I like how the beautiful voices sometimes get interrupted by harsh noises, but even they are in some sense magical. It reminds me very much of life in general. Definitely one of my all time favorites.
this is my fav song of 2014. Its so good, its literally perfect for me. i often listen to it in the morning and stare out the window, almost like im in a trance. when the music stops i feel like ive been floating out of my body for the last 7 minutes. sometimes hard to find words to describe how music makes us feel lol thanks OPN !
metaphorically, you've been here for your entire life. you're already dead in the steamed rocks timeline. hope you've enjoyed this one-life trial software.
Beautiful! I am re.discovering the music within myself. It's outside and inside! Permeates the space experiences through time. One time, oneohtrix here, in a vulcanic island in the middle of the Atlantic. Will be quite an experience in the misty fog!
She felt like a steamed rock and/or mountain while listening to 'Physical Memory' and 'Immanence', in time-lapse, every second was century. Magical non-human consciousness emerging from meditation and appropriate music. John C. Lilly's most favorite agent supporting in the background.
42ndbestnameever I realize that sometimes it can be hard to recognize sarcasm on the internet, but I'm really surprised that you didn't catch it there.
Malfactor chan I would say he is channeling more of Brian Eno in this track. Specifically "Music for Airports, 2/1". I'm sure there's some Philip Glass in there, but the title struck me as a jab to Eno almost instantaneously.
The organ part is very similar to Ryuichi Sakamoto’s andata. Funny thing is that he actually ‘remodeled’ the track and replaced the organ part with his own usual juno leads lol
