For me, this has always been the original “Apologize”

Am I the only one who thinks this captures the essence of the song more than the "Official Video"?

I suddenly remembered this video today and wanted to watch it again. My mind was blown to learn that it was fan-made. I always thought this was the official music video! This was SUCH a good video, masterful.

I cant express in words how this video is underrated, i always tought this was the version " without" timbaland, never realized this was fan made, congratulations on beeing a better version than the oficial one, and beeing in the heart of so many fans, impossible to listen without tears coming.

Back in time in 2007 when i first listening to this masterpiece. We r all missing all those sweet memories,are we? or is it only me?

for a loooong time, i thought this was the official MV, and just found out few years ago that it's not, I still refuse that fact. Back in elementary, this was my fave MV. It is, and will always be, the MV for apologize.

I dont think I can tell how many million times Ive watched this since 2006, in my opinion it is undoubtedly one of the best videos ever made in terms of cinematography.

As a closeted musician, this is still the best expression of this song both in terms of its audio and visual arrangements. Bravo and well done, still only listening to this version of the song only.

I remember watching this on my first laptop when the video came out in 2008. I had utterly no clue this was fan made until today. I always thought this was the actual video. I wanted to learn the song on piano, so I went on to you tube to listen to the song and realized that this wasn't the official video. All those years I thought this was it. This truly deserves to be the official video. It's far better than the actual official one that I didn't even know existed until today. Absolutely fantastic, I hope that you are making a wonderful living and that you get the notoriety that you deserve! Also, I just want to add that this was made in 2007/2008. This level of cinematography from a regular person was absolutely unheard of. Just look up some of the videos from back then. Everyone was recording on crap video cameras that could be out performed by a flip phone. Not to mention that editing software was nothing like it is today. No where near as user friendly. Beyond impressive work.

In 2006, I swore to myself I'll never listen to OneRepublic again because this particular MV gave me childhood trauma. But here we are, in 2022. I went on one of their concerts this May. Guess what. 1R is one of my top listening bands for several years now.
