I just got this 6 days ago, i upgraded from 7t. I've no complaint. Especially with 65wah charger, for you people who complaint about no wireless charging, shame on you.
Watching this again and using my 8T. I can say that tge 8T has aged well and it a beast of a device for me. The 65 watts charging speed is so handy in day to day as I don't have to charge the device overnight. The screen is great as it is not a curve one and has a 120hz refresh rate. The camera is actually good for me as I am not a photo savvy person, just do a quick snap and it is okay. If you can get one for a discounted price, do so. by the way, don't update it to OOS 12 as it is not a good idea.
Is the green tint issue on OnePlus 8 pro fixed? Also, should I buy the phone from amazon or OnePlus website the price is the same: $799. If I buy it from Amazon, will it have the green tint issue?
I think, when you dont want a samsung, and also good Support, the One plus 8t is the best and newest you can get. And also I will never understand why people think wireless charging is important...for What? Only for the car, I think, but if youre really a Person that Absolutely needs the phone in the car, you can jsut use a cable, who cares. The battery is big enough, and if It goes slowly to the end, just go to 60hz
@@oceanbreeze685 didn't get a chance to really test it out outside due to the lockdown but for indoor pictures, it does make a little difference. Colors look more natural to me, shots are a bit more detailed and there isn't as much contrast.
The only thing I like better on the 8T is the much faster charging and better battery life. I just prefer bigger displays (whether they're curved or flat). I also like that Cyberpunk themed 8T, but not worth it, imo because the differences are merely esthetic.
Even if you're not a "BIG OnePlus fan" I've used the Galaxy FE this phone is faster, less bloatware and feels way more premium. I came from a Pixel 4xl which this is a huge upgrade from that.
I'm not big on wireless charging, besides it's not as fast as wired charging enough for me to bitch about it. I have the 7t and 7 pro and just ordered the 8T. Qhd is my biggest missing feature. I don't take picture that any modern phone can't handle. I need good overall performance. Only reason I'm not getting the 8pro is because the 8t is still good enough minus the difference in display. I notice FHD vs QHD everytime I pick up my 7pro from my 7t the screen is just obviously sharper.
I have note 10+ at this moment I was thinking bout choosing iphone 12 pro max but somehow I'm waiting for oneplus 8t+ 2 be shipped lol hopefully I'll like it
A phone that can charge from 0 to 100 percent in 30 minutes doesn’t need wireless charging. Is it an added bonus? Yes. But is it necessary? No. I only see wireless charging going fully mainstream in the homes of consumers when the iPhone goes fully port-less(it already started with MagSafe on the iPhone 12 for Apple customers), that’s when Android manufacturers will push the technology to their customers and focus on it as a key feature on their devices.
Like & a comment just to promote your channel, but I am personally unsatisfied with OnePlus 5T experience so far... I wouldn't buy a OnePlus phones again.
@@Eeveetrix0908 If you want To Play emulator You should also consider ROG Phone 3 it has 2 Air Triggers which can be used as 4 different Air Triggers and it also has an Over clocked Snapdragon 865 (865+)
@@tempest1212 but i want the overall of OnePlus 8T. I feel RoG 3 is an overkill. I mean I love it. But I'm also the simple type of smartphone user. The 8T's design to the UI fits me better. So, my point being is, I love the RoG, I'm amazed how great it does for gaming. But for my style and the over-all, especially the camera, I think I know what I want. In life, you just can't have it all, right? 😅
@@Eeveetrix0908 Yes bro at the end it's Your Choice But If You are buying OnePlus 8T for Camera then you should be a little concerned cuz the ROG Phone 3 has a better sensor and after installing G can in ROG it is better than the 8T 8T is an Amazing Device I think I Am Going to get the 8T too
Got mine for a little less than a month. Love it, do not regret it! The only thing I would improve is the cameras and maybe add some additional colors like black it's just crazy how fast it charges I use mine from 20 to 80% through the day and it recharges that % in around 20 minutes. The screen on time is 8-9 hours. Performance-wise is top-notch! I do recommend it. I also have the pastel yellow skin from Dbrand under the silver phone and it looks stunning.
