I don't disagree. There's absolutely no way they will be worse, so it's not a question on if they improve. The only question is how much did they improve? Can they be one of the top 3 teams in the SEC because the SEC gets 4 entries into the playoffs but you don't want them to be the 4th spot.

I agree with you as well. But I think what Blake Baker did at Missouri leads me to believe we will be quite a bit better especially because we have better athletes than Missouri has

because u obviously have a different prediction for this team than we do only takes 10 wins in todays world sec wise 2-3 losses can maybe be reasonable but u sound like u don't know what the team has... are u even and lsu fan??? what u doing here?

@@johnathanculifer Sorry if you feel I am killing your buzz/raining on your parade or whatever. I’m just trying to stay objective. Just because I’m a fan doesn’t mean I have to have blind belief that we should be winning every game - imho our talent on D is below average, that’s all. That’s it - do you disagree?…fine if you do - I thought our D stank last year and unless the new DC can make miracles we’re not likely to be in top 40 this year - hence the pessimism about beating good teams. Teams with a better balance between their offences & defences. Remember FSU last year? As an an aside…I’m no Seminole fan but they deserved their place in the play-offs. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to be proven wrong and get to the play-offs. I’d be 100% delighted to eat said ‘humble pie’ - it just doesn’t make sense to me that we can improve that much on D in one year - let the new recruits prove me wrong - wud love that!

@@cheetahturner4576 There are examples almost every year, usually more than one. Also, there are walk-ons who end up getting a scholarship. If you wanted to research it ,you could look at the NFL draft and see who is drafted that was a 3-star or lower out of highschool.
