@@jimroman oh yes, we shot this but I also had some 4k video close up shots of the chandelier and sculptures in the theater. You can see them here... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c3CEfcqSKP8.html
One of St Louis’s true gems. I was supposed to be there later this week for the production of Hamilton. Instead, we’ll wait patiently until the cast, crew, patrons, and staff can all gather safely again once more. 🎼🎵🎶❤️
I'm not even a drone geek, and that was the first thing I recognized... the fantastic skill of the drone operator! I also thought about all the planning with the lighting throughout the theatre. What a wonderful video! Thank you for creating this masterpiece!
As an occasional employee of a theater in New Orleans I thank you for the opportunity to tour your gorgeous venue. I very much am missing the New Orleans Saenger theater right now. Stay safe and well.
Can't love this more- beautifully done. Thank you for making and posting. I work at a small theater in California, and am experiencing feelings of sadness and loss at the prospect of not being able to recover from closing this season. This is a lovely thing to see and hear right now. Thanks again.
I've wanted to go to St. Louis to see the Fox for almost 30 years so this was really amazing to watch. Could someone that knows the layout post of commentary of where the drone is in the shots that are not in the auditorium? There are so many beautiful spaces that I"ve never seen in photos. I have a book about the Fox from 1985. Has there been a book since then? If not, there should be.
I had the privilege of playing the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis in 1983 with Herschel Bernardi in a tour of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. Truly an amazing magical place. What is the song on this video? I'm not familiar with it.
I don't know Mr. Sossi. They can only shut down a theatre for a relatively short time during regular times. You'd have to have acres of carpet ready to go, a crew that is rehearsed and ready at 11:00 PM. That would be a huge undertaking! There would be little room for error. I want to watch! ;)
