I have 2b - 3b hair and am trying the Lavender leave in tea. After a lot of hair fall, I am using all natural treatments to build back up thick hair like before! Also the Amla tea and Rosemary leaf tea and Fenugreek seed tea, but those make my hair dry/frizzy, so those I apply a few hours (or overnight) then rinse out. I use a tea of Marshmallow root, Lavender and Licorice root, as leave in rinse after rinsing out the other, and it leaves the hair very soft but with body. I recently learned a tip - to boil the Rosemary for 45min, it brings out more benefits from the herb. I hope any of that helps someone else out there. Good luck to us all on our hair journey!

I’m glad that I came across this video. It’s a reminder of a dream that I had over 27 years ago. I knew nothing of lavender then. I dreamt that a prophetess that I just met asked me “when was the last time I washed my hair with lavender.” For the life of me I didn’t understand the dream. Fast forward to Today, I have problems with thinning hair, seeing this video surely does take me All the way to my dream… I had a healthy head of hair then. Now I figure that God was telling me via my dream what I would need to help me w/ my hair in the future (now). Thanks for sharing

Incase you're interested, if you put your herb-infused-water in a dark/tinted spray bottle it will preserve it much longer. Also, don't put it in a bottle that will hit air too much, as it will oxidize. Also the best preservative measure asides from chemicals is to refrigerate. Hope this helps

@@neeneebaby For example, any container, that you have to open to use. A spray bottle is best in infused waters, as less air gets in there. Only open to put the product in and don't open it until it's done or you're refilling with new product. I hope this helps

My natural hair stylist puts a sprig of fresh rosemary in a bottle of olive oil (dark bottle) and that's the only oil she uses only my hair. Lavendar is awesome as well...

I have been using lavender essential oil and rosemary in distilled water, spray mine and my daughters hair with it every other day. So that explains why our hair has been thriving and healthy. Also use Mielle Rosemary Mint oil on scalp and the leave in conditioner. I have tons of dried lavender buds (use for bath products) will be trying this too. Thanks

If she’s tender-headed use products that create slip. The reason children complain is your pulling the scalp by trying to comb a dry tangled hair. Use moisturizer/hydration methods that help the comb glide through.

That's the main element missing from hair growth videos. It's also important to show how fast their hair usually grows without said product for comparison. There are so many factors though that could affect results (where they live, hair porosity, medical conditions, etc)

This does work, especially while wearing a protective style. I spray my scalp daily as well as my 6-year-olds and her hair is growing like crazy also. Finally, something that does what it's supposed to. I ordered the lavender buds from Amazon you suggested also.

I too love it. My son was so active I grew it under his window to help calm him so he could sleep. I added it to bathwater, to his shampoo, to his body wash and to his lotion. It's also good if you have head aches I have lavender candles.

You should experiment and find what works for you, that’s been my motto. I see so much here on yt, and I want to try everything, lol. I always remind myself, just find what works for you. I would say storing in a glass container is best, as we all know plastic breaks down and those particles go inside the herbs. Also, storing in fridge maybe best but do know over time as anything else it will loose it potency as it would in a very hot or moist area that will grow mold/fungus etc... and maybe using distilled water or alkaline water vs tap water can give u more benefits and time on the herbal tea leave in/rinse.

Peppermint, tea tree, and olive oil and bi weekly scalp treatment with peppermint oil for my hair growing very fast, that even the stylist in the salon is shocked saying dag your hair is growing fast. I seal my oils in with design essentials moisturiser or shea moisture with hibiscus hair cream. Sulfide 8 grease is also bomb to use to seal.

@@joankwamboka700 I get scalp treatment at least once a month, use all peppermint products in the salon, it coast only $18 bucks. I get the hair two strand twisted and keep it in almost two weeks. I sleep on a Satan pillow and several days a week I rub my scalp with pepper oil and tea tree and olive oil. I also add else oil to hair so it is glows and stays youthful. Then I leave my hair out for a week but spray scalp with warm green tea water with peppermint, lavender oil, ginger oil, and olive oil and massage it in, and I sit in the sun for at least ten minutes to get vitamine d. I take vitamins b and d3 suppliments and drink green tea through my week. Usually the last week of the month I twist it with a sponge for twisting it. Every day in the morning I have a bowl of keto granola with berries. You need to add things in your diet that helps the hair to grow. At least once every 2 months I give my hair an acv and baking soda and water scrub.

