I told myself when I land my first high paying job I will purchase Natasha Denona Gold palette. Well… this week I purchased it and I am so proud of myself to be able to purchase it and able to fully enjoy it :)
I lived for the “I’m high maintenance and I won’t apologize for it” Tati and I’m living for this “Grateful minimalist” Tati. Loving seeing you evolve ❤️❤️.
I was wondering if you could do a “is it worth it after 2 years “ luxury beauty tools update video. Products like the dyson and some other expensive tools you may have tried . ❤️
Been watching since the Madness Monday, bad lighting, closet days, back when the whole "beauty community" was you, xsparkage, vintageortacky, and a REALLY young Nikkie. I'm so happy to see you looking so happy again.
You can tell Tati is keeping what she truly loves and no what's trendy because I haven't seen anyone else hyping Lorac lately. I like how fresh the vibe is on this video.
I am an ex-beauty collector. I LOVE beauty and makeup, but I've realized I'm never going to be an influencer, I'm never going to be pro MUA, I only wear makeup on weekends, and I only have one face, so I don't need 20-30 palettes like I used to have. I now declutter twice a year and find so much joy decluttering and panning products. I even decluttered my Tati Beauty palette. With that said, I still have 12 eyeshadow palettes, and 4 face palettes.
I think this video is so significant to the time we’re in with cosmetics in 2021. I remember in 2012-2016 buying SO MUCH MAKEUP and wanting to have a huge collection. Now it’s 2021 and I really just love having my favorite things and I try new products here and there but usually only once i run out of what I was using before.
Out of my numerous palettes, yours is my absolute favorite! Your palette has absolutely everything I could ever want! I hope you come out with a new one soon!!!!
I probably own close to a hundred palettes, accumulated over quite a bit of time. These actually rarely “go bad.” And the truth is that this is one of the cheapest obsessions you can have: not jewelry, not cars, not furs, not husbands . . . Lipsticks might be cheaper but not as much fun.
I love LOVE how Tati takes her time explaining why she loves the color/texture, she’s so patient and funny when it matters, the editing is so smooth and easy to watch, this is exactly why i’m watching Tati and why i’ll be watching again! ❤️
When a beauty guru who reviews makeup for a living is decluttering to just 15 pallets, it really sends a message to the viewers who have 30+ pallets.... A message to buy these 15 pallets.
I’ve about 70 palettes and that’s after a big declutter last year. I just love them. I try not to buy as many as I used to but I still get excited when one comes in the door.
Can’t wait for another Tati Beauty palette! The textured neutrals is my all time favorite and any event I have I use that one! My best friends wedding is coming up and I will be using that one !!! We need moreeee Tati beauty palettes!!!
@@ammygutierrez6712 I have way too many and probably should also too a declutter because this one definitely checks all the boxes for many of the looks I want to do!
When I moved last year I got rid of soooo many pallets. When I moved this year I only kept two! I lug my ABH Sultry everywhere and use it in everything, including blush and for my brows. I’m hitting pan on the colors I use and am super proud.
The ONLY palette I’ve ever hit pan on is the Tati Beauty palette. I have a ton of other palettes in my collection but since owning the Tati Beauty I barely use any others. Tati is the best ❤️❤️❤️
I wanted it when it came out and was going to buy some for friends and family but got nervous about it when she disappeared from social media completely, then totally forgot about it til now. May have to look back into getting it.
@@itsleighnola I really enjoy it! The formula is great and I love that they’re really usable neutrals since I mostly wear ‘office appropriate’ looks anyway!
I have a tons of palettes myself and the first palette I’ve ever hit pan on is Tati’s palette also. I hope she releases more makeup soon! 💗 The only other palette is one color from my Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde palette (I just hit pan on the one color in early September of this year). 💕
I definitely appreciate Tatis approach to makeup where she reviews and highlights all products, not only the trendy, viral ones. I hope she continues to do so. For example I love Lorac eyeshadows and very few people still talks about them. I think in general she always do a fantastic job 👏
I have at least 10 palettes, but that is a massive reduction from the 30+ I used to have. The pandemic has really made me change and rethink my make up, both in application and the amount of items I actually need vs use.
