So I did something different this week in The Trial - actually modifying and tuning the car myself. Did it work out well? Not really. And it wasn't my finest hour of FH5 multiplayer.
This week it was Fords from the 2010s in A-Class, and I do have a 2015 Ford Falcon GT F 351 pre-tuned in this class, but no, instead I took one of the 2018 Ford Mustang GTs, and modified it up to A800, and tuned it a small amount.
In the main series, I end up getting taken out for the first time in forever, and so because of that, I wanted to see if it was actually any good, and tried a second series. There, I took myself out of the first race - twice, and then in the second race, it looked okay, until I realised the PI 'advantage' I had.
As for why the rear wing - I don't know what I was thinking. I thought they might be the street races in the towns, but no.
And so, no, although it drove well, it wasn't very quick. Certainly don't rely on my tunes. Probably will be back to normal next time.

When you tune for this week's trial "Honda-ful" use the '74 Civic with AWD swap, body kit swap, sport brakes, stock suspension (yes STOCK), rear Forza aero, race anti-roll bars, off-road tires, race differential, and then power and weight upgrades to A800. Leave tire pressure low, bring your anti rolls down to 9 for front and 8.5 for rear. Reduce both your front and rear aero full left to the minimum settings. Go back to your gears and tune those to your liking. It's dirt tracks and will start at Baja Scramble, Desierto Trail, and, if needed (race 3) El Pipila Scramble. Good Hondas besides the 74 Civic are the Mugen Civic 84, 91 CRX, and the 2016 Rally Coupe... All great cars for the trial. I've liked and subscribed to you. Good luck my dude

I completely ignored the image as I thought it might be wrong, and put semi-slicks on the car I chose instead of offroad ones... It was a very interesting set of races this time.

@@paulmorris50 how'd you do? Definitely dirt! LoL. I had to win 3 races, all with the 74 Civic because my teammates went with all stock Hondas.

@@domn8dontw8 It will be in the video, but not too bad at first. Despite having semi-slicks, the newest Civic was still pretty competitive. Although there was one player in the team that definitely was sure of it being dirt racing. I again did two series, changing for the second one to offroad race tyres, just to see how competitive my tuning could have been. And as with you, for what seems like the first time in a long time for me, there was half of the team that were in stock cars.
