I'm not sure if it's intentional, but I really like how well this slots itself into Dual Process Theory's main timeline theory. My only real nitpick with theres' was that FNAF 1 kind of felt like it happened for no reason (something they even kind of admit). The idea of FNAF 1 *intentionally* being made to kill nightguards because parents don't trust the brand anymore with their kids makes so much sense as well as William disassembling the original 4 to see what makes *them* work. It's also funny because when you take all of this and William getting springlocked together, it means that William...might have genuinely gotten away with the murders at least for a time. If William got springlocked/killed like all of the other night guards, then it's likely he would've been considered "just another victim." And hell if he was under a false identity, then he might not have been properly identified leading to a 2nd "mysterious disappearance of a FNAF CEO" to the rest of the public.

I think part of that is that it's the only game where the Gameplay itself amounts to very little, and also that there's no minigames. FNAF 2's gameplay leads to Jeremy getting bit and also takes place alongside the SAVE THEM incident. FNAF 3's gameplay leads to Afton being released and ends with the place burning down (whether it was Henry or Micheal or Charlie). FNAF 4 is the other main exception here, and that's mostly because for years people dimissed it to some degree as just a coma dream(despite Scott's thing about 'no random eastereggs' and several details like the Phone Call or the layout callback not fitting that). To this day when you ask someone where FNAF 4 is set they probably say 83 in reference to the minigames despite the fact the actual nights are probably being experienced by Micheal around the time of FNAF 3 and before 6.

With the context of The Week Before(which is a really good excuse to remake this video as it gives way more context), this theory mostly holds up. The only part that was seemingly de-confirmed is the idea Phone Guy..err...Ralph (Rudolph or Randolph?) was being blackmailed by Afton. He's a toadie, just as we thought. That's it. He just really likes Freddy's. Kind of ruins the title, but that's really not a serious issue. He was a Toadie in the 80s, he was a Toadie in the 90s. He also doesn't directly know about experiments(though he still knows a ton of night guards are dying and being covered up). That's all. All that does is cut down assumptions. (Whether or not Henry was framed still unclear, but doesn't matter, he wouldn't do any of this). The book(alongside giving Ralph more character), backs up several things in this video and clarifies things. We know the FNAF 1 location reopened in late 1988 or early 1989 thanks to Die Hard and Sega Genesis references(the former is 1988, the latter is late that year as the Megadrive in Japan, but 1989 in America). We know FNAF 1 was probably in...1994(which doesn't fit the calender OR Matpat, but whatever). Also, it's both mentioned that Ralph was 'suddenly' transferred to Night Shift by 'Management' after years of working dayshift and office stuff(implying the idea William intended to silence him for knowing too much is correct, especially as he contacts a troublesome journalist who also gets killed midway through the book) and that the animatronics are unusually aggressive that week, even compared to Micheals(they attempt to leave the building), which also backs up him being set up. Someone had to get the jounalist killed. There's someone going by 'Dave' you can call, probably William using the Miller Alias again(which further confirms he's the one running things. Even if he was in a database as a suspect for something OR if I was wrong about him not having been convicted and that whole thing from FNAF 1 was retconned, if he's using an alias he could easily be running the place). So it confirms William is running the place. Phone Guy seemingly isn't directly involved in the sense that he doesn't know about any guard experiments, but he still knows night guards are dying left and right, so borderline the same point. He still knows things no one should know, he's still trying to warn the next guy, he still dies probably due to William's interference. The first half of the theory is also backed up by a mention the place closed temporarily (some point before FNAF 1, but after FNAF 2) for 'renovations'. Even if William didn't open this location originally when it opened, he seemingly took over at some point under the name Dave Miller and made some alterations(presumably to help out with his guard scheme). Maybe there's an entrance to an underground bunker somewhere here, maybe a clean up area. The main theory of FNAF 1 being a Guard Harvesting trap is still perfectly strong, even slightly stronger as we have strong evidence William is there under a fake name and the building was altered. The Phone Guy theory is mostly intact too, just different. He's still a Toadie, still covering up criminal activity, and is still probably set up to die by William for knowing too much. He just didn't know AS much as I assumed in the original theory, and honestly I kind of stretched that part a bit to tell a good story, which isn't needed as much now that we know so much about Ralph.
@petergonda1530
@petergonda1530 2 месяца назад
I have something to add to this theory as well. I was listening to the Phone guy calls and also noticed a few other things. In the night 4 call, Phone guy mentions wondering what was in the empty heads in the backstage. I think the previous guards have been stuffed into those backstage suits and possesed them. This would also explain that easter egg of all the heads looking into the camera. There's also the endoskeleton, which I also think is possesed. Phone guy mentions something about the animatronics stuffing an endoskeleton into a person if they play dead, which probably happened with the backstage endo. Overall I think this theory is very cool and I think the original games might have other things like this that haven't been discovered yet.

