And all the scenes in Trip Advisor are from Fuse all over the world. WM had a project that suggested fan can send the video about their country, and ONF also filmed a video, then they combined many videos to make Trip Advisor MV. It's a way to encourage people from lock down period ❤
I have a theory that Trip Advisor was designed to be filmed as "all day" with clips of them on their trip for the tour that was canceled due to the pandemic. So, since the pandemic canceled the trip, they asked us to record places that we usually pass through or emblematic of our cities with certain quality requirements and they put the guys with CGI. in fact, my video is there too haha also the experience of working with wm was pleasant, the staff was very kind to fuse ~
City of ONF as a whole (so these 10 songs + the 3 added ones) is my favorite album of theirs! It was just strong song over strong song, I couldn’t (and still can’t) decide which track was my favorite one off of the album. “Secret Triangle” was my biggest (positive) surprise when I first listened to the whole song, because the snippet in the highlight medley actually hid its strongest parts and just revealed the chorus. And the end of “The Realist” makes much more sense when you listen to “The Dreamer” in the repackaged album. These two songs were such a genius move, on the same scale as the track-naming on Popping’s album imo. Unfortunately they don’t have any other unit song (besides their OST “No Control”, which is solely sung by the ON team), but maybe in their future full album! 🤞
it's not really dream pop. there might be some inspiration like the distortion on the vocals but if you look up any dream pop compilation it won't really fit in. the realist is more like synthwave/synthpop of the 80's "new wave" variety with the guitar thrown in
Officially, On team is vocal team and Off team is performance team, However the members are just a bunch of all-rounders so the difference is not very obvious😆 ONF used to make self-cam MVs for one of their b-sides every comeback. You can find all of them in the LIGHTS ON playlist on their channel. The song Lights On exists since their debut era but is not officially released until 2021. It IS their first performance in RTK, but they use the original version, not the 2021 version. The names of their songs are put into the lyrics and in the 2021 ver. they also put the melodies in. Finally, people are already saying this but The Realist+The Dreamer is a perfect b-side combo! I hope you give this combo a listen next week! Once again thank you for the vid!
1:00:28 itilu is probably onf's most straightforward typical ballady-ballad. personally thats what puts this below their other ballads for me. i do still enjoy it, but songs like Traveler are far more my speed. typically when it comes to 86400 vs if we dream vs itilu (aka their more typical ballads) polls among fuses, itilu tends to rank last so its interesting for it to see someone say its possibly their favorite.

When I opened the video I was like YAY my favorite shirt! 😄 I feel similar about Beautiful Beautiful, but the thing you described is literally me with Popping like I was in traffic the other day all grumpy and Popping came on and my mood was INSTANTLY TURNED AROUND, GRINNING, dancing, joyful. YES! YOU GOT TRIP ADVISOR! Isn't it so amazing???? I love them. But yeah - the music will always deliver as well. Some of the other cuter songs it's like a solid track and super gorgeous vocals, and Trip Advisor has soooo much going on in both the instrumental AND the vocals it's sooooo good. Another absolutely gorgeous ONF ballad. The use of the acoustic instruments in ONF ballads is one of my favorite things. Also thank you for doing the Self-Cam video, I know they are sooooo fun!
