The mysteries and the questions in the early seasons is what truly made AOT a masterpiece

This is a very beautifully-written ode to AoT, and I think all of the scenes were perfectly chosen. Seeing Erwin charge his soldiers towards their deaths, the rumbling, Hange burning herself into oblivion as she sacrifices herself for her friends and allies, all of these scenes still fill me with so much emotion. Im the same as you man, watching AoT ongoing from the very first episode.. AoT is the biggest entertainment in my life.

I saw the first season but then I dropped it. This really made me want to see the rest!

"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention." - Ramsay Snow - GOT This quote is what I think about whenever I see someone complaining about SNK ending back when the manga ended and now (anime has added scenes right? I don't remember the manga anymore but it felt like that). Like, sure the pigeon was very funny and memeable, and sure Mikasa and the uncertainty of her future is very sad but again, this story never showed signs of happily ever after for everyone (Eren swears to kill an entire race of monsters while still being 10ish in the 1st episode ffs) besides, there are other far more important things to complain about besides romantic couples. Some may like it some others may not but this ending feels appropiate, it definitely does for a story like SNK, starts in a grim and dangerous world with a glimpse of hope for a better future and it ends exactly the same way. I loved SNK, definitely my personal top 5 along with Evangelion, FullMetal Alchemist, Monster and Death Note (Haven't really read too much manga but if someone cares, Berserk 1st, Gantz 2nd and SNK 3rd now). This show gives me the same hope for anime I had back in the 90's anime era, it gives me hope that buried under all the Isekai bullshit Japan has been breeding like rabbits, under all that shit we can find buried treasure like this

What is this "dip in quality" people refer to when they talk about season 4? Where's it at? I've watched through the show 3 times and I have yet to find what they're talking about. I'm just not seeing it. I'm asking genuinely.