During the true ending for Pizza Sim when Henry is talking to Scrap Baby he says "You are not here to receive a gift, nor have you been called here by the individual you assume, although you have, indeed, been called." Plus her little speech before Henry interrupts her has lead me to a question. Who did Baby think was in charge of the Pizza Place and why?

I don't think she would be lured by a pizza place owner. It was some sort of trick that Henry did. I am also now curious about that too now that I think about it. My thoughts jump to the puppet because of giving gifts giving life but that's a shallow connection. Fun thing to think about though :)

I'm pretty sure she believes William called them all there. Unlike everyone else, William seems to be the only character in Pizzeria Simulator that is actually aware of what is going on, he says himself "What a deceptive calling; I knew it was a lie the moment I heard it, obviously, but it is intriguing nonetheless." He knows this whole thing is fishy but still decides to show up anyway.

@loganentertainment1814
@loganentertainment1814 2 месяца назад
There’s no doubt Fazbear Entertainment is the embodiment of corporate evil. While yes, William is to blame for most of Fazbears downfall, given before modern FNAF, Fazbear Entertainment was labeled as an Inc. (incorporation), meaning there are people other than Henry and William that would be associated with the business. So if the others knew of the terrible business practices that were in Fazbear, they could have done something, but it’s clear that they didn’t. Although, a corporation tends to have 1 main person in charge, so perhaps the board members would most likely be scared of what William could do if they tried to report him to the authorities? 🤔

honestly, this theory explains a massive problem i've always had with the premise of the first game. and that's fazbear entertainment knowing that the animatronics are possessed and hostile to anyone after dark. it never made sense to me that they would willingly keep hiring night guards when there's no real point in doing so. there's no monetary gain for doing this. it's actually a loss since they're paying people and also paying to clean up the evidence of them dying. on top of this the animatronics would most likely kill and stuff anyone who was stupid or brave enough to attempt to break into and rob the place. so before seeing this video i just assumed this was a case of fazbear entertainment being cartoonishly evil for the sake of it.

Since this is the biggest complaint, let me spell something out. There are multiple explanations as to HOW William can be running the FNAF 1 location. I cited the idea Henry was framed and William was free as it helped out something else, but let's see. William's name stigma might have faded after a while(He's running Afton Robotics), either if he was a suspect, or if he was convicted and just got out on parole due to the weak conviction. In the books most people thought it was him and the lack of bodies got him free. OR he's using an alias ala Dave Miller, in this assumption he was also probably doing this at the FNAF 2 location. Given how bad of shape the company is in I doubt it would be hard for Davey to buy a franchise location. Or some combination of all these points, perhaps his falling out with Henry was later than suspected. We know he had access to the building. It doesn't matte thoughr. My core evidence was intentionally exclusionary for a reason. How and the specifics for William are nice to have, but difficult to prove, but the rock solid evidence prior proves it can be no other known character. Henry would never have allowed guard deaths to go on and especially never instituted a cover up and clean up system(regardless of if he was free or not). Unnamed Business Executives after money wouldn't waste a ton of money cleaning up dead people just to keep a crumbling failing pizza shop running, there isn't the same massive profit motive there is with the Pizzaplex, it's dumb. Miss Afton may or may not exist. Phone Guy wasn't running the place. It pretty much has to be William, he's alive, he's free. Which method specifically he got around the name issue, or if there ever was a name issue in the first place, is irrelevant, just optional strings to fill in the gap to tell the story better. He did it, because no one else could have. William running the FNAF 1 location requires the fewest assumptions and answers the most questions.