@@supernova1976 hey, The camera quality remains the same- there was a nightmode camera glitch but they resolved that in two days, now works fine. I think they could but won't make the camera any better because then the more expensive models like 8 pro won't sell. Also, the selling point of the 9 line up should be the camera improvements so other one plus phones shouldn't see any major camera improvements... I recommend you wait for the 9, should come in a month or so
Sir should I go for 8. Or. 12 gb of ram coz I'm soo confiused I do gaming but one at a time not more then one and I want to use this phone till 3 to 4 years please replay my question
Bro just a suggestion next time please upload wallpaper link in description...u replied in one of the comment tht its from unsplash..bt im unable to get it..which unsplash ur talkin abt..App or image name as both r nt found..
Dear mark i always see your content and it was too good , But one thing which i was extra focused is ur background wallpaper of device ___plz gives as a link for this wallpaper
The camera in this phone is really bad. I have this phone now, I compared it to my old oneplus 3 and my old phone taking way more detailed photos with better colors (same results with gcam).
Absolutely, I'm so tired of these reviewers complaining about no wireless charging. I've had it on 4 different phones and never use it more than a few times. Gimmick
I don't see not having wireless charging as a drawback as we have to charge the wireless charger to charge the phone, plus 15w wouldn't be good enough.
Honestly, I really don't think a lack of wireless charging is that big of a deal. When you have 65 watt warp charging why would you even need it? Frankly, wireless charging is cumbersome, slow and utterly unnecessary in my opinion. I have had wireless charging on other phones and I don't need it and really don't want it. There is a feature that the OnePlus 8 series has that a lot of other people forget to even talk about. The OnePlus 8 series is equipped with dual SIM card ability. Dual SIM card ability enables you to have two different phone numbers on the same phone and not a lot of companies in the mainstream are offering that in the United states. For somebody like me that hates dragging around two phones this is an awesome feature. I really wish a lot of mainstream companies like Samsung and LG would get with the program and start manufacturing their phones with dual SIM card ability for the United States models.
Well, it's only up to Samsung now. LG announced that they're officially out of the phone game the other day. I will be picking up a V60 after I get the 8T, just for memories. And because the V60 is a great phone.
@@landonharris7480 well, I am pretty much talking about all the mainstream manufacturers. I just feel dual SIM card ability is really an overlooked feature that a lot of people would find useful. I am a huge fan of Motorola phones but, you can only get dual SIM card in their international and global versions. The United States versions do not feature dual SIM cards. I have been using the Motorola Moto g power 2020 version since August of last year and I really love the phone. However, the fact that it does not have dual SIM card ability has really turned out to be a big pain in the neck. I am planning on purchasing either a OnePlus 8, 1 + pro or the OnePlus 8T this week. I am kind of torn to which one to choose. Unfortunately, the OnePlus 9 series this year does not have dual SIM card ability and I think that is a big mistake on their part. Although, I really don't feel looking backward to an 8 series is really a downgrade. One plus has been getting better and better over the last few years.
@@dr.fitprofessor4363 I agree. Dual sim is quite underrated. I'm personally going to get the 8T, it will be my first OnePlus phone and I'm excited! I was going to get the S20FE5G. I like Samsung, but I've never experienced OxygenOS before so I decided on the 8T. Gonna order it sometime in the next couple weeks hopefully. I don't really see much in the 9 series that's worth the upgrade.
@@landonharris7480 I used to use nothing but Samsung's up until about a couple of years ago. I was with Sprint for 18 years and finally cut them off. I really wanted to go to a GSM carrier because there was just more choices in phones. I am purchasing a OnePlus this week. This will actually be my first one plus phone as well. I have kind of narrowed it down between the eight t and the eight pro. The price on both of them has come down significantly on the OnePlus website. You can get the OnePlus 8 pro with 12 gigs of RAM and 256 GB of storage in ultramarine blue for $699.99. they also have the 8T in both colors marked down to $599.99. in addition, you can get those same prices on the 8T on Amazon. Unfortunately, they want way more for the eight pro version and I will not pay it. Moreover, the regular OnePlus 8 and the eight pro that they are offering on Amazon has the built-in Alexa feature which I really do not want. I just want the stock phone the way one plus originally manufactured it.
@@landonharris7480 there is one more thing about the OnePlus 9 series that the other series do not have. They actually just added hasselblad camera systems to this year's lineup. If you're majorly into photography that's probably going to be a good thing. In addition, the Snapdragon 888 is a great chipset but, it really isn't that much better than the Snapdragon 865 in the 8th series. I definitely understand and agree with what you're saying.
I hv watched hundreds of unboxings of this device but i dont hv enough money to get it.Hope u guys r cheer me up and get it for me cuz i am a big fun of oneplus😊