I adore makeup but have challenged myself during Melbourne’s never-ending lockdown to a palette no-buy- for the past couple of months I’ve only been using matte bronzer on the eyes. Love this vid and your spirit as always Tati! Xx
Having struggled or still struggling with my anxiety I haven’t really thought about makeup in forever but watching this video sparked a little something in me again. It’s good to have you back! 💜
I'm an English teacher and makeup lover/hoarder as well, my stash contains over 50 palettes, I wear makeup 6 out of seven days a week, makeup is my way of starting the day, even if it's putting it on at 6 a.m. 😄❤
I am OBSESSED with declutters. You are inspiring me to cut down my collection because I'm moving and need to get rid of expired makeup. Love you Tati! I own about 150 palettes and the new pat mcgrath one on the way. I cannot help myself. When I move in 3 weeks I'm getting rid of 100
@@jj2427 it's too much. Over the last few years it's been too much AND I have the new pat mcgrath coming in the mail. I can't wait to move and just get rid of at least 100
Oh bless, I probably have over 75 palettes…I try to rotate them every couple of weeks. And I rarely declutter them. They’re the one category in my collection I truly LOVE and that I can never get enough of.
during the pandemic, i often did bright makeup looks just to sit around in my house. playing with colourfull eyeshaow is fun and it made me feel like i was taking care of myself. It was part of my "lets try and keep a shred of sanity" routine :P
OMG! I am a collector for sure. I have around 150 palettes in my collection thanks to my purchases and sub boxes and I still buy when something new comes out that speaks to me. I also have some special limited edition palettes as well, like the Game of Thrones one from Urban Decay. I actually purchased the vault on that one. I also have Tati's first palette and several Natasha Denona palettes and one Pat McGrath one. They all have different aspects that I love about them and yes I keep just about everything. Lately I have been trying to challenge myself to start rotating my palette use by using a different palette every day to justify keeping them all. I have given some away that I got in sub boxes if I didn't like the color story, but that has been few and far between. I only have 1 friend to give them to. I don't think I could ever wind my collection down to 15 palettes. I take my makeup seriously as an investment in myself and my mental health. It makes me feel good and gives me confidence, which as a plus sized woman when I get compliments on my makeup, boots my self esteem and it's a nice change from the derogatory remarks about my weight. Makeup was a game changer for me. I only started doing my makeup at 42, now I'm 46 and I can't say enough about how it changed my life for the better, so like I said earlier, it's an investment in me and so very worth it.
👍👍👍Just fabulous! And it’s great that powder eyeshadow lasts practically forever, no risk of bacteria, compared to cream products. Keep having fun and enjoying your stash, especially if it makes you feel fabulous all over, major Bonus!😃
It made my day when I saw you shared the love for the Pür Barbie palette! Bought it in hopes to spice up my collection and haven’t found anything quite like it since!!! ✨✨
Your vibe is so good like the OG Tati, it’s a pleasure seeing you back and happy, full of giggles. I really hope your new journey leads you to all the happiness you deserve. So good to have you back, you do it like no one else can🥰🥰🥰
I love how much more relatable you have been since returning. I find myself feeling like I'm sitting with a friend just enjoying a shared love of makeup. Have a wonderful day Tati! 🧡
over the years i’ve definitely had a total of at least 100 palettes. i declutter once a year so i got rid of a lot throughout the years and now have about 20 palettes. i think they’re honestly one of the hardest makeup products to declutter!!
the textures neutrals palette is still my all time favorite. If my house was on fire and I only had time to grab one thing off my vanity as I ran out of my room, it would be that palette!
We had fires close to us so actually packed go bags to ease our anxiety. I allowed myself 2 plastic shoe boxes of make-up. I chose favourites and limited editions. For everything that was left, I took a second look at and picked out a couple of items. I then boxed everything else up and gave to my niece and her workmates. My niece told me that one of her workmates is struggling and it felt like Christmas to her. This gave me all the warm fuzzies. I am not hoarding makeup anymore.
Hi Tati, love that you are back and you are not holding back. Do wear what you love! Love the bracelets, who are they by? Silver and gray, so elegant.♥
I forgot how much I missed Tati until I started watching her videos. The editing of each video with the b roll views of swatches, in action shots, etc. Unmatched.
I have over 20 palettes, and I don't regret having them. They bring so much joy. All my palettes are bold and colorful, that is why I always have room to expand my collection more 😂
My favorite palettes are my ViseArts and my Natasha Denonas. The rest of my collection I could part with and not cry over it. I especially love the small form factor of the ViseArt palettes, makes them so easy to store and the shadows are to die for 😍
@@reginaroza3154 Viseart ND and Pat Mcgrath for those wild nights. I am 71. My grandkids play with the ones I get tired of. Thinking of checking out Sydney Grace, any feedback?
I've decluttered a lot and found myself hanging onto a palette for one or 2 shades. De-potted them and made my own custom palette that I reach for the majority of the time. I still have quite a few palettes, but they are ones I love everything in them 😁.