Here comes my "dual remnant type theory" :- Young remnant : this type of remnant is made by a young soul as the name :) This remnant is more powerful than the other but it's more unstable. The young soul is easy to manipulate but it's hard to control the remnant made by it. Mature remnant : this type of remnant is made by Mature or old soul :) This remnant is easy to make and a little stable as unlike the other one this has all types of emotions ( as the old was felt more emotions than the young ) . It's just a theory :)

Whilst that is a possibility, with all the potential characterization we do know about Micheal, it’s that he was looking for his Dad rather than trying to help him, seeing as he probably tried to kill his dad in 3. His odor also comes from the fact he is a corpse after he got Enarded.

Ok, so, there's a few spots where you mumble a bit and stumble over your words(Nominally, not Normally in that one spot. As in, he was the head guard on paper, officially, de jure, but he wasn't clocking in weekly, it was more administrative and teaching and middle management and stuff). Maybe you were trying to follow my words too closely, my comment was kind of haphazard and stitched together so just use your own words. Other thing, going back to the Sister Location thing after the initial 'hard to say' would have been a great touch in the middle of the theory(Specifically to prove it's William and prove the motive). Firstly there's the game over screens. Only 3 games in the series with something on them. FNAF 1's stuffing screen(which is the subject of the video), FNAF 2's stuffing screen(which is more personal, not from the camera perspective, interesting, but regardless, explained by being the first place attacks happened), and the cut unused one for...Sister Location. 3 locations with employees in danger, 3 game over screens, all implying a return of somesort(though in FNAF 2's case we know everyone makes it out). Perhaps Baby was right. You WON'T die. A trend develops. And there ARE deaths here. Maybe not nightguard deaths specifically, since the newest evidence suggests the guard who came before Micheal was actually Cassie's Dad(who may or may not be everyone's favourite lobe-less lad, Jeremy Fitzgerald, long story, different theory), but two technicians die during the events of the story, and a body being found in the vents is mentioned by Helpy. Ole Slick Willy clearly knows how to cover up a death or two. And, on the subject , WIlliam is running this operation. While it's heavily disputed when exactly SL takes place, we know for 100% it's after 1985. There's a lot of dispute as to whether the 'unfortunate closing of FFP, the stage was set for another contender' line is referring to the timing of the rental location OR the timing of Circus Babies Pizza World, but in this case, doesn't matter. The rental service 100% came after the Pizza World, so either way, the earliest point in the timeline this could be is 1985. The latest the actual gameplay could be is...well potentially as late as the 2020s if you assume Springtrap called up Micheal, probably 90s more realistically, and the latest Pizza World and Elizabeth's death could be is after FNAF 2 and before FNAF 1. Why does this matter? Because it PROVES, for 100%, Afton was free, and out of prison, and capable of running a business during the time period in question. Circus Baby's pizza world happened at some point from 1985-1990ish and the rental service would have followed shortly, the whole time period post-MCI pre-Follow Me is covered. AND, HE WAS ALREADY DOING EXPERIMENTS AT THE RENTAL SERVICE. He knew! He was more than capable of doing this. Oh, and how did Afton get the idea for this? Why use the animatronics to do it? Well exactly when he learned about remnant is unclear, I can answer why this idea is so simple for him, with another question. Who was the first guard ever to witness animatronics attacking staff at night? Well we know this problem started at the FNAF 2 location, so it would be Guard 01 at the FNAF 2 location, before Jeremy and Fritz. The guy who got transferred to dayshift....and then disappeared right alongside a bunch of kids...and we see that night guard in Save Them on rare occasions. It's Willliam. William was the first person in the series to see this behavior, he was the guy who personally told Phone Guy and the engineers about it. And if you barely got away with killing that second batch of kids, why try again, why not go after softer targets when you know first hand just how well that will work. (Other than that, mostly fine, but I think using audio clips in a couple more points to help push along evidence would help. Stuff like Phone Guy saying he knows what it looks like when the teeth and eyeballs pop out the mask or "I'm not implying that they died" for his bit to show how he knows things no normal person should know. Phone Guy in FNAF 2 explaining how the first guard complained about the animatronics and they're trying to figure it out for that part of the video. Phone Dude in FNAF 3 mentioning finding the tapes behind the false wall, maybe playing the audio over the night 5 minigame in 3 where we see that room in 8-bit to emphasize it was right next to Springbonnie in the fnaf 1 location.) So if you wanted to re-do any of this or clean up the vid that's my suggestions
