EXCELLENT VIDEO! Just the DIY video I was looking for. I have been using my OnePlus 7T Pro (running 24/7) since January 2020... not once has it been off. Using it for exactly 2 years now (heavy user here 😅), battery is showing its age. I plan to replace the battery for a new one in about two months.
@@trevorng2786 GREAT 👍🏿. Personally, the phone has been insanely good. I cannot be any happier because I have loved every experience with it. It was one of the very best phones to own when it released... I have recommended it to friends during the two years; YES, it got succeeded multiple times in its class, but, it was decidedly affordable for its high-end specs. When I bought the phone two years ago, my plan was to replace it in early 2022 with the OnePlus 10 Pro, but its overall impressive performance and OnePlus' official support for the device ending October 2022, I have extended usage to early 2023; so battery replacement is on the horizon. Let me know how the battery swap process went for you.
Great video! I ordered all the tools I need. I have a question though. I have a regular oneplus 7 pro and saw that the oneplus 7t pro has a bit more capacity. I can get both OEM. Will the 7T pro work in my 7pro?
Thank you for this video. I'm going to replace the battery in my 7t Pro Mclaren edition. I noticed that both the original 4085mAh (BLP745) and a 4920mAh (non-brand) are sold. Do you think there would be any problem in using the larger capacity battery than what was originally in the phone?
I just discovered my OnePlus battery is swelling because it is constantly charging. Dumb but that is what did it. I use the phone for work only and its not my daily but I'm not ready to part with it. This will help if I can get all the parts, especially the battery to fix it. Thanks for this video.
Not sure if anyone will come across this, but I just did this with my printer bed at 80C and it worked well! I didn't have the suction cup tool but my fingernail + credit card was enough to get the cover off haha
Yes, it can go up to that, but do not heat for like 2-5 minutes straight..Because sometimes glue comes out easily and some are not..Step by step will be the best.
@@DIYGeardo i didn't understand i replaced it from the OnePlus service center now i feel vibration from the back sid of the phone while increasing volume
The battery is not compatible whit your device please use the compatible ones....kya karu kesha bhano bro problm to asha aati hai bro please video bhano🙏🙏
What is the cable that goes to the back glass. I am replacing a battery but the glass shattered and I am trying to replace it but the part came without this cable. What does it do and can I transfer from the OEM glass to my replacement?
@@DIYGeardo hello, i don't know if i asked the question correctly, so i will repeat it. can i swap my oneplus 7 pro battery with oneplus 7t pro? Is it working well?
@@nildesperandum2034 Because by removing the back cover once, you break the waterproof sealing. If you glue it right back with B7000/T7000 glue, a bit of water probably won't harm the phone, since the glue itself is water repellant. But I wouldn't trust it with my life.
Hello, I followed the tutorial but the battery very quicly discharges to 1% and stays at 1% for a long time. Is this an issue you could help me with? I already charged and discharged the phone completely twice.
