The switch (other than Pc)is the single greatest jrpg platform like....ever. And it's portable!

Didn’t like IAS, not even LS. Oninaki’s premise looked alright to say the least. The demos for all of Tokyo RPG factory’s games don’t often do any justice, but I’m going to skip this one entirely. This developer hasn’t made anything I’d want to try anymore after IAS, not even if it goes on a deep sale at the eshop. Not too fond that the games always get the digital end of the stick forcing those to import the physical version through sites like playasia and amazon.

An honest question. Do you think your opinion on the story stems from rushing thru it? I mean, it’s a long game

Okay so I love everything about this game but I’m wondering is there any post game like what happens when you beat the story? Can I keep going training my spirits?

@@mikahebat I honestly didn't really rush too much but it could have been the pressure of having to finish kind of interfered with it for sure. I think they just miss the emotional mark quite often. Mark

That's how I felt the same way with Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. The dialogue both your main character and the companions that follow you during the story campaign when you engage in battle you can't understand most of the time because there's no subtitle. I would love to know what they're saying and it's annoying at times.

@@DracoBudSmith that's the problem with a lot of jrpgs actually. Tales of, Xenoblade, octopath are just a few examples

@@SwitchUpYt I started Kingdom Hearts again as I want to revisit some of the older titles and then play through the rest of the series I haven't seen, especially 3. But I will take a break from that once Astral Chain comes out next week!

SwitchUp luckily I've got xen out of the way along with the dlc took 150hrs 😂 but once I was hooked I couldn't put it down.

Have you played it ? This game interests me a lot and is on sale but as someone who has anxiety disorder and depression as well I was wondering if the topics were triggering.

SwitchUp i live for all things Jank Mark :P but I will wait for a sale. I’ve gotten into the “buy a switch game, and never play that game” addiction. My back log is enormous, and Pokemon is coming up soon and that will take a lot of my time 😂 I’m screwed and desperately need a year of no switch games to get through that back log.

@@Ashwoodbane Fire Emblem 3H is becoming one of my favorite games of all time. It's my first in the series, and I'm astounded at how high the replay value is and how long the game is. I'm a couple months or so into chapter 2 and I'm at 70 hours already...love it!

I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole review (I know it's pretty long) but I was not critical is areas that needed it and very positive about those that also need that. Overall 75% is a decent score and the points I mentioned are factually flawed I'd say. What do you reckon? Mark

No the difficulty is fine plus you have three options there. I got destroyed for the first 10 minutes until I figured out how to really play. Then all was well. Mark

Yeah it didn't quite reach the hieghts it should have mainly down to the often bizarre story and the middle filler was pretty shameless. Mark

Never mind. Sarcasm. So it's a little like Diablo with combat, loot types and camera. It's a little like Final Fantasy with the story side and general structure. It's more a quick snap shot to interest people. I wouldn't take it too seriously the review says everything I wanted to say. Mark

@@SwitchUpYt you sarcastic with anyone who doesn't agree with your titles? And the isometric camera the only thing thats similar between that and diablo. Loot system isn't. And it's a jrpg.. All rpgs have a story, hell even cod has a story so that in turn is the only thing the same as final fantasy or 99% of all games.

It was kinda boring, the combat was very slow, this game and its story was kind of a let down.

Same here - it's better in the full game and gets better with each upgrade. By the end I was dropping screen clearing Ultima moves. Awesome. Mark

It's OK as I mentioned it has some pacing issues, areas with odd timing but overall I enjoyed it. Mark

I would tend to agree - I loved Setsuna having said that. I think they will get there. There are just so many slightly ususual decisions. I could have sat down with them for 5 hours and fixed half of them. Mark
