting how much disregard there was for what most modern countries believe is basic human rights. To raid a families home with no warrant or even as little as probable cause. To see the clear racial divide between the two sides. Disturbing.
@@hermanziff7723 they aren’t promoting that lifestyle anymore because the police said if they don’t change their lyrics then they won’t be allowed to perform so hopefully the police don’t shut their shows down anymore once their new music is out you know what I mean? 🤔
No we are not. Freedom means not promoting harm to anyone else. Freedom means your safe to walk the streets with out being worried about what will happen to you. Them guys are all about Violence. Jumping people. I bet The parents wanted better for them.
@@traviscrawford2504 you don’t get touched unless you’ve done something to deserve it, but they don’t do that shit anymore anyway they have changed their ways so yeah you can’t judge someone from their past they’re are different people today .
Yeah to fuel violence. They talking cap. Anyone can see these drill formulas. Your stupid mentality is what keeps you interested. How is talking about drama and violence cool?
@@mightyhabib1182huh? You cannot compare the hoods to these guys. 2 different styles of music. One four is not hip hop. They are drill. They rap about violent crimes, drugs and sex. It’s not good and most certainly not Aussie hip hop.
@@xdd543 I don't think it's 'promoting gang violence', their music is a form of art and they express themselves by telling their story through music. Doreen 'you sound like a Doreen' maybe you go find shit that interests you 🤷♂️.
@@xdd543 they're telling their stories & expressing themselves through music, not inciting it. you can see in their near recent music videos, they clearly state they don't condone what they do, it's just what they got sucked into growing up. the authorities just want a reason to stop the ever growing aus hip hop scene🤷 and plus, they're one of the only 'drill' groups being heavily harassed by police due to their stature. everyone else in the same genre can do shows fine it seems like.
@@ItzSykadelic I used to think the same but seeing it influence young men in my community, the people I know and watched grow I honestly think Drill was probably the worst sub genre of Hip Hop to be introduce here. They may not incite violence but they damn sure glorify it. And sure, some of their newer songs seem to not condone what they've done. It just doesn't help they also release newer songs saying the opposite.
@johnalmari2368 John lad, you have near responded on every comment in the section lol 😂... like we are all happy, but you are there with bells an whistles on lad lol
@johnalmari2368 sounds like you are from the onefour stomping ground , if so, I'm sure they appreciate the support. I'm just hoping this means new music finally 🙏
Really excited for this. seems like you guys have quite the production value behind it. lets just hope it helps you finally break free from all the bullshit
Shock horror, pearl clutchers getting freaked out by music. They did it in the 50s, 60’s, 70s, 80s, 90s (&don’t forget their whole argument about video games making people violent). Well done boys for speaking your truth. Keep it up
I was in police training before covid , after seeing how they treated people(disrespectful, aggressive, lies, handing out fines to the poor and minority communities) I releaise this is not a place i want to for work. Now studying Law and helping out the community. After watching this doco I'm not suprised how the raptor squid goes on. Makes me sick that people act, lie and harnessing families. I wish the best to OneFour rap group. Only let GOD judge you 🤴🏻
These guys grew up on noodles and bread, heaps of american gangster rappers like nba youngboy rap about how they grew up poor eating noodles and bread and that is the same as these guys, they jus want more better stuff in their lives and they found a way to have more better stuff then they have had growing up and you can’t hate on that buddy .
@@johnalmari2368 no hate but when we compare quality of lives here vs America we have it wayyyyy easier. Some places in America they don’t even get noodles or bread with gun violence everywhere with parents cracked out with no free health care so when they resort to their underbelly they have less of a choice. Over here we have beautiful beaches, free health care and no guns, yeah we have a few guns but not as many as American. No matter how much you struggle here, when you think you have to resort to crime just remember you live in one of the cosiest countries in the world. If you still act hard it’s out of over-romanticising American struggle thinking it’s cool
I'm so excited for this bro! Just saw it come up on Netflix, can't wait for it to come out. Bro ik when this comes out so many ppl r gonna be fake fans
What ONEFOUR are doing with their music is no different to going to watch a violent movie at the cinemas. The onus shouldn’t be on the artist themselves but on those that are fans of the art they love. ONEFOUR are using their music to escape leave that criminal stuff behind them but it seems the NSW police want them to remain criminals by taking away their freedom of expression.