A big part of this trick is not really the "lavender"... Its good for the hair yes, but it will not make the hair grow "faster"... The trick here is the Sleep you will get from using this level of lavender. The deep sleep is needed to grow long hair! Thanks for this video mama! Cantu leave in will dry out the hair faster with the rubbing alcohol that is in the ingredients. I used to have to moisturize my hair every 2 days and it would flake but now I can go a week and still have soft and manageable hair. I use Ors Olive oil leave in.

Yes Cantu doesn't work for me and my daughter too. It's tricky cos it will feel good when you apply it but afterwards dryness is your woe.

Try natural olive oil to retain some moisture after putting in the lavender. Maybe even mix a drop or two of lavender oil for the smell too

I think it's important to respect everyone method, but oil does not moisturize it seals the moisture in. If the hair is dry and you apply oil you just sealed the dry hair and now moisture cannot enter the hair follicles. I like to use my natural hair old from my scalp brush my hair in shower with warm water to soead oils out, and then seal my ends with an oil and leave in. No alcohol in any products it's dry our natural hair out!

I loooooove and adore LONG 4c hair. It has gotten a bad reputation for some odd reason. 4c hair IS GORGEOUS Edit: I have 4c hair, but for years I did not know how to manage it. She demands quality time. And when I started giving it to her.. she flourished. She's a lot like me. Lavender is a wonderful plant!! You can also use it in your bath water. I mix it in my coconut oil body butter and use it morning and night. I use lavender essential oil in a glass spray bottle with filtered water to spray my micro locs, and it works wonders for me. Your daughter has beautiful hair!!! No doubt you're doing a great job, I noticed how rough you are handling her hair.... this takes me back to my childhood, oh how I hated getting my hair did!! Anyways, great video

Your baby girl likely needs to hydrate more, and to consume more Vitamin D. (You mentioned her scalp's constant dryness.) Insufficiency/lack of the latter is a _significant_ problem with us brown folk; namely since *melanin **_hinders/blocks_** Vitamin D absorption.* Blessings 🙏🏼

I've started turning my kitchen scraps, food and paper waste into soil by fermenting it with Bokashi bran. The next step is to feed the fermented food to worms who will turn it into vermicompost/soil fast fast. Always looking for great ways to look after my hair too

I absolutely LOVE this video! I LOVE LAVENDER. I ordered the exact same Lavender from Amazon. When I opened it, the kitchen smelled like straight lavender in minutes and it was a beautiful smell that was calming. When I boiled the lavender over the stove, 😍🍃🌿 I started to get sleepy 😴 because it smelled so good and it relaxed me so well. Can’t wait for the results for my hair. 🌾🌹

Interested in trying procedures... I have a sensitive scalp, I don't hair grease, but do use the hair creams. I find that peppermint oil castor oil and vitamin oils E and C...I use it twice the month...between washing...use apple cider vingar and water one non wash days. It seems smooth my scalp. Just a tip, Cantu has Cetyl & Ceterayl Alcohol in the ingredients & that may be the cause of itchy scalp, dry, thin or brittle hair... soooo yeah lol other than that the hair looks amazing & I’ll be trying this out!!!

Wow.. I never knew this.. however, this video is what I coincidentally found. Because for the past 3-4 months,I have been using lavender and peppermint oil, massaging into my scalp nightly, along with Cantu grow strong while I twist it.. My hair is 3 inches longer in less than 4 months . When I saw you video it made me happy, because I only did it because I like that Cantu.. I usually wouldn't put essential oils on my scalp. But I must admit that this time, this really really worked and I had no idea why my hair was growing so fast, with very minimal hair in the comb was also a bonus.

This video is amazing! I swear I just spoke with a hair chemist and she stated that essential oils were the only oils that cause blood circulation along side castor but wow you made it into a liquid form which works better on keeping our scalp clean and breathable. Thank you for this wonderful suggestion of using lavender 💜. My hair is thriving however it's still nice to try new natural products. Just wondering, if the manner you are putting your daughter's hair up might be pulling out the edges? It doesn't look as if the edges are as long as the rest of her gorgeous hair. I make sure when I put my hair up I can move my head in all directions without feeling any pulling anywhere. Another way is to part off the edges and back and wrap the hair into the ponytail afterward with bobby pins. Just a suggestion, but GREAT JOB caring for your baby's hair.🟥🟦🟩🟧🟨🟪