@kalkuttadrop6371
@kalkuttadrop6371 3 месяца назад
Also, I've got a suggestion for a smaller theory. Two halves, one chill, one new and scary I discovered myself. It's about dates. How Fazbears has a consistent work week in both 1 and 2, same payday on the same days of the month. This means FNAF 1 is in 1992(And then quickly explain how Matpat never actually proved 1993, he proved 1991-1996 range and picked 1993 because of the IRL killing). The only canon mention of a 3 date in the series is 2023 for FNAF 6, but that's FNAF 6, which as the opening cutscene describes has been around for 'months'(stuff's being trying to get in for months). There's really only enough time for Henry to get everything together if it's a good bit after 3, which would put Fnaf 3 in 2022, which fits FNAF 1 in 1992 thanks to the 30 years thing. Also, while doing this, you realize that despite being called 'night shifts', it's actually 12AM-6AM. The Dayshift that came before your nightshift ISN'T paired with your nightshift, it's on the previous day technically, it's the one FOLLOWING that's on the same day. This means you get your paychecks the same day as you complete your work, just later that day instead of dead early morning. You can use this to do some fun stuff like finding out the day Phone Guy died. It's November 4th 1992 btw. But, and this is the new part...we find some...interesting details in FNAF 2 if we apply this logic. Like for example, the first nightshift was on November 1st, which implies the first day it was open to customers was Halloween. That's fun. But this also means that a 'previous dayshift' is on the prior calendar day, and if something is 'tomorrow', it's not only after your nightshift, but the next nightshift, since again, already after midnight. Why does this matter? Well, on Night 6, Jeremy is told the building is on lockdown, and that there's one more event scheduled for tomorrow, a birthday. Most people read this as the next dayshift is Jeremy's, and by the time Fritz Smith(who is probably Micheal Afton) is on duty the Bite of 87 had already happened earlier that day, hence Jeremy being gone. But think about this carefully. It's already like 1 in the morning when Jeremy is told this, it's November 13th. He wasn't even supposed to take that shift, it was a mistake because he didn't get the memo about them being closed. The final event, that birthday party, isn't happening later that day, Jeremy's already worked a nightshift he can't go do another dayshift right after he needs sleep, and also THE BUILDING IS ON LOCKDOWN AND JEREMY WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. The 13th is a wash, no body is working there. The newspaper doesn't contradict this either, it just says they're closing their doors(which they are, they shut down that day and are only opening up for one last event after) and that the animatronics have malfunctions(which William already told them about, doesn't mean the bite has happened yet). By the 14th(Which is tomorrow from when PhoneGuy said it on early morning 13th), they have reopened for their last event, the party. Jeremy got transferred to Day Shift, his shift starts after the morning nightshift ends. So they hired a new night guard to fill the roll, Fritz Smith, probably Micheal. So what, I hear you ask, so Night 7 is technically before the Bite of 87 by a couple hours instead of happening later that night after the bite, why does this tiny timeline detail matter? Because it means Fritz Smith worked his shift right before the bite. Let me ask one simple question. What did '''Fritz''' do on that last nightshift? He tampered with the animatronics...and made them all hyper aggressive...just hours before the dayshift started and Jeremy showed up(with instructions to stay close to the animatronics). And they were hyper aggressive against...guards. Yes. I'm suggesting Micheal Afton(if he is Fritz Smith) caused the Bite of 87(alongside having already caused the Bite of 83). I'm not sure what his motive for tampering with them was, maybe he was trying to free the spirits, or maybe he intended to sabotage his dad unaware Slick Willy had skedaddled days earlier when the investigators closed in. But remember, this was Mike's first shift, and he got no Phone call. He had none of the context for the worsening state of the animatronics or the fact Jeremy had been told to stay close to the animatronics. So he set them all to 20, and then the next morning they did something they'd never done before... Who did it isn't super important. Circumstancial evidence(with the beak lines in UCN and the easter egg in 4) points to Toy Chica, but whether her, or Mangle, or any of them, Mike once again got an innocent person maimed for his rash action. Thankfully Jeremy survived, and in fact if he is indeed Cassie's dad continued working with the company for some time afterwards, but still.

