No, I believe that truly successful people never see failure as an option. Then, when something unforeseen happens, non-successful people will interpret that as failure. Successful people see a necessary detour on their steadfast path to victory.
When he said that your actions are always based on your beliefs, it gave me chills. That is so true, and yet it takes a lot of work to change those beliefs. But it is all worth it
This is one of the best interviews I have heard. Great questions and content, just purchased book and now I'm thinking I need to buy multiple copies to share. Thanks so much for the work you do.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned from listening to Lewis for so long is in order to be in the top 1% of anything you must do the opposite of what the 99% do. Surprisingly this is what I believe is the secret to success in most fields.
I love that you shared this video. The willingness to be uncomfortable, to keep going when times are tough, to call on our courage when silence would be the easy alternative. To stand alone if that’s what it takes. That determines our success 💜
To all the dreamers out there, don't ever let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and right people, ANYTHING is possible. 🙏🖤
This is hands down one of the most inspirational podcasts I have listened to in a long time. So many helpful nuggets of truth. Thank you Robin and thank you Lewis.
Lewis…. I was really really looking forward to this to be uploaded since you announced that you recorded with Robin! I listened to a podcast version three times and I want to say thank you, Lewis… Thanks to your book, The School of Greatness, I got inspired to start growing vegetables and donate them to a charity group and I did it for the very first time in my life! Your generous activities really keep attracting me! Thank you so much Lewis and Robin for this beautiful collaboration🙏♥️🙏 Love and respect you both very much🍀
You did it again Lewis! Another amazing human being has entered my world. Thank you, thank you for bringing these amazing insights and thoughts and conversations to all of us! Truly thankful for you!
This conversation has touched the deepest part of my soul and stirred something there, because it was a conversation between these two genuine and beautiful humans! This might sound airy fairy but I’ve not felt this moved to this level in the longest time. Thank you both for all that you do 🙏🏽
Truly one of the best. Thanks Robin and Lewis both of you, so much value and wisdom here. I was taking notes and kept rewinding and relistening to some parts. Gems
I truly felt bad for him when he said his journals that he had his whole life were gone. You can hear the sadness in his voice. Yes you can get over things that have happened to you in your life but the scars remain and every time you touch the scar, you can still feel the pain.
Hi Lewis, just want to let you know - I have been listening to and watching your RU-vid podcasts for a year and something now and it contributed so much to my wellbeing.. every time I cannot fall asleep I listen to some of your video talks and it relaxes me and inspires and I can sleep in peace. So thank you very much for this content and keep going please. You are a hero of these times. 🙏💛🌿🌞
“Failure is the highway to success. The discomfort of growth is always so much more valued than the illusion of safety.”-Robin Sharma Dayummmmm!!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
True. You become in your outer world what you create in your inner world. If you are at peace, you will maintain your balance in a way that energy keeps flowing.
Lewis!!! Please interview an artist, visual artist, painter, illlustrator (like Tod McFarlane, Alez Ross, etc) . I'm in that field and i would like to know how they become great at their work. Blessings
Homeboy ignored the question about what happened to his journals. Either that or he gave an ambiguous response that lead me to believe he was trying to avoid answering it all together. People like this guy are good but hard to listen to at times bc it’s filled with encouragement but sometimes the instruction is not as clear or the talk is rooted in philosophical and theoretical belief in something rather than practical solutions to everyday living.
Thank you so much for sharing this, I really enjoyed learning why some find it hard to enjoy moments of peace, I love how both of you said WHY? Peaceful moments is unfamiliar to some and they subconsciously create crisis to feel safe.
The first time i bought a book in my life, was because of this man, Robin Sharma. Tittle of the book. Robin Sharma: The Monk WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI. Robin Sharma is my my mentor, wherever he is, one day i will attend his sermon, and i will take the front seat. Trust me, i will come back to this comment and tell you all that i have achieved my dream of being at his sermon.
That book saved my life. Was at my lowest, going through severe depression and I needed something to save me. Robin's book did. I am forever grateful ❤🎉❤❤
Sorry to tell you. For most of us is is not where to start but HOW TO START! Most days I am lucky to have just enough motivation to breathe. Truly I believe Mel Robinson may be the only one that gets it Thanks Lewis for hosting her in the past. M
Hey Mila. I was in a very similar place in regards to what you said. They key thing for me was constantly consuming positive messaging in one way or another. And cutting down on negative input and influences, people etc. For me I had to change the programming first. Then exercise gave me a boost of energy. It was hell at first but gets better. You seem to be consuming positive content so I encourage you to be consistent. Motivational videos on yt are great to prime the mind and change your perspective. I wish you the best
Yes, Speak life... Our words hold so much power and the vibration it sends off does play a huge role in our lives regardless if we acknowledge it or not
Finding Robin is like finding a diamond in the rough..master champ of word's some of the most prominent leaders of all time have conquered with the power of word's!
