I am not going to stop using my one plus 5 till it either stops functioning well or it gets stolen😭 or something else... This right here is close to my heart... My first phone ever and I'm just so sooo thankful and happy.... ❤️🥺
Hi , My OnePlus 5 is still working amazingly since 4 y , its fast and smooth ,but I would ask u ,did u update ur oneplus5 to android 11 or even10 cuz mine is 9
i see phones in 2021 & most of them still offer less than whats already in 1+5. It lightweight, handy, superfast, still good battery backup, robust, amazing touch response time, fast charger..i dont see a reason to upgrade.🤦
Using the 7T after upgrading from the 5, which I still use as my backup phone. Dare I say it, the 5 performs better than my 7T in terms of speed. It's holding up really well after 5 years of owning the phone.
I still use mine today, it's feels amazing in the hand after holding the one plus 7pro all day, although it's just s second device on the WiFi I will never stop using it until the apps used on it dont work anymore
Don't. Unless it lags. It's the slimmest, good battery, decent camera, you can use it for another 4 yrs without hiccups. My screen broke, I replaced it rather than buying a new phone.
well, if you haven't already got a new Phone. I would suggest you to try some other brand like Samsung or Google. I'm saying this because my OnePlus 8T is a huge disappointment for me. The UI has so many bugs. But, if you want to get a OnePlus phone, I'll suggest you to wait for the 9T.
After almost 5 years and numerous falls and scratches, mine finally died. Best phone I ever had, I got a redmi because I needed a phone quickly and it is so much worse... A flagship of 2017 is still a flagship. OLED+Battery+Housing set me around 55€ back, so it is indeed going to be repaired. It is so outstanding... I payed 300€ for it, and it lasted long with outstanding performance. The love of my life!
I must say this might be one of the last true flagships from OnePlus. Many phones that came afterwards. Like maybe after 6t themselves became overpriced flagships.
I still have my Oneplus 5 It has worked flawlessly even though the cameras is not that great. It has been 4 years so it's time for an upgrade. The Pixel 6 Pro seems promising so that might be my next phone depending on reviews.
What do you think about battery? The quality of the battery remains the same even after 3 years the phone waits in stock to be sold? This is my only concern...before rebuying oneplus 5.
I still have this for close to 6 years, and use it next to my new pixel 7 pro. It's my go-to! It has been the 'Nokia' of recent years... Sent from my very own OP5
My oneplus 5 is over 5 years old, I've dropped it several times, in the bathtub, on concrete, once it got lost outside in the rain for a whole night. It still works even though the battery is really bad now, so I'm thinking about replacing it, if that's possible. I bought a second-hand IPhone 13 Pro, but returned it because it just didn't feel like that big of an upgrade. The oneplus 5 is an amazing phone considering it being released over 5 years ago!❤
I changed it myself, just from some eBay parts. Most companies are probably trying to get rid of the parts. The screen and battery are the only weird ones, with screens possibly being aftermarket and batteries either not working that well or being defective. The backs though, those are easy to find because not a lot of companies need to produce those, so you’re almost always going to find OEM. Just the camera glass might be aftermarket. Also I did a video on the Pixel Experience on this phone, if you wanna check that out
I'm a fan of compact phones, been using Xperia with LineageOS but thinking of replacement as it's starting to lag. Found OnePlus 5 for under £100, I like that it has 8G ram, wondering if it will be ok.
Please tell me about the performance, camera quality, and gaming experience with this phone in 2022...is it good? Or, I should go for a latest Budget phone... Please tell me sir I'm in a serious confusion...
I still have mine using it everyday! running pixel experience 11! but AT&T is dropping 3g support in February of 2022 :( so I'm looking at the oneplus 8t
@@RealWorldReview I have a 5T also and it works just fine. Purchased new on OnePlus websites when it was 1st introduced. Never had any problems. Was thinking of upgrading, but after reading so many great comments, I've decided to keep it for another year or two.
I'm watching this video because when my iPhone X becomes 4 years old (so in January 2022) I want to switch to the upcoming OnePlus, but I want it to last 4 years on latest software, even by modding it when OP stops support, hence why I'm searching about this phone from 4 years ago and how it holds up compared to an iPhone 7 :D
