And they had it in Tag 2 and T7 but only of PlayStation for some reason. Now it’s on all platforms, like it should have been. But yes, I wish all Fighters did this

Fun fact, I also put Devil Kasumi as the red arena theme, and my first match on it was my Reina vs a Kazuya on ranked. Their special intro syncs PERFECTLY to the songs drop and it was the hypest shit
It has that sprinkly water feel to it that makes it so suitable lol. And a nice chill mood when you're training/waiting for online. For the final round of Yakushima I put Moonlit Wilderness for more hype.
The fact that a number of Tag 2 songs made it in here (and a number more considered) goes to show how amazing the game truly is. Still in disbelief on how slept on it was and saddened that we will never get that level of love from Tekken again.
Very cool of Namco to give us all of the soundtracks for free this time around. I'm cool with most of the T8 default OST but I have the main menu set to 'Fetus' from T4 and the character select set to the arena remix from TTT2 (I forget the name) because I was getting tired of hearing all of the "woah-oh"s.
I got the TTT2 version for the dojo stage and the Tekken 3 version for the climax, and I am telling you there is not a bigger hype combination in the game when it goes to the final round.
i put Electric Fountain as the final round song for Descent Into Subconscious. Electric Fountain to me is the quintessential T6 song, so having it play when one of the floors is literally the fight against Jin in arcade ladder was the way to go.
Moment of Impact was added as a part of the DLC stage, which is why is not as known. It's so good. I wish the Pacman arena ost was also in there, but I don't think it is sadly. It was also great
I just started listening to the Tekkan playlist and omg this music goes crazzyy, "The Decisive Blow" and "Volcanic Bomb" go hardd, both on Normal of course
Dude I didn't even know Tekken 8 had this level of QoL the fact that you can enable songs across every Tekken game to the stages. Both Tekken 8 & Smash are amazingly adept in the music front. Naturally I instantly fell in love with the system in Smash ultimate & im happy to see that Tekken 8 is doing the same thing & better hopefully. Very happy to hear that music across all the Tekken games are in the jukebox so that if you dont listen on Spotify then Tekken 8 is the next best option
I used almost exclusively Tekken 5 music for the nostalgia, and it makes the fights so much better. I think if I’d tried to go through each game’s music I’d be there all damn day lmao. Best feature in the game.
This had reminded me of much of the great Tekken tracks, I added to my playlist Tekken 7 was fire, I can't believe I feel sort of nostalgia towards it now, the same I felt for 5 when 7 was out
Fallen Destiny - Hall of Fate Fallen Destiny Climax - Moonlit Wilderness It's one of my favorite transitions when that storm and the chorus goes ham together in the final round.
I customized most of mine too but I personally feel Tiamat and Gold Rush works PERFECTLY in Elegant Palace. What a GOODASS feature man, I hope this becomes a mainstay in future Tekken games
Honestly the only thing they could do to make this even better is to pull a smash and have it so you're able to set multiple songs per stage and adjust the likelihood of one turning up. That way the music cant really 'get old'.
3:36 Dude I kid you not, I've been searching for this one particular Tekken 7 song since that Boss Rage video for so long and I could not for the life in me figure out the actual name of it. This was the Tekken equivalent of that "These Sounds Fall Into My Mind" song I also use to have a hard time finding since the 90's, lol XD.

I WAS WAITING FOR THIS. I still need to go through most of the stage themes (which I'm sad I haven't yet changed given how long I've had the game), but I've changed most other themes. I've been a Tekken music head for a looooooong time and the FIRST thing I did in the game is change some of the themes. I kept Victor and Reina's themes for their respective stages, but I have to change everything else. Here is some of my list of what I HAVE changed: Main Menu: Tekken 6 - Side Winder Character Select: Tekken 6 - Broken Ties Jukebox: Tekken Tag 2 - Wall of Confrontation Customization: Tekken Tag 2 - Your Sunset Gallery: Tekken 6 - Never Ending Tekken Ball / Climax: Tekken 3 - Gon (Console Ver.) / Tekken 3 - Tiger Jackson (Console Ver.) Tekken Arena (Underground) / Climax: Tekken 7 - Brimstone & Fire 1st / 2nd Ortiz Farm (Main / Climax): Tekken 6 - Yodeling in Meadow Hill I chose a lot of the newer Tekken games for themes because when you try to use some of the classic themes with modern backgrounds and such, it didn't feel "right" to me. I can't explain. I LOVE the classic themes, don't get me wrong, but I wanted more of a "modern" feel to my version of Tekken 8 and I was literally in the Jukebox for HOURS testing themes and then going back to the actual modes to hear the themes with the modern sound design. So I still have a ways to go, but I love what I've come up with for myself, personally.
jukebox should be in every fighting game! i spend Hours costumizing stage musics in tk8 cuz i couldn't resist dancing or fully listening to some of the songs
Just like when I was messing around with the Smash Bros Brawl, Four and Ultimate music selection for everything there is, you bet I'll be doing the same when I get my hands on this game.
I'm surprised he changed all the songs. I like most of the ost in this game. I personally changed the menu theme, character select, and then changed a few of the stages, mainly the 2nd theme like for example I kept storm rising 1 for fallen destiny and changed the second one for Jin's T3 theme. Same with stratosphere except I changed the first theme for heat haze 2 and kept the second one cause it's so damn good.
