ONEWE (원위) - "Beautiful Ashes" MV + Acoustic Set | REACTION 

It is actually insane how Yonghoon didn't even regress a bit after more than a year of enlistment. Shows how much he practiced despite not being able to perform with his boys.

Not only did Onewe not miss a step coming back, I would go as far as saying they actually took a few extra steps forward. I think RBW letting Giuk officially debut as a solo artist with releases that allow him to experiment and explore different styles of music while also requiring him to expand his vocal skill set has done wonders for him. And he's far from the only member that spent the last two years actively improving their craft as all five of them were putting in the work even amid their own busy schedules/military work. Beautiful Ashes was written and composed by Yonghoon and Giuk alongside RBW producer Jeon Da Woon, but Kanghyun and Harin worked on the arrangement! I don't think enough can be said about Yonghoon's vocals. He could sing the phone book and I'd willingly pay a fortune to hear it.

Dongmyeong improved so much since leader line's enlistment (i'm sure the musicals he took part in helped a lot) I think he is now on the level of most idol groups' main vocalists. If it wasn't for Yonghoon being on another level of skilled entirely and outsinging every main vocal out there, he could have been a main vocalist.

All the emotions Yonghoon's voice makes you feel when he sings is just incredible and special and that is why he is hands down my favorite vocalist ever... I could listen to him sing anything and it would be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard!

Yes! Finally someone that appreciates this band. I LOVE them. Their music and MVs are all so amazing. It baffles me why they don't even have 500k subscribers yet and only got their lightstick recently.

Yay finally Onewe reaction 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I’m so happy to have them all back together, they’ve given us yet another masterpiece of a song/album.. Yonghoons voice just never fails to get me going, and the progress both Giuk and Dongmyeong have made in the time leader line was gone is so amazing, Giuk from his solo albums, and Dongmyeong from his musicals, you can definitely tell there’s a difference in the way they sing/carry themselves I feel.. Harin on his drums is just always a wonder to behold, and Kanghyun with his guitar just always hits.. 5we is and will always be the best Onewe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm so happy that they're back. This song is soooo ONEWE! What I like about this group is that the 3 vocalists (Giuk seems to have evolved from rapper to singer, at least at this song), all have totally different kind of voices. This makes for great diversity within a song. With some groups, you can hardly tell who is singing a part without seeing the MV, because their voices are so alike, but that's not the case with ONEWE because they all have a unique voice. And well, Yonghoon is hands down one of the best vocalists in K-music.

ty for reacting! waited for ur reaction to onewe this song is so heartbreakingly beautiful, as many say, yonghoon went through his 101th divorce for this one lmao also yonghoon with an electric guitar for the title track! kove to see it giuk only singing for a title track and a lot! dongmyeong's vocals got even better and prettier, kanghyun killing it on the guitar and harin shining in his craftsmanship so brightly love them so much the album tho, it's so good, onewe just don't dissapoint amd outdo themselves every time

Hearing your interpretation makes this feel like a continuation (at least part of the same universe?) as Scratch! (the giuk mv!) which never thought abt it that way before but definitely interesting!!
