This review features the 12' x 10' tarp from Onewind Outdoors. Many hammocks are paired with smaller 8' x 10' or 10' x 10' tarps. Watch this review and learn the benefits of the larger 12' ridgeline on this tarp.
As shown, you have the option to fold the ends in to create "doors" on your hammock tarp. There are no buckles or Velcro strips to interfere with the hammock suspension.
In a light rain I don't need to fold the ends in. The added length keeps my hammock protected in a light rain - but I still have the option to fold in the doors if the wind picks up.
Even when the weather is not threatening, this added length provides some added privacy that is lacking with smaller tarps.
Best of all, this tarp is built from lightweight nylon and weighs only an ounce or two more than smaller tarps with less versatility.
