Only eating SRI LANKAN FOOD for a full day! 

Side dishes are supposed to be mixed with rice. Aubergine moju, fish (Ambul thiyal), Jackfruit curry and Baby jackfruit (polos) curry are traditional Sri Lankan dishes. You didn't have Jackfruit curry, instead you got Jackfruit and coconut sambol. Next time, try jackfruit curry and baby jackfruit (polos) curry. I'm pretty sure that those two curries will knock your socks off. 😄

You should mix those Curry with rice before eating 😊

So glad you enjoyed the food. The food all looked really yummy and authentic. I agree sometimes chefs can overcook the prawns, even at home we are very careful not to overcook it as it becomes too mushy and powdery. But all in all I think you got a real feel of what Sri Lankan is all about. Note here on the island, each region has its own preperation speciality and spice mix used , so each part of the island has its own flavors. If you are ever deciding to come let me know. Myself and my in-house chef have prepared a round the island tour called Sri Lanka - Across the Eaten Path. It covers so many regions and specialities form each place. Also re Jackfruit, you need to give it a try in Kandy, where we have an ancient manor who does a slow cooked preperation which melts in your mouth.

How much did you spend? Most of it was commercial white people sri lankan. Usually its more spicey. Was this in south west london? Why din you take a tube or national rail?
