The card backup is a VERY bad idea. This completely destroys the point of a hardware wallet. It literally turns your expensive hardware wallet into an ordinary software wallet. The sole purpose of a hardware wallet is to generate your seed and keep it isolated within the device so that it never leaves the device. That's the whole idea. What you're doing is taking out the seed from the secure chip of the hardware wallet, putting it on the phone (negating the whole security idea), and writing it to the card. Please don't do it and don't suggest it to others. That's how people lose money by listening to very bad advice. Don't follow the bad ideas just because they look fancy and cool 😁
@@SVRNMoney Irrelevant. If the seed leaves the hardware wallet and enters the phone, this is it. The whole point of a hardware wallet is that the seed is generated on the secure chip and stays on the secure chip never leaving the device. To copy it to the card, you need to take it out of the chip, place it on the phone (the app), and then copy to the card.
