I did online dating from roughly around 2002 - 2015 and it was crazy. In all those years I met maybe one or two quality people. I met hundreds of crazies
I've met my husband online.. 13 years of marriage this year😊.. after 4 months of dating he proposed to me and after 11 months since our first date, we got married 😁.. never thought I could be happier 😁
Getting in a relationship is like being excited about your first day of school/work then after a couple of days realizing you have to be there for the whole year.
If you’re married Stay there!! Things got weird out here!!! Ahahahaaaaa This was hilarious 🤣 So glad I have never joined any of those dating apps! I’m dyin!! Lol 😂
@@daszieher “ Internet dating”???! Ahahahahahaaaaa What is that???? 😂😂😂😂 You must have been desperate! I can’t even imagine the thought of it, I am laughing so hard!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 How could it even compare to REAL LIFE???!!! 🫣🫢🤔😂Ahahahaaaaa you poor thing! Hopefully you found a REAL LADY! 🫵😅😌👏👏👏🤝👍✌️
@@marybennett4160 "curious" is a better description of my state of mind at the time. 😄 As I said, I did meet real ladies in real life and they put the quality of those available through apps to shame.
@@metallboy25 you’ve GOT to be joking. Women have to contend with psychos. You just have to worry about not getting laid. I can see what they don’t find attractive lol
I was a pioneer. Was on Yahoo Personals for 5 years before I met my husband. We've been together for 18 years, married 16 years. My husband had been on there for 5 minutes, messaged 3 women and one was me.
The Amish joke was so funny- the Amish used to tell me I was more Amish than they were.... hard work and thriftiness aren't in demand in mainstream culture :(
@Heather Smith I grew up without a TV, or video games. Or even a family desktop computer until I was 9 or 10. (Y2K) My friends called me and my family Amish. It was challenging to make friends and almost impossible to keep them long term. My Mother actually grew up in Lancaster Co PA. All her neighbors were Amish. My Father is from Ohio/Indiana border. Many Amish folk there as well. I once saw a pretty Amish girl in a store and smiled a subtle, kind smile, mostly just lit up the eyes and made eye contact. She beamed a smile right back and then immediately wiped it from her face, looked at the floor and left the building right quickly. Sad. I don't think very highly of their cult. They reject Reason absolutely and also anything that is known to be an invention of man through reason or science. They instill an ideology on their children that life must be miserable and there can be no happiness. Even (or especially) if its a moment of mutual delight between a young, 20-something man and women. Disturbing. Evil. I dare say.
Great stuff. I actually met my current girlfriend online more than 20 years ago. We still Skype every night and one day we might actually meet in person.
Hey, don't feel ashamed. Now and days that's what we gotta do, unfortunately. How else would you meet people especially with covid restrictions going on now. Look at it as a chance to meet people you'd probably would have never crossed paths with.
@@ddee7847 Online dating is for women really, women pick and dump men like it's online shopping. it's different world fore men, so i understand him! he's tired of the game he doesn't have any control on.
The guy says "this is not like... Nobody looks at me and goes like this is what I want". I pause, look at him and my brain ist like "he's really cute. Yeah that is actually exactly what I want🤔"
*My hubby and I met on the internet before it was “normal.”* So, for a while, people thought it was _weird._ But now, when we tell people that’s how we met, people always ask “what app 😃?!” 🙄 lol
I like the guy who gets really attached really quickly cuz he's adorable, i can work with that. I bet he's like awkward as hell 😅, The guy right after him though is he on Something 🤔
My ex husband and I met online but because we PHYSICALLY met at a bar to shoot pool he told his parents and grandparents we met at the bar like that was soooo much better than online lol. Also true to form of my online shopping I returned that defective misleading order Also.
On the serious side, it really is brutal--for men. Men have to realize they outnumber women in online apps 15 to 20 to one, hence their complaint of no matches nor responces. Women, however, are bombarded daily with men of various quality. But men would be just as picky if it were the other way around.
