This is my favourite song by one Republic, though I have a thought about that animation of statue. The top part is perfect and good, maybe it is the good old days we remember like how we look to history for inspiration. The broken and flowing (going with the flow) part is the world today, it is breaking away from past and inspiration, losing its shape in some unknown direction. World is getting worse for us. But it is still connected to it. It means we still have hope. Maybe it means that present is not good for originality of art and happiness, everyone is so hopeless, selfish and depressed. But we still have hope to become better to learn from our past and history to make our present better. Then statue will be completed.