I agree, MAC shadows are beautiful. The quality is there and you control the intensity of the look. They’re beautiful and a staple. They’ve earned their seat on the vanity.
I only have 3 palettes, I'm form Argentina, and the majority of de brands you mention are even more expensive here. So I have to wait to travel to get a new one. And since Covid I don't use much make up either. But I've loved to level up my collection. Of course I would keep in mind your tips
I have NEVER purchased another eyeshadow palette since I bought the TatiBeauty Palette, it is EVERYTHING, well coordinated by Tati, the formula, the variety of textures!!! That palette is GOLD!
@@tq5620 oh yes, the formula and the colors are so versatile, you can transform from simple to glam in minutes with those glitters! I will never stop talking about how good Tati’s palette is. Give credit where credit is due!!! Value for your money!
This is the first makeup video that i watch in over a year, and wow. I feel so much nostalgia. I missed you Tati ❤ sending lots of love and prayers your way. Thank you for your videos.
I wear make-up everyday even during this pandemic. It's very therapeutic to do my make up in the early mornings. Especially during this pandemic. Just like painting is very therapeutic for me too . Makeup is just another form of art for me. My hubby will give me compliments but I just do it for myself.
I use makeup as therapy too! I have a toddler and one on the way so I’m usually so tired that I don’t do my make up like I used too. But I’d love to get back into it
I love that you're getting rid of the excess palettes because let's be real, nobody can use that much makeup and it's just a makeup graveyard (having said that, I'm a bit envious of all the palettes you have). It's so nice that you kept the palettes that you truly love and use, not just because they're popular or collabs. I do wish that you would make a declutter video where you show all the palette and open them even if you're going to get rid of it. I'm just super curious to see what you have, haha, and I love to look at pretty palettes. I think I have 11 eyeshadow palettes and a few singles and quads. It's hard to pick a favourite because some palettes are super unique and gorgeous but I don't use that often and some are really boring neutrals that I use all the time. My current most used palette is probably my small neutral palette from Essence. Nothing special but it's a great companion palette. My current favourite is The Balm Foiled Again palette because it's a very versatile neutral palette.
When I was younger, I used to hit pan on shadows pretty often because I used such a heavy hand when grabbing the shadow on the brush. Nowadays, not so much.
🌼When I hit pan it’s usually if I have dedicated myself to using up that palette. Which is usually for me over a month. But I have never used up a whole palette before.🌼
I have 1 eyeshadow pallet! I love makeup, however I don’t wear it often, so I only purchase 1 product in each “category” (1 mascara, 1 foundation, 1 blush, 1 lipstick). Great job decluttering. Doesn’t it make you feel so clean? I love the post decluttering feeling!
You lived my dream. I'm also in the process of having only one of each product. Except for eyeshadow palettes, where I like to have a choice. But a mascara. One. Foundation. No buy for several months
I have 18 palettes currently, including yours, Tati! I really need to do a declutter, but sometimes I just enjoy looking at them, the colors, and playing!
I have 5 palettes 🎨. One of them is your Neutral Pallet; patiently waiting for your Cool Pallet. All I want for Christmas 🎄 is a Tati Cool Pallet... 😉 🎶
I love love love the Patrick Ta palette and I didn’t think I would. Glad you’re hanging onto it! Also… love this new phase you’re going through. Loved you before, love you still. Loyal fan, so I always will.
I have eight pallettes but I regularly grab two. My Tati pallette is my favorite because I can go from work to evening so quickly and the formula is so amazing. I haven’t found another like it. I’m saving for Scott Barnes
I love how excited you get about eyeshadows. I thought I was the only one who gets such satisfaction from a gorgeous color and swatch. You are my spirit animal Tati
At the beginning of the year I owned 41 eyeshadow palettes, I now own 13 palettes, 7 are ND. I love her formulations & colour stories, but I also love that her pans are removable & magnetic. I use my ND palettes as an extension of my singles, I pop the shadows out to build dupe palettes. They really help keep my collection small, but it also allows me to get to know my collection. I wish more brands would make palettes with removable pans.
My bestie in high school reapplied her blush in every class. She hit pan every 6 weeks. Still blows my mind. I’m now 35 and still never used a full blush
I want to see what you are decluttering too!!! Declutter videos are some of my favorites! Definitely yes to the small palettes video! I’m over here with over 100 palettes. 🙊 I’ve been a lover of makeup and RU-vid for at least 8 years. My collection has grown significantly. I even started a channel last year because I love it so much!
my obsession is with concealers. I currently have 13, in heavy rotation. I ordered another two and they should arrive shortly. Pallets...I have over five...OMG...about 10. Hello to all of you beauty addicts out there! lOVE YOU ALL, AND LOVE YOU, TATI, for bringing us together.
