The compton thrust fault has had 7s in the past too same as puente hills thrust fault. That is one of the reasons a new study from 2022 says palos verdes fault can now go 7.8. Palos verdes fault actually goes rite under where the landslides r happening now.

I watch you everyday. I live in eagle rock. Do you think the tsunami could reach here from the cascadia mega thrust? One thing that gets me.. I don’t get why people don’t think Southern California as a whole won’t just break apart into the ocean due to all of the interlaced faults between the pacific and the north Atlantic plate? I mean if you look at it from above it seems like it would be only logical that LA and Long Beach, etc could easily go below sea level if cascadia and San Andreas blows.. I mean didn’t it ACTUALLY HAPPEN with the ancient plate that used to be here? Didn’t the entire landmass suddenly subdcut?? Why don’t people think it could happen today? We are basically in the same situation as was back then.

There is an article in the la times on june 10 that explains the dangers of the multiple thrust faults under la basin. Name of the article is string of earthquakes rattles la r they telling us something bigger? In it they interview susan hough from usgs and john dolan from usc. Dolan says in it multiple thrust faults under la went off 1000 years ago. It is very informative.

yesterday‘s earthquake off of the or the queen Charlotte sound there was a 6.6 earthquake and a 6.2 minutes after the big earthquake up there and there has been a lot of made small earthquakes in the fort region website has a lot of mistakes in it because there’s nobody up there in Prince Rupert Who studies earthquakes up there? I noticed that over the years I’ve been falling earthquakes for a very long time and I don’t like the NCR Website there has been a lot of mistakes I’ve known that over the years use USGS website more often because they are very accurate on the their website on the earthquakes And I don’t believe it was a six earthquake. I believe it was a 6.2 first of all and then minutes later there was a 6.6 earthquake 30 km apart from the Mosby Canyon. I think it is a fault zone-wide.
