As far as the HDMI issue, have you tried using and fiber HDMI cable? I had problems with long runs and switched to a cheap Amazon Basics cable to see what results I'd get and it solved my problem. I then switched to Ruipro cables for my projector and Nvidia Shield Pro. This may not be a fix for your issue but, it was spot on for mine.
Hello, thank you very much for the review. I also have this receiver and I'm running across some issues with the volume: Initially everything was "ok @ level 27" but lately , I'm cranking it up to 64 to get the same level of loudness. Also you mentioned some-what full envelopment while listening, well I'm not getting that. I've completed the initial set-up numerous times and even factory reset it. Do you have any thoughts on what maybe going on? Thanks in advance if you see this.
Update to my last comment: I was looking at another one of your videos and see that you are already using RUIPRO cables. Well, back to the drawing board for you. I hope you can get the problem solved.