Great, great, great. If possible, read his book "who will cry when you will die".5AM Club course was a great thing to happen.Sorry,i am getting carried away.Thank you Both so muchch.Gratitude.
I feel his way of working is very “masculine energy”, and it’s not always the best way to act for a woman and mother of young children… but I love his strategies and the way he teaches and inspires. I read the 5an club book, and I did some of his programs online. I love Robin Sharma!
Awww, what an adorable opportunity to see two geniuses together. I also dream and my dream will become reality, that i will be a self esteem growth coach ! It's my passion, is my dream. With this i feel i can serve the world, the best. While i grow too, through learning and self discipline. Lewis, i know you from another's titan webinar, and today i see you in a different light, a better one. Or i grew, or you grew, or we both grew. 😉
Is it just me, or is Robins breathing in between words seem so calculated? Like ever since I've started watching his stuff years ago, I never commented on it; but was always Lowkey obsessed with the sound of his breathes in between sentences lmfaoooo 😂
Lawis, you are 1000% symbol of inspiration. I learned a lot from this podcast. Robin Sharma, he is such a Gift for this world. His books has changed my life and helped me to serve other as well. Kudos to both of you. Lots of love and respect from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 ❤
😊 first you become conscious then you are out of fear and jugement you live only in now. Then you begin to explore your skills 😊 and then you have ideas. Then you question if the environment you are in is ready for theses ideas😅
Great interview.. thanks Lewis.. for sharing a mastery of ourselves knowing who we truly are .. because our energy is tireless..a work of love not a work of money.. working with honor with your craft/ art Working with peace and contentment in life. " So much joy comes from service " humble servant" .. Happiness is not from money but from the SELF MASTERY "KNOW YOURSELF" WOW!!! THANKS FOR THE MESSAGE
I would consider that the reason the 95% need to ask, "Where do I start?" is that they are unaware they have been programed with 'what to think' and not taught the ability or awareness of 'how to think'. Bottom line is public education = the 95% and private schools = the 5%. Those in public school have learned to obey authority and reject learning. Perhaps the rejection is because at some level they intrinsically know what they are being taught has no real value. They have yet to realize that this is purposely done or that there is an alternative as their peers and parents repeat and confirm the false teachings. The extended programming, from birth onward, of the 95% blocks any ability to even formulate a step by step plan after being told where to start. They also need to be told the steps of how to start and the steps to follow after that. Ignorance isn't aware it is ignorant or will except that as possibility.
Yes!! I was writing a book on this until of course, I uncovered and discovered all the ways in which I feed into the programming... it's a tricky subject.
Thank you Thank you Thank you Lewis, for sharing the powerful and inspiring wisdom from Mentor Robin Sharman, Who I can definitely learn and grow from in my personal, professional development😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
somehow I end up attracting the one in need of healing or some kind of help. I guess I come across as a provider/giver. As much as I can give with all my heart and wisdom, sometimes I do expect to meet people to be my helper - which is obviously where the problem lies (what to do I'm a human too). on the contrary I also believe the earth is my provider and my saviour so I don't really need anything. I think I am not able to balance those thoughts consistently.
The purpose of life is Joy. The basis of life is absolute freedom and the result is expansion. We are advancing in all ways, successful are those who keep a balance between asking and receiving.
Beautiful! One thing… So wish the video did not blast us at the end with an ad for another show … To me it disrespects us being allowed to absorb in a moment of silence the profundity of what was just shared from that particular guest. To have Tony Robbins come blasting on at the end of Robin Sharma and of the profound closing questions that were just asked him… was jarring and deeply disturbing … Like an anvil being thrown into a the depth and meaning of a beautiful tranquil pond. Thanks for listening to my experience with this. Blessings to you all for doing great work!
1:22:00 in - yes, people get hubris and I think what goes along with that is that they become protected by their people and their entourage and they lose contact with the everyday person. I’ve seen it with Actors, Business people, ministers, athletes, politicians, etc. I see LeBron and Nancy Pelosi in this light. I worked for two Seahawk training camps and I saw it. I saw it with even college athletes who were always treated special their whole lives.
Lewis, Thank you so much for this interview, it was very meaningful to me. I read and reread the Monk Who Sold His Ferrari during a pivotal period of life and just ordered his new one. Thanks!
OMG, that is my ex-wife. She always had to create drama. I love peace. She always had to stir stuff up and would keep pushing buttons until the drama started…not just with me. I always said that she could be standing in line at a grocery and by the time she checked out, she was best friends with the person in firing of her and 4 or 5 months later, they couldn’t stand her and wanted nothing to do with her.