Lol met the cutest guy, and he lied about 4” of height… from 5’8 to 5’4… and I’m 5’10… actually would’ve went on a 2nd date if he was upfront 🙃 just felt weird about it after that 😅
I agree, height is totally irrelevant to me. I am 5'6" A 5'4" man was the man of my dreams, but he wouldn't marry. I even prefer men shorter than me. Lying is the worst. I had a liar meet with me, and in a few seconds I ran away saying you lied about your height, no date. Goodbye. Warning ⚠️ to liars. Surprisingly married a tall man I met online because he's a good person and good-looking, so I overlooked his height.
You're only lonely if you choose to be. Also if you like wiping Cheeto dust on yourself... I wipe Combo leavings on my shirt, so, thanks for having me.
03:35 Joe Devito: "There's only one picture we need to see... That is you, naked, on a scale, holding a bank statement." I hurt myself laughing at that one!!!
@@roywalter2352 Bitcoin investment is great unlike the stock market and other financial Bitcoin has no centralized Iocation since it's operates 24 hours a day in different parts of the world
pretty much every guy online I've ever talked to made himself taller in his profile, because they think they will get more dates that way. Sadly, most guys are also dumb rocks, so they will try to date a woman taller than them, who said in her profile she won't date shorter guys, and are still surprised when she leaves when the short truth arrives^^
@@davidtilley5671 - hahahaha, I’ve actually been divorced for almost 10 years and ‘researched,’ a few platforms and they freaked me out without even entangling with anyone. People flash shopping for the most beautiful, finest value and quality garment that have little to contribute that couldn’t afford to replace their holey whiteish tube socks. Many women aren’t financially compensated as they deserve to be and it makes single independent living very unfun. I’ve read several references lately to the high numbers of predators online so please keep your wits about you‼️

Only ONE picture we need! And it should be required for everyone! and that's a picture of you naked, standing on scale, holding a bank statement! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ok but.... But the picture is photo shopped, the scale is fixed and the bank statement is a forgery! Welcome to online dating!🤣🤣🤣
Enjoyed this immensely! I'm a 60+ woman, who's been in this minefield for years...what's with the guys who pose wearing sunglasses, in front of a fancy car, motorcycle, yacht, or with no shirt, slouching, balding , with a bulging stomach who are seeking attractive looking women 20 years younger, who know how to cook... I have even seen photos of men with their arm around another woman or wearing wedding rings. There is even a site in my area, for women to initiate with men, but whenever I have, they don't respond...Boy, do I ever miss the good old days, like Archie Bunker sang... when girls were girls and men were men, and there were normal ways to meet. Thanks for the laughs and good luck to all of us out there still trying!
Sunglasses mean married of course. Some women prefer men who are attached . All the good ones are taken. At least they get a guy who's good in the sack. The single ones are rejects.
Women write "hiking" on their profiles because it makes them sound active, not because they actually do go hiking. The comedian Iliza Schlesinger talks about this.
Hahaha....😂😂😂 Dating Apps are not for the faint hearts! It's this massive super market of human beings where you return everything back to the shelves after shopping...and then repeat the same process again and again...😏😅
IMHO all people are imperfect people; in my experience the great looking/ seemingly perfect ones are always crazy or dysfunctional (otherwise they wouldn’t be single), I don’t even respond to them online anymore lol
@@thebestcentaur or you can give the girls that have given you attention, a chance. Problem is that men who are short, unattractive, or broke think they deserve model. Get what suits you and they will treat you right
I wish I had better advice for guys, but I just don't. The best I have is become the person YOU would want to date. Become valuable (God loves you, and your soul has value as a human being, but as NapoleonDynamite says, girls like guys with great skills). I ran a half marathon, started performing music, listening to Jordan Peterson and prayed for very specific things. I made a long list of questions the person had to answer before I would have real conversations. Found several great guys and married the man of my dreams in 9 months. Good luck and God bless.
The "daddy-daughter date" comments are no joke. I got tired of being asked how many kids menus we needed and getting funny looks from the hosts when my husband would answer just 1. I'm a 5'2 hobbit, my hubbs is 6'4 and now my son is 6'1, so if we go out just us they think WE'RE on a date. Um, not that kind of date... If I joke that he's paying, they think I'm serious and give him the bill. I don't even look that young, ppl just see my height and go - child. Life is weird for a short girl.
Just putting this out there. If anyone (female) wants a picture of me naked with a bank statement on a scale, not only am I willing, but you are very brave. Lol
