as a hardworking 15 yr old who's extremely determined and passionate about herself and her dreams, really needed this :) I just realized that the qualities you shared that a particular star student has, I actually reflect them in some ways, I have them within me , I just needed a reminder like this that i'm doing everything right and I have to be patient!❤ and ofc to keep going and not give up!🎉

As spring break ends, I reflect on my pass successes, how the extra hard work has got me this far. Choosing the harder courses, using my time wisely being the person I want to be become. It's the drive that matters. The inner voice telling you what you should do, and balancing what you should do from what makes you, you. It's all about what you do now. Hi WAmy. Thank you for this video. For me, i keep on feeling discouraged. I kept on comparing myself to others. I am that person who sleeps so much, the one you explained in the beginning. I want to have that drive and spark. I have changed my major many times and can't seem to find one that interests me or gives me that passion. I am hoping I will figure it out soon. I remember the biggest hurdle of studying well for me and I think for others was appearing cool. Caring about what others value. I think only when I centered myself to what goals I wanted I could establish the drive to study. This is a great video that addresses this.

I know people who are accomplished and successful in that 1% category but the difference you have is that you want to help others and teach them what you know. (Thank you!) And thank you for your hard work on this channel! You talked about intrinsic motivation instead of extrinsic. Could you please consider making a video about how to develop a deeper intrinsic motivation? It does seem like an individual thing, but you've shared so much about how you thrive in life on an individual level. In so many movies, if there is a really smart girl portrayed she always has a romantic interest, or she's popular, as if to communicate the message that that's what grades (or other ambitions) are for. There is only one movie I can think of where the girls in the end don't have a love interest, but instead, they get a better opportunity to do something meaningful. I am a very social person and have noticed over the years that I don't have the best workflow if I am not doing something regularly with friends. I've wondered if this is just an extrovert's struggle to stay academically on top or a lack of intrinsic motivation.
