@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR I didn't sleep on my one . I nodded off for five minutes and got awoken by the fire igniting itself . Scared the CRA out of me. Then that was it , I stayed awake nursing the fire until a few minutes to seven am . The movement of keeping the fire going with twigs kept the boredom down and my ass warm . .
@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V2sWqCEr6-k.html My version . If I did not have a fire capability I would walk all night . . The Ferro rod ignition with no prepared ignition source is part of the challenge. I think in summer an all night fire is a bad idea . It will bring attention and no doubt ignite the ground . Why not wait until October to run it again . . You don't want to get sick . . This challenge we only did it to see if we could The following link is part of the origin ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nyQqIs5zFOM.html
The spikey green shell things that were falling look like Horse Chestnut cases, we used to call them conkers. Probably a squirrel is breaking them open and taking the nut to bury ready for Winter x
@@Sticksoutdoors i love it without anything next time i need to choose a better place and way to sleep but loved every minute different when not relying on things and seeing and feeling everything around without tent tarp or bivvy cheers for watching sticks 😄👌👌
@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR it is definitely a different feeling than camping out a night 🤣🤣 it kind of makes me want to do the challenge again lol All the challenges on one night survival channel are still open for edits if you wanted to do a collaboration.. check them out so you got a better idea
The way I done this challenge was as if I was being hunted and couldn't use light fire sound smell and not leaving sign for trackers having only water on me 😊
Great effort bud :) hard work without the moral boost of a fire! even a small fire makes it much more comfortable and takes your mind off it. awesome job 👍🏕🦫🐿
yeah just couldn’t sleep choose the wrong tree and couldn’t get comfortable i moved but by then my back was killing so thought best just get home so left at 4am got home with no light at 4:30 sorry guys wish i stayed till it got lighter it was just getting light
You done pukka it was a proper survive the night challenge You was unaware it was dusk till dawn that was due to you being challenged on a live chat but you done 11 hours with nothing not even a torch well done a great effort 💪
@@Sticksoutdoors thanks i got the bug now camping in tent is too easy 😂just been catching up on videos on your survival channel i only subscribed today when you said putting video on it watched a few great idea 👌👌
Well done, fair play to you for attempting to survive the night, pity you didn't have a more comfortable place to lie down,i would of got in behind a bush or something with a bit more cover,at least you experienced staying out most of the night with just water.
@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR if you can , edit your description to reference the channel , as the rules will get lost without the ref . . Put @onenightsurvival and #onenightsurvival into you description. This links all the vids for future attempts and your full version . Looking forward to watching the rest . If you can some how get to a point to share an email address without we can give you the edited version to upload to your own channel . Normally we wait until we have four videos from four parties, . You send the link unlisted to sticks , we edit all four into a 20 minute version show casing each person's approach to the challenge. But it's summer time now , and we have not been promoting it . Does that make sense. ? So your video will be just on its own . If things get busier towards winter . We might even make a compilation . Just be aware we don't want to make money , sell you , own your footage . It is all about inspiration. We do the editing for free . To motivate this challenge in others . Regards . Owen
You apologised for stopping at 4 . I think given the circunstances with keaving early , the dog etc . You did the best you could do . My back was pretty stiff with the cold , and we were 12 hours of darkness . . You will do this again i know you will . Now you know whats involved . When it got to 4am that was the nost difficukt part , the hardest . You took to walking , i think thats ok . If i was really in this situation i discussed eith sticks that id walk too . . In my estimation . You survived the night brother !! Well done
@@ELUSIVEDARTMOOR You can start an hour before sunset . You can leave at sunrise . . You can bring one meal . As much water as you want , whatever lights you need for camera work . No tools , no saws , no hatchets , no twine , no tent, no beer ( teddy bears ) I call beer and alcohol a teddy bear . It is the loneliness and boredom without beer that makes it a bit more difficult , . But we always advise having these items in a bag just in case you need them for safety .
@@lifesahobby i thank you yeah i left home at 3:30 pm got at woods about 4pm and left at 4am so about 12 hours i’ll keep the details so i know for next time 👌👌
It's a pity that the second half has no visual . You were making a video 😂, but you I suppose didn't realize what was fully involved . So it's a sort of dry run . At least you had the presence of mind to record the audio . The owl was great . Difficulty level was increased by having no light at all . I will give this a lash at trying to find the best bits of your night and edit it down to 10 minutes .
@@lifesahobby ok thanks yeah i had no head torch so wasn’t sure how my phone would pick it up sometimes it looked like on phone was ok but it was just too dark in woods sorry 🤦♂️🤦♂️i’ll have to use light next time
