I mean... She is the most mature out of these three. Edit: Correction. I said "most mature", which is incorrect. That honor goes to Lyney as he's the one that takes responsibilities, diet, etc. the most seriously. Lynette is just the most level-headed of the three.
@@nev781 I guess mature isn't the correct word. In terms of handling responsibilities and such, Lyney is the most mature. Lynette is just the most level-headed out of three.
@@MrFox-dk3fr Lynette is definitley no younger than 18, so why would she have a squeaky voice? I'm 19 and my voice sounds closer to the English voice than the Japanese one.
The non-CN voices often do not lip-sync to the mouth movements. Understandably so, though, Chinese is REALLY hard to dub while matching lip movement in other languages.
I play with the KR voices, and usually fine them pretty decently synced. It’s def not perfect, but when I see clips of the other languages, it’s startling how off they look.
@@kk-cy3sz Maybe it was because spoken Korean reads closer to CN (ca. 50% or more), especially when it comes to Kanjis, which in Korean all read Sino-Korean reading, unlike in Japanese which have Japanese exclusive readings that read longer than Chinese and Korean.
Eng dub is good in this game but this is why I would still rather play it in JP or Chinese. She suddenly sounded kinda sassy when it’s not supposed to be and too serious in a scene meant to be cute and comedic compared to the other 3 dubs.
I think the serious interpretation also fits. This was a pretty risky situation, and the boys wanted to leave her out of it. She must have been upset and I don't think she joked when she said she would report them if they didn't let her join in.
@@nagyzsuzsi97 Actually the seriousness is not the problem, what EN failed to imitate is how Lynette sounds when talking (in general, not just in this case). Go check EN dub of Anby Demara from Hoyo’s another game Zenless Zone Zero and you will know how “quiet girl” (who don’t shout or talk loudly, with a substantial members of this type also being less talkative) like Lynette should sound like.
@@whyisyoutubeshowinghandles It wouldn’t be boring if the EN VAs can do it properly, though! Qiqi is also a “quiet girl” and her EN VA does voiced like one without sounds the same as Anby Demara (though Qiqi’s EN dub sounds over-aged occasionally), so in the end it is still EN VA’s fault lol.
Though JP is your typical "I'm calling four people a baka" anime moment, I personally think Quiñones shows the most emotion, especially when addressing Lyney, which is also kind of rare for her in general. I play Genshin on EN by default (amazing VA cast altogether) and I was actually wondering how the Asian language sound but can't say I'm very impressed.
am i the only one who prefers en voices on most characters?? like the only character id choose to have jp on is nahida maybe but her en voice is adorable as well... plus venti singing in that one event only in en voices, plus idk about other languages but en vas are funny, plus, no offense to yall that play jp but 90% of you guys are weeaboos
