@@MooncakeEnglish Thanks for putting out great content. Your videos are always full of great ideas and explained in a fun and informative way. It's nice to get new game ideas, but it's even better if someone demonstrates how to explain and play the gane with the students. I just tried out the "Silly Banana-Game" today and it was fun. I work in Beijing :)

@@MooncakeEnglish Thank you for your response :) I was new to it but the way things work here you have to adjust real quick lol. I sometimes struggle with the very small ones because they are still learning the language and I sometimes don't know how to play online games with them because following instructions isn't a strong point as yet. Do you have any types of how to teach 3/4 year olds online and make it fun?

But now i feel more confident and satisfied with our classes) And i feel i need to learn more , especially with younger learners as it is quite hard sometimes to keep them focused. Again, thanks a lot for the work you do and tips you give! Thanks for sharing your ideas and knowledge!

Hi Mooncake, I'm doing video lessons in Hong Kong. Have you got some tips on games and activities to use when you are filming a video lesson where there is no interaction with the students.
Hi Annita, thanks for watching and welcome to the Mooncake community! For teaching videos I think transitions are the most important part. If you can smoothly transition into the next part of the lesson you will be able to keep the students attention. I have an example of transitions here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-19st83NSNGg.html Another tip is to talk to the camera as if you were talking to a student, eye contact is really important. Don't forget to encourage them to join in and say things with you even if on a video. I have also talked about making short teaching videos here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--0P6Pyph2XI.html I hope that helps 😊
Hi Zahra, thanks for watching and welcome to the Mooncake community! I hope classes are going well in Iran and that the channel can inspire some new ideas for your class.
The best part of your videos is the introduction, I always laught a lot, especially with this one. I just wonder if you teach online with more than 15 students, for instance. I'm just dealing with it, it is so challengung, thouhg. Would you inspire me with some tips for this number of students?
Hi Christian, thanks for watching and for the positive feedback! Not everyone gets my British sense of humor so it's great to know you enjoy the intros 😊 I actually have a video about managing group classes here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9llmAVW-ZKk.html It is very tricky to manage a 15+ student class so hopefully this video will help inspire some ideas!