good theory but it is a bit more questionable now as who we play in fnaf 1 because if a lot of people died, than one of them could be michael himself, and we know he has been chasing Afton in fnaf 2, so he would be one of the first person to be there, but if he were first one, he would've died also the way you described phone guy fits a bit more michael's description, so if this theory is true, either michael survives (again), or he is just dead for no reason and you can also argue if michael was dead before the fnaf1 events, than the fire reasons could be because Afton really wanted the random guy gone so he added things he did and also odor and general unprofessionalism because it would be funny the theory feels intended, but raises too many questions that i don't think they can be answered
@Vanzolin

The idea is we play as Micheal in those games going under fake names. Assuming sister location was before the oder would be because he's a corpse. If we assume it's after then, it's because he's trying to un do his father's work, so he tempers with the animatronics, subsequently getting dead bodies all over him. It is possible he could have died if we dont play as him, but I think baby would say otherwise lol. But cool thing to point out and thank you for the comment :)

@@Vanzolin i was reffering to the fact that michael comes off as insistant, his goal is to find his father, we get this from the speach, "i am going to come find you", so michael has to be one of the first persons that would come so what i wanted to show is that this theory could provide us with a phone guy example, and that is michael himself, and we play as random people in fnaf 1 and 2 it's the only way that makes sense and we get some confirmation from the supposed death in fnaf 1 being by golden freddy

I read this in 2 different was so I'll give answers to both the ways I read it so that way hopefully you get your question answered lol Option 1, sending Michael to FNaF 1: Afton never actually sent Michael to FNaF 1, Michael sent himself. After being scooped he sent himself in a mission to find his father, so he went under fake names and went to every establishment un doing what his father had done (Hence why he was fired for bad smell and animatronic tampering) Option 2, sending Michael to the FNaF 5 location: This ones really interesting, in Michaels monolog in the ending of FNaF 5 he says "I did it, I found it, it was right where you said it would be, they were all there." And not to long after says "And I found her. I, put her back together just like you asked me too, she's free now." This explains that Afton told him where his sister was this whole time (Hence the name Sister Location) and he was sent there by his father to rescue her and put her back together. There he found out his fathers miss doings. This sent him on his mission to undo all of Williams miss doings That should cover everything for that question, it was great talking with you and I do sincerely hope to see you around the channel more! I love being asked questions like this and generally interacting with people like you! :)

"And to you, my brave volunteer. Who somehow found this job listing not intended for you. Although, there was a way out planned for you, I have a feeling that's not what you want. I have a feeling that you are right where you want to be." This implies its not Michael since FNAF 6 was meant to tie up loose ends it makes sense Henry would want Michael to be the night guard. So this means it was someone else. But who else in the series would not want a way out? Who else would have a motive to stay there even when death is guaranteed. And even if we say we play as Michael, who did Henry originally intend that position for? Who else would he have wanted to be the night guard? It leaves way more questions then answers and throws a wrench in who we play as in FNaF 6
@zetorocks811
@zetorocks811 3 месяца назад
@@Vanzolinno, the job was intended for just a random person. Henry never planned on Mike being there, he probably thought Mike was already dead because of SL. Also at the start of the game we are in the perspective of someone other than Mike, a random person which is what Henry intended
@Vanzolin

It could be the 1987 bite victim. Afton would know who he is because he was in FNaF 2 while it was on lock down. Puppet would know him since he was at FNaF 2. Baby and the others its a bit more complicated and I'm not sure about those ones but still possible probably. Not to mention since the frontal lobe was bit off which would make him not feel fear so he probably wouldn't want a way out un like some random person. I also don't think Henry would over look Michael, I doubt he even knew Michael got scooped to be honest. But who knows

@Vanzolin
@Vanzolin 3 месяца назад
This is really all dependant on where you think Sister location is situated. Most believe that it was way back in-between 1983-1987. With that as the case he was going to every location to undo what Afton did. (Hence why he was always fired for bad smell and animatronic tampering) So the theory goes if he caught wind of Henrys plan he would not need to go there since Henry was doing his job for him, putting him at peace. But if we consider it as fazbear frights considering the sign in that cut scene shows there. Yeah he prob did work in the FNaF 3 location then and burned it down thinking he killed William after he found him. Which would have made him think he found him and stopped it once and for all (Also why FNaF was supposed to end at FNaF 3) Both options are possible and both options lead to scenarios where he still wouldn't be the night guard in FNaF 6. I do love this back and fourth we are having though. You do also bring up amazing points :)

Convicted: "having been declared guilty of a criminal offense by the verdict of a jury or the decision of a judge." The books are slightly different then the games, in this case someone was actually charged with the crimes due to them being declared guilty. If they were released due to lack of evidence they would not have been convicted because they could not have been found guilty
