Pakistani dramas have a HUGE indian viewership. Bollywood and lollywood are both watched by both countries because we are all 1 and our industries use the same langauge
Yep i strongly agree with you. indian movies are very popular in pak and I've also seen a lot of indian influencers and people talking about paki dramas so yes
@@iamrocker101nahh personally when it comes to movies i prefer indian movies over Pakistani and when it comes to dramas i prefer paki dramas. So it's everybody's personal preferences
Pakistanis have been following Bollywood movies for many years. Now, many Indians are also watching Pakistani dramas in the same way. And yes, we do understand each other's language almost wholly.
True there's so much more in Bollywood like budget, cinematography but comparing to our indian dramas Pakistani dramas are way better 😂😂@@riyasaharia2079
Indian dramas are like 🎢 rollercoasters-you never know when you'll hit the next plot twist! One minute, someone’s in a coma 😴, the next minute they’re back with a new face (thanks to plastic surgery 🏥) and a thirst for revenge. And let’s not forget those epic slow-motion stares 👀 that last longer than my phone’s battery on 5%! ChatGPT 😂😂😂
Indians watch both Dramas and Music... Coke studio Pakistan, Hum Channel and many RU-vid channels & other ways we are connected in many ways... Especially since the Pakistani dramas are short and have very good storyline and Urdu and Hindi is similar we watch them a lot...
Yes but one watched only one. Those dramas get abrupt endings which is weird. Those serials are like our old serials with realistic acting without pops and bangs and special effects.
nope i have not watched any of pakistani serials .. the most i have watched from pakistan is pasoori song.. lol now i realise that i havent watched kdramas also .. why tf ppl love dramas .. i think girls like it more
I highly recommend the last song that showed up, Sanson Ki Mala covered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The whole thing is emotional as the video is a tribute to his uncle, Nusrat.
"Indian dramas are like the ultimate endurance test. You start watching one episode, and the next thing you know, it’s five years later, the main character has survived 37 near-death experiences, 18 marriages, and still somehow finds time for dramatic slow-motion eyelash blinks. Honestly, the suspense of 'Will they ever end?' is more intense than the plot itself!" 😂😂
I am Pakistani but British, so honestly, I like it all, they all remind me of desi culture. I liked watching bollywood movies when I was younger with my siblings, and I watched some (2-3) Pakistani dramas with my parents, and it brought us together. Alot of them seem to be very depressing tho lol. I watched Indian dramas too when I was little. Some of them made me laugh because a lady would be turning into a snake or a fly, lol. Honestly, it all feels like it's a part of my culture. Like I think alot of desis that are not from their home countries relate and learn about their culture through growing up with bollywood and music and dramas. It's super cool.
Same I'm british Pakistani and have grown up watching both bollywood and lollywood. There's a lot of gems in Pakistans industry but not as many people explore it unfortunately. I am also a student of kathak and classical music and Pakistani kathak legends like Maharaj Ghulam Hussain Kathak, Nahid Siddiqui, Nighat Chaudhry, fasih ur rehman etc inspire me, and obviously the legendary singers like NFAK, Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Surindar Kaur (originally from Lahore, Abida Parveen, Shamshad Begum, Farida Khanum, Malika-e-Tarannum Noor Jahan, Tassawur Khanum, Iqbal Bano, Nayyara Noor (Mother of Jaffer Zaidi, the lead vocalist of the popular band Kaavish)...and many more
@@RandomzzOfficialThat is so cool! Wow, what a great interest. I didn't even know about that. Honestly, channels like this are what made me want to delve into my culture as I don't really have anyone who shares it around me. Idk much, but I'm starting with music, looking to going to the poetry in the future, etc. But it's my first time hearing about the Kathak. It's definitely something to look into in the future.
