ONION EMERGENCY! It's Time To Harvest

With white rot setting in, I have decided that now is the time to act. I have to get these onions out of the ground before any more damage is done. Join me as I harvest my onions even if it is a week or two earlier than I would like!

Wow that’s a lot of onions! Don’t forget to dry the leaves and turn them into onion powder, lovely for seasoning!

Hi Lawrence, lovely harvest! Got back from my plot after harvesting shallots, my onions from seed are not ready yet

I would say that most of mine from seed were not quite ready. I had to rip off the plaster and pull them up because I had more and more dying off. Oh well! I know not to plant alliums in that bed next year.
