I agree with you, it’s my main fragrance since 2009. Of course I used and still use many others fragrances but this one brings memories I get with its smell still I always get complements.

Thanks for the review but it sounds like it's another (imo - UNmanly) of many common typical boring "unisex" fragrances? No musk in this? Lemon, Orange & most of all Violet tells me it's way too flowery for myself probably. That (imo) seems way too unisex fragrance to come across as being a "manly" odor. As a man I do not want ANY odors that a woman wears in my colognes or fragrances. Any feminine odors over powers & ruins most colognes FOR MEN these days imho. So many fragrance reviewers I don't & can't trust anymore because they are all FAR too into this "unisex" smelling fragrances. Not for this MAN.
Thanks for watching 😊, I understand your point of view, I can't tell you what to like but can describe the feagrance based on my personal perception of it. Keep in mind one fragrances can smell great on you but badly on someone else..that is also a fact. I would go with notes that I like in a fragrance as well. If you don't like certain notes then most likely that fragrances is not for your taste, however the best way is to test it on your P.H... if you get the chanse..

Always best to test but I've noticed at the majority of retailers these days it's 95% all "unisex" brands so it has been VERY difficult to sample fragrances. Not that I'm in total distaste of all unisex odors, I love YvesSaintLaurent smell and Bentley Intense for men. Glad I purchased the regular Davidoff's Cool water & especially Azzaro's Most Wanted By Night and Dolce & Gabbana THE ONE. All those didn't smell "unisex" in the least to me. But I'm a 59yr old man that use to wear basically English Leather by Dana so there is that. LOL. I just recently got back into the fragrance game after many years. When I was younger I use to layer & combine my colognes for unique odors. The ladies seemed to give me more compliments when I would find the right layer combos. They never had this "unisex" stuff back then. I hated AXE back in the day but lots of ladies seemed to like it. I don't mind musk at all though. I found that Dior Sauvage to be like a excellent perfected version of AXE in a way if that makes any sense. I was a bit underwhelmed by Dior Sauvage. I got the $80 EDP of it. It's ok. I'll wear it now & then I presume it's maybe a bit over played. My wife much prefers the much cheaper Cool Water & especially the Wanted By Night. I was surprised considering how much the Sauvage was so highly suggested as being one of the top "Men's Colognes". I found Dolce & Gabbana The One by far the more "manly" fragrance. You are right about the new fragrances, to me , all smell pretty much similar and nothing stands out anymore.. Some exceptions in the niche world but very expensive...My husband likes Dior Sauvage e.d.t and i do to,better than edp. Also try Mugker Angel Pure Malt, another interesting fragrance or Chanel Home, the original one, if you find it..they tend to reformulate everything.. Thank you for sharing your opinion !