Definitely *AWARI Nescafe basement* *CHITHI NA KOYI SANDESH by JAGJIT SINGH* (lyrics+ story= emotional) *LAGA CHUNARI MAI DAAG* ( movie- dil hi to hai) *YEH DUNIYA AGAR MIL* (movie-pyaasa-1957) Believe me the above mentioned pieces are masterpieces written with pain and execucted with utmost intensity... Dont miss any of them. U will be losing diamonds in search of Gold specially the Last one
pakistani dramas are extremely popular in India and bollywood is loved by most Pakistanis. New pakistani drama "kabhi main kabhi tum" has been a blockbuster hit in India and Pakistan both because Hindi and Urdu are basically very similar and u can understand mostly EVERYTHING the other person is saying be it hindi or urdu
@@iamrocker101 there are majority of people who watches pk drama... just check the trending videos on youtube and you will always see 2 or 3 dramas there..
Indian dramaas have more plot twists than a bowl of noodles! Characters come back from the dead more often than my Wi-Fi reconnects, and one misunderstanding can last longer than my new year’s resolutions. I mean, who needs time travel movies when you have a single flashback episode that can take up an entire week! 😂
Ok to answer your question I as an indian consume Pakistani music a lot. Apart from that I did try to get into their dramas at first when it came to India at around 2013-14, there was a channel called Zindagi which had started which exclusively just showed Pakistani dramas and I did use to watch it back then and I did like a few shows like zindagi gulzar hai, Maat and then recently Suno Chanda but apart from that I did not get into it much cause tbh many of the shows have the same damsel in distress formula who gets married to an awful man and gets insulted by her in laws similar to the Indian serials, the only difference being that Pakistani dramas end faster and Indian serials just keeps going on and on 😂, so that's a plus point. And in movies I have watched like one movie called Cake which was available on Netflix. So yeah for me Pakistani music is 🤌🏽
If you want emotional, please do "Awari" by Soch on Nescafé Basement 2012. The song also has a version with Momina sung for the Bollywood movie Ek Villain. But nothing hits like the Nescafe version for me.
I am from Pakistan but I love Indian music , Bollywood as much as I love Pakistani dramas. We never think that it is an indian content, I used to watch Indian movies ,song since childhood. For me music is something that can take you back to old memories." Jiya dhadak jaye" was a song that I love listening to when I was in 3 class❤My whole childhood revolves around watching Indian dramas also like CID, aahat ✨🤍
Both hindi and urdu are from same parent language. And both are Indian languages.😂😂😂. They adopted Urdu as their national language.HINDI is a more sanskritised version and URDU is more persianised version of same hindustani language originated from Indian land.
Broski is onto nothing. Modern India dudnt exist when Urdu was made. It was Mughal India and British India and before that it was different kingdoms with different rulers.
pakistani dramas are not the mainsteams though but are popular on youtube and because of the channel named zindagi something ...but its popular in the demographic between 24-28 in tier 2 tier 3 cities in the hindi belt.....and the ott series and bollywood movies special of 2000's and the music of the time is quite popular in the pakistani demographic ....personally i like the folk, urdu language and the rock songs in general. I have some friends from their on the snap.
Do include " dulhe ka sehra suhana lagta hai" sung by nusrat fateh ali khan from the dhadkan movie ft akshay kumar if you wanna add an emotional song to the podcast
What the hell corbon is not a mineral there is no such thing as Carbon ore on earth. Diamond which is an allotrope ( not ore) of carbon is hardest thing on earth.
