Since last week, i have been thinking about chopping methods, bcoz recently i have bought a big knife for chopping. i love chopping onions on chopping board. it is like telepathy, and the video is presented. Thank you. My family is watching and cooking many dishes following your video.
Sir you are first chef teaching chopping techniques 🥰🥰. Hats off to you. You inspire and guide millions of beginners like me thanks a lot . You achieved so much yet so simple and humble🙂🙂.
This is my second visit , now I fall in love with your all tips and tricks & my first visit was yesterday on how to cut pineapple ( febonachi sequence ).🔥🤩💕
Your way of expressing the fact about food and food items is in such a way that forces me to sink in the same way as you express. It is like I am flowing with the river. You are so so expressive about food and food items which gives a feeling that you are one of close relative i .e. You know their chemistry so much and you yourself has become one of themselves. your love and association with food is marvellous. You really understand the food and food items so much. 👌

Absolutely loved it! Sir, I am 14 years old and want to be a chef in the future! And you are one of my role models! Also, I can't believe it but I cut onions as you showed in this video from prior of this video! I request you to make this a series and teach us to cut more veggies! Thank you!
Those who can teach like chef Ranveer are superheroes! Thanks for sharing such an informative video Ranveer, i often get laughed at for my poor chopping skills.
When we cut an onion the enzyme works to alter the amino acids into lachrymator compounds. This form of sulfuric acid irritates the nerves around the eyes making them tear.I learnt in my chemistry classes that if we keep the onions in the refrigerator for 30mins before cutting it then the vapour of the sulphur chemical doesn't get released and we dont get tears in our eyes....btw thanks a lot ranveer sir for this vdo...this was the much needed skill i wanted to get😍❤
A trick that I learned in my school days in chemistry lab was to Cut the onions in half and keep it in the fridge for 30 mins. Your eyes will thank you.
NEVER CUT OFF THE ROOT OF AN ONION IT MAKES THE ONION BLEED WHICH MAKES US CRY. THIS TIP REDUCES THE EFFECT OF SULPHUR OF AN ONION BLEEDING OUT AND MAKING US CRY. -a 13 year old chef, me :)
Hello Chef, today we went to Homecentre and saw your collection.Whole range is just out of the world. We spent good amount of time there.Aap kitne bade bade chef ho ,lekin RU-vid se u r so connected to each one of us and so humble. You have something in you ,sab aapke fan ko jaate hai.we did shopping from there as we saw your collection.Homecentre was looking beautiful more coz of your handpicked collection👌👌👌
"I am amazed that no professional chef realises that regular people don't have super sharp chefs knives at home. " I wrote that before he used glass to chop onions. 😀😀😀
Is very easy to maintain a sharp knife at home.. Sharper the knife easier the work.. Sharper the knife lesser the tears with onions.. All you need is a sharpening stone you can buy for under 250inr at a hardware shop, 15 mins of RU-vid instructions and 5 mins a week to actually sharpen the knife.. Chefs don't have magic knives that stay sharp forever.. they sharpen it regularly.. Try it, will save you a ton of time, and make cooking easier.
Peeled the onions, put it in a box and keep it in fridge... i dont know the trick but to save time i have done that and its really worked as while cutting i had no tears 😁
Love you chef!! The way you speak in your videos , doesn't feel like you are in front of the camera . It feels like I am actually there to learn cooking from you. Your journey is also very inspiring ❤️
Hope the chewing gum doesn't get mixed with the chopped onion, then it will be onion chopping with chewing gum special , maybe a million RU-vid views for that
It’s sheer poetry to watch you cook and to listen to your narration. Only you can make chopping onions into a next level art form. Love and respect ❤️✨
One trick to apply vinegar on the cutting plate.Good presentation....tx for the tips..god bless...take care during this pandemic...to other commentators as well..
Wonderful! It literally feels like his ingredients enjoy his company as much as he enjoys. You know, as it feels like a two-way relationship of Ranveer with his ingredients. Amazing.
MY maternal uncle used to tell me that when he was in college he used to cut onion and cabbage with steel glass i never believed him but today CHEF RANVEER has enlightened me. .lmao..
Keeping the root tip on can also help in reducing tears as sulfur enzyme release through the root side if it stays intact the enzyme will not release as much..😁 self tried and tested 👍
Hii there , my name is tushar and i am a chef 😁, the cuts are very important part of a dish because they will determine the need of the dish which means if we need onions for a puree then it is advisable to fine chop them and then cook them and then make a puree.every cut will give u a different texture and then the cooking time is greatly dependent on the size of the cut. Uniform size in cutting will ensure proper cooking which in turn will result into a great meal, that we all deserve
Best method to avoid tears while cutting onions🌰 is to put them in freezer for about 3-5 minutes before cutting 👍 so that they become cool and the compounds in it do not vaporise and irritate eyes.
