So Terra only sent ONE SHIP??? They couldn't take on the Crethan fleet in the Iduan system directly, but had to rely on hit and run tactics and disrupt supply lines, but was able to take on the full defenses of the Crethan homeworld directly and by itself??? Doesn't make much sense. And then Anya was originally Tanaka's K-9 companion, but at the end is Stone's? Not a bad story overall, but a lot of inconsistencies are present. I would also think Terra would send a fleet with supplies to help rebuild and to strengthen orbital defenses afterwards.
no no...by the end she's back to being Tanaka's. lol starts out as Tanaka's...becomes Stones during battle...ends up Tanaka's again at the end. smh. 8)
This is a bad story. I thought you'd read it first. The phrases are constantly repeated. This is obviously authored by AI (or an 8 year old). Never thought I'd hear a bad story from you. You generally read really good stories.
I'm not even sure that he's recording it at this point. There's been just enough unnatural audio glitches, and pronouncing ellipses by literally saying "dot dot dot" that I think he may have used the first several months of actually narrating stories to train a machine to mimic his voice and style.
You people understand he reads the text, you know, this being a narration channel, right? He's not the author, or the proof reader. And if he started altering the original, you'd all shit on him for changing a few words around for clarity.
If he's merely narrating these, why does he never credit an author? The answer is that there is no author. In the details section of all recent videos, he states "Original story written by Starbound Stories" without even giving the name of an author. You know who credits an org with creating art instead of a person? People trying to obfuscate their use of AI. That's who.
I hope that if you have the audacity to use AI to write your stories you'd at least have the decency and the skill to proofread and make it somewhat authentic
Having the audacity to use AI this way radiates barely contained laziness. They'll overwhelm all reasonable expectations with the tenacity to not grit their teeth as they upload it with a steely eyed determination to not give a fck
Okay, the first few minutes are just the same thing repeated over and over. It may not be read by an AI, but it was definitely written by one. Most of the stories on this channel are good, but this one is not.
Not extremely bad, but far from good either. Author, if human and not "AI" does know squat about military, survival, war, diplomacy, politics, nor storrytelling or life.