As an Indian i have no shame in admitting from story and execution perspective pakistani dramas are light years ahead of Indian dramas .The same can be said about Indian movies which are much much better in terms of presentation and execution compared to its Pakistani counterpart. The difference is based majorly on budgets and motivation. Some Pakistani dramas are based on highlighting societal issues which Indian dramas can only imagine to deal with .In the initial phase Indian dramas were good but now it is disposable at best and problematic at worst . In terms of movies because of the high budget of Indian movies and the system of content creation in place Indian movies look great in comparison but because of corporatization ,nowadays there is little place for creativity at least in Hindi movie industry
Every Pakistani and indian has grown up watching bollywood too. Also since bollywood has a lot of influence from punjabi culture since a lot of the big main bollywood families are punjabis and many of which have roots to punjab which is on Pakistan side (pre partition). Also we have no problem understanding bollywood since they use a lot of urdu rather than shudh (pure) hindi. Urdu and hindi in their street forms share a lot of similarities however in their pure forms are very different (shudh Hindi and Rekhta)
If you want to listen to something religiously deep, here is a nasheed from najam sheraz "na tera khuda koi aur hai" Brief translation :"Neither your god is any else, nor mine is any else These sk diverging paths, this is but something else. " ❤❤
Guys watch Pakistani Dramas .... They are phenomenal.... Watch the lastest banger "Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum" ... It's first in trending in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh
Of course bollywood movies are better than Pakistani but dramas are shitt . I personally love Pakistani dramas , the way they carry the plot everything seems natural, just love it . Btw I am from India 🍥💗
There is a song, a hidden gem I would say, in season 3 of Coke Studio Pakistan, named Mori Araj Suno (O my Lord, pay heed to my appeal) by Tina Sani, produced by the Og producer Roail Hyatt, the story behind is that the Poet, Faiz Ahmad Faiz was a man imprisoned for many years for his left leaning views. A friend of humanity persecuted by nearly every government of that country. I read his pain in this piece. This poem by Faiz actually got banned in early 80,s. It's an absolute charm. It's a story of every heart aches and difficult phases of life
As a pakistani I can tell you the indian cinema is way better and our drama serials are top notch. They are very popularly viewed by indians even coke studio pakistan is highly listened to by indians.
Oh we consume a lot of each other social media....and yes we can totally understand each other's language given we don't speak complicated words instead simple ones,....bt yeah we watch a lot of stuff of each other
AS Pakistani Our OST's are Good and people here like bollywood too! if it was universal topics not on controversies of PAK-India. The BANDS Crazyness is on another level on ground level on both and there is exchange Pakistani's like india bands and india likes pakistani bands. btw some years there were even rumors of Atif Aslam that he is being in top list of spotify india while Pakistan had India some artists. As of My I love Sonu, Shreya, Arijit. then Sajjad Ali, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam respectively. I need you to React to Old things Also like Ghulam Ali king of Ghazal "Chupke Chupke" Ghazal their is a lot to learn!
Hindi and urdu are same, only written in differently, but let me clear this that urdu hindi speakers can understand each other very well there's like very minor diff of SOME words which everyone knows too what they mean so its not that we might understand hindi, its we do understand hindi! And everyone in Pakistan watches Indian movies and now indians watch Pakistani dramas cuz they are immensely popular in india aswell Pakistanis been watching Indian moves since our childhood!
Most of these songs (solo ones) are remakes of famous Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan songs. Pakistanis do consume loads of Bollywood because we dont have our own film industry. Same with Indians with Pakistani drams they are pretty big in India now.
Do you know there are so many songs of his are remixes of his uncle LEGEND "Nusrat Fathe Ali Khan" you shoud react original one as well. And we Indian & our Brother and Sister's from Pakistan we all watch some thing. They love watching indian movies & song and we love watching Pakistani Dramas & music✨️ Basically our taste in art are pretty similar🤗
Saiyaan Teri meri Afreen afreen Rabba main toh margaye Ore piya Sajda Tu na jane Surili ankhyon Dekhte dekhte Ishq risk Dagabaaz re Mere rashke kamar Main jahan rahoon
Watch mere paas tum ho, Bin Roye, Humsafar if you haven't already. Sadqay Tumhare. Aangan (if you can find a good copy as it isn't on RU-vid), Alif, Meri Gudiya, Nazo, Damsa...dramas like these are really good
Okk so i wanna get a vote .. from boys how many of the boys have watched Pakistani dramas or Kdramas?? pls reply to this comment and whoever have not watched like this comment .. for me i havent watched either