Oh man I’m so proud of you for decluttering! I just got rid of over 100 pallets. I should have a channel with how much makeup I collect or “hoard” as my husband calls it 😆. I’m down to 12 drawers and 120 pallets but this makes me want to get rid of more!
In this past year since we’ve been at home a lot, I actually spend more time on my makeup since I am on video calls all day. I feel like I need to doll up more when I am on a mediocre laptop camera.
No joke… Your Warm Neutrals Palette is my absolute favorite. I reach for it every single day I put makeup on (granted I only have about 5 palettes) and it’s just so fitting for any look I’m going for, even if I’m just using one shade!
Really proud of you tati! Never thought I'd see the day that your collection would be only 15 palettes. I think i have about 80 . I think these days it's so easy to collect so much more between subscription boxes, etc.
Currently I have 16 pallets. I’ve gifted, donated, rehomed, and tossed out over 50 pallets in the last 3 years. These days I only keep what I use. My favorite pallet is the Textured Neutrals Vol 1 by Tati Beauty. Of course. 😊
My cousin and I love watching your videos! She was sooo happy to see you back. Please keep her in your prayers, she is fighting for her life on the ventilator due to covid 🙏
I have 32 eyeshadow palettes and I’m planning on a few more over the next few months, but I have been on a low-buy this year. 1 per month or so is a big departures from the 3ish per month I WAS purchasing year before last! And granted I have a RU-vid channel as well, but I like to focus more on loving what I have or rounding out my collection rather than reviewing new products.
I have 5 Morphe palettes and use them every day....matt and glitter. Very reasonable, too. However, I have about 25 Mac single pots and about 40 Splash glitter pots. 😀 Also, I mark the items I like best with a dot of red nail polish. 💅
I always have one eyeshadow pallette, and when I'm finished with that one (or it expires 😅) I buy a new one. I buy new things only if they are needed 😊
Really wish more people were like you!! People talk about being eco-friendly and clean beauty and sustainability, but nothing is more sustainable or eco-friendly than buying a product and using all of it. Kudos to you!
I've been thinking of only using my oldest palettes until they're gone before using any newer ones. I only buy if it's a super good sale and after lots of consideration at this point.
@@annameer1767 thanks for your words of encouragement 😊 For me that's how it is all of my life, everyone around me is like that, so it's easy. It's a simple way of living, you are not obsessed with things and it's freeing. But that's not for everyone, and that is okay. ✌🏼
I have like 7 eye palettes and my favourite ever is ABH Sultry... It is soooooo pigmented, so sophisticated, looks just glamorous and I love how I feel about it. I could wear it every day for the rest of my life. I just love it. Those neutral-cool tones fit me just perfectly 😍
Way to go girl! Right now I have 34 eyeshadow palettes in my collection. I love all of my palettes though, and wouldn’t separate from any of them. Even though it’s a lot and I don’t get to show them the love they all deserve, but they’re all so magical✨
I have 40 palettes. That number includes quads. I can honestly say I use all of them. I use a different one each day and when I have gone through them all...I start over. Once used, it goes into a separate drawer. There are a couple that I don't really like and need to get rid of, but want to give them one more try. And YES! Tati's palette is one of my favorites!
As someone who is kind of the everyday plain person in makeup I actually have 5/6 pallets just because I want options but do I realistically always use them no. My favorite is your pallet and a morphe one that just works for me in the work place as a teacher!☺️
hehe :D do you get looks when you wear colourful looks? :D I'm a teacher as well and my kids love my eye make up.. but my colleagues - they give me the "wtf is she having in her face look" :D
Wearing colorful eyeshadow everyday has absolutely been a therapeutic life-raft I’ve clung to over this past year+ of growing my gray hair out, COVID, politics, family & all our worldwide societal dramas - I may have missed a day or two, but the practice brings me so much joy & satisfaction!
I hear you I’d gotten off makeup after I retired, but medically induced menopause after emergency radical breast cancer surgery in Summer20 had me literally staggering to a Marionnaud, 2 days after discharge
Goodness dear@@gypsysnickerdoodle4354, I hope your healing has been good & am so glad we share the same satisfaction in eyeshadow - I had a bowel resection surgery in early 2020 was too reeling with a fresh surgery & all the strangeness of the world! Makeup therapy for the win!!!
I know you might not wanted to mention it but I can’t help myself. Your TatiBeauty palette exceeds all!!! 🥰 It’s sooo good and my absolute favorite palette of all times!! 🥲🤤💎
